My daughter and I installed this bamboo throughout our 1929 cabin, and it looks absolutely fabulous and really brightens the place up. We have done quite a bit of DIY but this was our first wood floor, and we chose to glue it down rather than have us two ladies shooting ourselves in the foot with a nail gun. It was not difficult at all, just a little messy. Nor did we encounter an inordinate number of defective boards; only half a dozen in 800 sq. ft. The finish seems to be holding up fine so far (4 months) to two adults, 1 small dog, and 11 ferrets; the only dent I have put in it was from rolling in another box of bamboo with a hand truck (the wheel left a black dent in one spot).

All in all, this is an excellent product for the price and it is also nice to be supporting a renewable resource with our flooring choice.

The flooring was easy to install. I am a beginner at installing flooring. We installed the horizontal bamboo flooring in an 8 x 10 bedroom. It was so easy and looked so good, we purchased more and installed it in a small computer room and hallway.

We used this in part of our kitchen and entire living room. It was better suited for a bedroom. If you have kids or pets or live anywhere with wet weather, don't install this product on the first floor. It will be destroyed rather quickly because the finish on this product is so flat.

Honestly, if I had it to do over again, I would have gone with real hardwood. I would also avoid prefinshed products since I have children. I feel that wood floors hold up better if no moisture and dirt gets between each board.

I used this product to cover the walls and ceiling of a walk-in closet. This is the softer bamboo, and not suitable to use in high traffic areas. I then used it to cover the walls of a rather large enclosed patio. Because I was working by myself, the individual pieces were much easier than paneling or drywall, and because all the pieces are the same size, it was easy to plan the arrangement.

Not all pieces even making installing without seams somewhat challenging. For the price, however, and the use (son's bedroom) at good value. It took a fair amount of work to keep the seams to a minimum.

My husband & I put this flooring in our kitchen,dinning room, living room, laundry room and both bathrooms! It has made our home feel huge and bright. Since the flooring is in all the rooms, they flow together seamlessly and give a very smart design look.
The flooring is very easy to clean and is very durable, I checked out another big box store's bamboo which was more expensive and a lower grade.
we are very satisfied with the flooring!
We did have a contractor do the install, it went down very quickly!

This was my first hardwood floor installation, and it was really easy. The key is making sure the first row is straight. There were just a couple boards with a split on the top layer at one end, but I'm overall very happy with the wood and how it looks.

We installed this floor in the whole house except the kitchen and bathrooms. The only wear or scratches are at our eating counter where the chairs are moved in and out and even that is not to bad. It has been installed for two years now and I think it has held up well but we have no children or pets. I can see how they might tear it up a bit. If you have kids or long nailed pets you might want to get a more expensive bamboo. I also noticed that it gets darker where the sun hits it a lot. Right after we finished the installation but before we put up drapes I put a stack of shelving boards on the floor of the bedroom. When I moved the shelves to install them a week or so later there was a dark line with a light area where they had been. Fortunately it is under the bed now so it dosen't show. Just be aware that it does change color some from the sunlight. Also use plenty of staples to hold it down. I only put them about 12 or 14 inches apart. Now you can hear the floor pop a little when you walk on it as it flexes in the hallway. No one else has mentioned it so it's not bad enough to be a bother. People do comment on how beautiful it is, and always stop at the entry way and take their shoes of. We never do it seems to be tough enough for us.

This Bamboo is a "young bamboo" making it softer than "mature bamboo", so it scratches and dings fairly easily. It's very beautiful and a great product for the PRICE. It was very easy to install, but does require a special Bamboo/Laminate nailer to install it. I would recommend this flooring to someone with small/no pets, looking for beautiful flooring on a budget.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this floor. We purchased this floor for our kids bedrooms, and I'm actually sort of jealous! My husband and I installed the floors together very easily. My only suggestion would be if you have access to a nail gun, use it! It will save you so much time, not to mention effort. As with all hardwood flooring, there were some pieces with imperfections, but that is to be expected, so we cut them and used those pieces to get the staggered look that we desired. Beautiful floor, great color, finish seems durable. A+++

I did all my house with this floor except kitchen and bathrooms. After 3 years my living room and family room floors look horibble and I decide to put new floors this time I will use very hard wood. Yes it looked very nice for the couple weeks. Now there is a lot of scratches and small holes in the floor. I bought large rug but it doesn't cover whole floor. I have small kids so in most was destroyed from playing with toys but every time when something felt on the floor the big mark was left. However in the bedrooms where we usuallly only sleep or rest the floorss till look cool (except the place where our computer chair was).

