This floor went down easily through about 1200 sf of my house. I do have 2 children and a dog, but we have kept up with regular cleaning. I am very disappointed in how bad the finish looks after only one year! The 25 year warranty is worthless - pay a little more and get better quality.

This was the first room to be done in bamboo and I can't wait to do every room in my house. The finished product is beautiful, stays clean, and is easy to keep clean. I can't wait to be able to do other rooms.

Installed this product in a small shore condominium. Initial few boards took a while to install and line up; once I got the hang of it, however, it installed quickly and easily. The finish appears durable and the color is beautiful. You will need glue for the board ends, as well as a tapping block and small pry bar to make sure the seams are close.

Some of the boards bowed while we were laying the floor. None of them twisted so we were able to use them. We let the flooring acclimate for over two weeks because it arrived early and we were not done with our prep work. Even with the two week acclimation, the boards started to bow when laying out on the floor waiting to be layed. We live in a very dry climate and it is the middle of winter so that may have contributed. We didn't have anywhere near the amount of waste we thought we would. It's very nice.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 9/16" x 5" Vertical Natural Bamboo Quick Clic:
My first time for a flooring project, I found this product reasonably easy to install in my 400 sq ft living room...time consuming, but easy. The only issue I had was with quite a number of the boards being bowed (the center being higher than the ends), making them a bit difficult to properly lock into place. As they tell you, there is a lot of color variation. What they don't say is that there's not only variation from box-to-box, but within individual boxes. I decided that I was just going to ignore that issue. Fixing it would have been VERY time consuming. Once installed, it looks great. It's solid with no squeaks or creaks, but I also had a very good base. It's too early to tell about durability, scratching, etc.

The ends of the boards will not stay together. There is no positive lock at the ends as there are at the edges.

This is really nice looking floor when it's installed. I am especially impressed with the very durable finish - very scratch resistant.
Install requires gluing the short edges, so be aware of that before you buy. I was under the impression you only needed to click it together until I asked the LL customer service folks.
Also, you MUST buy and use a tapping block to install this floor correctly. Otherwise you will never get the joints tight enough if you fit by hand with brute force. I did a couple rows without tapping and I wasn't very pleased with the gap width & overall tightness of the floor. Using a hammer and tapping block made all the difference in the world. Use a pull bar for the ends and pieces near walls.
