I had to purchase from five lots, because this product is discontinued, but the color variation is harmonious and looks like a real natural product instead of the plastic look if it had been all identical in color. All the milling joints fit perfectly throughout the five lots.

Had a rectangular room, so no fancy cuts were needed. I wore latex gloves to keep the glue from getting in my fingernails. Not completely finished yet but it looks great. I did leave it stacked by a window with no UV protection and strong sun exposure and there were some color changes/fading before I noticed. I just used those in the closet where it didn't really matter much.

ONCE THIS HAS OCCURED, THE PIECE IS COMPROMISED AND KEEPS DELAMINATING. REPLACE IMMEDIATELY.

We installed the natural vertical bamboo floors in our kitchen and dining rooms. The floors look fantastic...very modern look with our white cabinets and stainless appliances. We have kids and are not having any problems with scratching that others have mentioned (I think a lot of those issues come from dogs). The one issue I have noticed is that the very light bamboo is harder to keep clean because it shows every piece of dirt or piece of food that is dropped on the floor (this is forcing us to sweep every day...so it is probably a net positive). Overall very happy with the floor and our decision to install them.

I put this in my teenage son's bedroom. Everything went in easily with no warped pieces. I would recommend this as a product for beginners since there were no "tricks" to laying it down and nailing in place.

My wife and I had a professional installer put this into our bedroom and closet (we replaced our carpeting), and we absolutely love the look and feel of the floor. We have only had it for about a month now, so all is still good (no major scratches, nicks, etc). However, we've already had to have our installer replace one board that cracked and began to split along it's length. He removed it and replaced it with a new board that seems to be holding up fine. I can't say either way if the problem was improper installation, or the board itself, but I'm leaning toward the board being faulty.

I would give this flooring 5-stars, but I am holding back to 4 for a reason. Our installer is a CRAFTSMAN, and works with fine woods on high-end jobs all of the time. When I asked him how the install went, he said that it took him twice the time that he had planned because the boards kept splintering as he was working with them. He called the wood "cheap" and said that he was not very fond of it. Obviously, HE would not recommend it. It scared my wife and me a bit to hear this, but since it's a bedroom floor with very little traffic (no dogs and kids either), we think that it should hold up well. However, as bamboo tends to be, it seems a bit soft and could be prone to easy denting and scratching. Only time will tell.

As a company, Lumber Liquidators was easy to work with, very courteous, and knowledgeable. We would use them again.

All-in-all, great looking, great price, but a little soft, and somewhat difficult to install according to our professional.

Since this was for a basement TV room, I considered laminate. Fortunately, my basement has never had a moisture problem, so I went with the Natural Bamboo and I love it! It gives the room a whole new aura and we love being there. It feels sort of like being in a yoga studio.

I used this product to replace aged carpeting in a large bedroom. My carpenter/contractor, an expert flooring installer, had never worked with bamboo but found it so easy to lay and so attractive and durable that he has vowed to recommend it to future clients.
We love the natural finish bamboo for its ability to brighten a room that is heavily shaded except in winter. It is an absolutely gorgeous product!

I start getting the flooring because it was on sale, and was installed on my masterbedroom, it just got me, I love my bare feet on them. It looks clean, nice, contemporary and warm.
It's the best investment for your flooring on fair budget, better than carpet or laminate, and it looks like an expensive one.

When installing the floor I noticed that the finsh was cracking at the ends of the board during install, had to gently move the boards together to avoid this,if any tools were dropped on to the floor even from just inches away it would show a mark, my contractor looked at some of the boards and could scratch the finish with his finger nail, thought the finish was not what he had seen on other floors. I myself have installed several floors from LL and had not had this problem before. When I asked the salesman at LL about the finsh he said that was the nature of bamboo and I could always refinish them myself, as the 30 year warrenty was not for "normal wear".

Put the flooring in 2 bedrooms. Each room was about 150 sq ft including the closets. First room went in Feb 2008 and still looks great and no problems so far. So happy with first room we just installed it in the second room Feb 2010. Out of 300 sq feet I think we have found one bad board coming out of the box. Very impressed. Can't beat the price.