The flooring looks very good. One thing to keep in mind is that the bamboo fibers will fracture easily if the nail does not go in smoothly and far enough. My floor has a slight dent upward where my nailing gun did not push the nail into the groove firmly enough. The new row on top of that nail has a rise, rather than absorbing the nail into the fiber. It's not a big deal, but does require more thought when working with the bamboo.

very nice flooring. looks great in my living room and kitchen. easy to install. we used a floor stapler to install and had no issues. i was pleasantly suprised that there were very few defective/damaged planks in the boxes. out of 26 boxes i had about 4 slightly damaged or cracked boards. i would definetely use this flooring again and lumber liquidaters was great!

What a drastic and wonderful change from the old carpet we had in our office! And it goes well enough with the varied wood furniture we have in there. We have had bamboo in our dining room and entry for 15 years - long before it was sold in this area - and it still looks great, even though it's never been refinished. Terrific product.

My husband and I installed the floors ourselves. The installation was fairly easy except for the flooring that is close to the walls. We could not use the nail-gun around these areas because it is to wide to fit, so we had to hand nail those floor boards down and the floors are THICK so this part was pretty hard. But if you are handy around the house it is worth the savings to do it yourself rather than pay for them to be installed.

The floors are super easy to clean and we have had a lot of positive comments about how great they look. We chose the solid bamboo because of how thick the wood is, if you want floors that will really last, these are a great option.

The only reason I am giving these floors a 4 out of 5 is because of the color. We wanted natural because we liked the very light color however the floors are much darker and look like the "toast" color. I understand this is probably hard to control but if you are looking for a specific color, I would suggest checking all your boxes, pull the boards out and take a good look at them to make sure it is what you want. We did check a few boxes but apparently we did not look close enough. I have also included a picture that shows the color of our floors.

Other than that I love them and would want them in every room of the house!

We researched the bamboo extensively. Many trips to the 2 Lumber Liquidators in our area. Asked the sales staff at both places, and multiple sales persons, how it would hold up under the feet of a 50lb. and 18lb. dog (we have one of each). Was assured that it would perform excellent. Hours after install we noticed indented scratch marks from the 50lb. dog (she can't get traction on the bare floor so slides). Little things that have been dropped leave a dent. When we very slowly & carefully rolled the fridge back into place it left an indent trail.

I agree it's beautiful, we used 19 boxes of it in a family room/kitchen area, no bad pieces and install went smoothly. I personally enjoy the color variation (it's not massively different) - gives some character. But we are so disappointed with how easily it gets marred! We are hoping that when we sand it and refinish (by a prof.) next year we can get a better/stronger finish that might help w/ the scratches?!

i recently installed 500 sq foot of the bamboo i loved the colors and the product the boards were so straight i barely needed my mallet and finishing off the rooms the boards were easy to get tight not one board was warped and out of all the seams in the floor less than a dosen were not perfect and they were so close to perfect you really had to look to spot it all in all it was a great flooring experience using this product typically i need to fight with some of the boards to get them tight and many more seams have issues with the cuts not being perfect although they were purchased elsewhere my only suggestion is to open two boxes at a time and lay them out to blend the colors as is good practise with any flooring although some types its best to open even more boxes to blend

Installed throughout main living areas... I loved the look and beauty of finished flooring, just had to pay attention and not hit the air nailer too hard on install as nailer will dent flooring on install.... other than that would recommend to others..... but keep in mind that this grade will be softer than others and is less durable than that of higher density.