I loved the way this product looked immediately after it was installed but after 1 week of normal family use,I'm seeing dents and scratches in many locations.
We have 3 kids 9,6, & 5 and it's installed in my living room and hallway.

Believe me, this product is easily damaged. I am considering replacing it with a harder material.

We only put 1/4 of the floor down in the living room. When we moved the TV cart back over it the floor was noticably marked. My husband dropped a nickel on it and it dented the floor. Took the unopened boxes back to the store and the employees at our local store are trying to contact the manufacturer (Morning Star) to see if we can get our money back.

I love the natural bamboo color, its very clean-looking. It brightens any room, adding a high-end feel. I've only been using the new floors for a couple of weeks so I can't comment one way or another on the durability, but you sure get a lot of bang for your buck with bamboo.

I hired a professional carpenter to install the floor due to the angles and design that I wanted. He complained about the glue being very messy and difficult to work with. But the floor came out beautiful and I look forward to many years of enjoyment.

It went down just as we had hoped. We did not use a phnuematic stapler because it split the tougne.

We bought this product because it is a sustainable resource. The light color was perfect for our dark hallway.
Note: Always trim your door jambs; don't try to cut around them! We tried to cut around one door frame and it looked horrible.

High quality product. It has a beautiful finish, and we didn't have a problem with scratching or denting, even while we moved in furniture and appliances. Installation was a breeze after the first few rows, and our teenager ended up doing half the installation. We installed this in our living and dining room, and we plan on buying more and installing it in the rest of the house for our next project. I can't recommend it enough.

I had it professionally installed in my livingroom and it is beautiful. We have five dogs and so far there is not a scratch to be found. I have put felt pads on ALL the furniture. Easy to mantain. Would do it again in a heart beat.

Product is very nice. We used the tiger strand in the master bedroom which doesn't show any marks. Vertical/natural we used in the living/dining room...noticed a couple of dents/scratches already from furniture. Overall we are happy with the product, but we've only had it for a week.

I have the natural bamboo in family,living room,steps and loft. Looks great! Please note: If you have a large dog, may scratch floors in the first few months after installation. Bamboo takes 3-4 month to actually harden

I am impressed with the quality of the machined edges, and the fit and finish of Morning Star bamboo flooring. The cracks between are so minimal due to the micro beveling, as compared to the large dust-catching cracks common in other brands found in homecenters. Really a quality product, and great for the enviroment!

We had it installed as a part of a major remodel. We felt it was a good value. It looks great. We installed it as stated above plus our hallway to the bedrooms/baths. Had a few pieces that were "off" (understand that is somewhat normal) but we still ended up with an extra box because our installer is that good with bamboo! He's a perfectionist!

I used this in my condo (about 1200 square feet) I glued it down. The look is top notch, the finish is great. The only thing is that it dents really easy. So DON'T drop anything hard or sharp on it.

We did natural bamboo with a carmelized border and it is just beautiful. Rather than put the border up against the wall we brought it out to sit in front of the furniture. WOW It makes our bedroom look like a showplace. WE LOVE IT

first time doing harwood and did 1100 sqf in my whole house and it went great and looks awesome... only complaint was some full boxes were quite a bit diffrent in color and so i had to sort through them to mix em up so i wouldnt have stripes... but the darker wood mixed in looked great.. i didnt think a whole box woul dbe darker or lighter... i think it was because of the dates a couple boxes were processed diffrent dates...something to keep in mind but a great floor none the less

This is a very nice looking floor and easy to install. I installed it in my kitchen, then added cabinets and countertops. The only issue I have is that it scratches very easily, we have had the floor for about 2 weeks and there are many dings on the floor. We were careful to protect the floor by placing cardboard on the floor and underneath anything we moved, still we ended up with scratches and dings. On the plus side, the scratches and dings are only visible when you stand right on top of them.

This was my first hardwood flooring project, and it went very well - the installation was easy, the material was very consistent in both fit and finish. I have three young children, and the bamboo has been used/abused for almost 2 years and it still looks great - it resists scratches and scrapes much better than anticipated. The price is right, and the quality is even better - will definitely use the Morning Star Bamboo flooring on our next project!