My contractor and I just finished my sunroom. I went with this natural horizontal bamboo floor and it is striking! Everybody loves it. I love that it is renewable, and that it is so inexpensive! As this 4 season room is mostly windows, I wanted something that could deal with a little water when I no doubt will accidentally leave the windows open during a storm. My contractor had installed this nail down on a previous job and said he put a piece of it in a bucket of water for a week and it hardly changed it all. I helped him install and we both thought it fairly easy (bamboo does splinter so careful when cutting). We went with the Elastilon underlayment as we were on a concrete above grade subfloor. That worked out very well, and the Elastilon people were super helpful. I would def recommend that underlayment esp on concrete because it is a lot softer and less noisy compared to the one large step I have, where we glued directly to OSB board. The elastilon has a lot more cushion, surprisingly so. The step feels a LOT harder. And supposedly it will keep it warmer in the winter since the floor won't be directly on the concrete. To sum up, GORGEOUS floor, GREAT price, FRIENDLY to the environment, what more do you want?

The price is affordable and stock is readily available at my local store. The Natural Bamboo brightens up a room. It is perfect for a sun-room or sitting area where light is the key element. It is easy to install and easier to maintain (A damp cloth for a spill or dirt/mud track) I have had this in my home for 5 years now and I am beyond pleased.

Starting this project, all I knew was that I wanted a sustainable material and didn't want to pay a FORTUNE. We found the Vertical Supreme Bamboo and watched it until it went on sale. We weren't sure about our subfloor before ordering, and found out it was two inches of quick-crete which isn't a suitable subfloor for naildown. Click/floating flooring was out of our price range, and we had two options: glue down the flooring, which would have been tedious and just as expensive as floating, or nailing down a new subfloor.
We covered all 700sq ft with 3/4" plywood. We nailed it down excessively to avoid creaking later on. It took almost a whole day to do that, what with notching out cloests and weird corners, and found that the screws went in more solid and sturdy if we drilled pilot holes first.
Putting in the Bamboo was easy! Once we figured out the pattern we wanted and the measurements we had to cut to length, the project flew by. My fiance and I had never done anything like this. My father helped, but had never worked with this subfloor let along nail down hard wood, and we only took a day and a half (the doorways and closets slowed us down a bit).
It looks FANTASTIC! We have one scratch from a hammer being dropped, which could damage any floor. And its SO easy to clean. I have a German Shepherd who sheds constantly and all i have to do it sweep and mop. No more clogged vaccuums, no more hair left behind, and no more traffic marks.

I really enjoyed my do-it-yourself project. I installed bamboo flooring on my stairs as well as in both bedrooms upstairs. The floors look amazing. The bamboo was great as it did not seem to be suseptible to warping, as other hardwood products that I have utilized in the past. The adhesive is a bit tricky as you start working, but once you get the hang of it....smooth sailing. Very happy overall!!!

Sometimes you'll get a box that's fine; sometimes you'll get a box that's warped beyond belief. This wood is tongue in groove. A number of boards are either missing part or all of the tongue. A number have incompletely cut grooves. Bottom line: it's decent for the price. However, you have to thoroughly inspect the finish, straightness, and proper dimensions of EACH board. I recommend laying out the boards and using a dehumidifier to help remove all of the excess moisture from this young wood. Get extra. Remove ANY excess moisture that happens to get on the floor as any extended contact WILL warp the wood. Colored liquids, pet urine, etc will go between the boards and could warp and discolor from inside-out. Total installation thus far: 4700 sq ft. If you remove the warped or 'odd' pieces before install, it looks AWESOME.

We installed this product seamlessly in a bedroom in 1 day. We did a nail down application. We already had 1200 sq ft experience throughout our house. We loved the product so much we continued it into 1 last bedroom. It goes together well with minimal waste. It is usable right after installation. We used it throughout our main level. I would not recommend this product for a basement. I used vinyl planks throughout the basement.

We just installed the floor a few days ago. The installation went well using a manual nailer. The floor looks great. We put it in an upstairs bedroom. We put the thicker underlayment down to decrease the noise, it seems to help.

I am a 26 years old female who did this install myself. I wanted to save money and it was my first hardwood install and it was very easy and fast. I did glue down the flooring.

Besure to check the glue to make sure it is to be used with real hardwood flooring. I bought some from Lowes and then read the fine print only to find out it was not for real wood.

This flooring a great. It installed very easily and there was almost every piece fit together smoothly. The variation of the natural wood is absolutely great. The only small issue was that the flooring dented (scratched) easily when we went to move our fridge, but we were more careful with the other appliances. Now after about one month of hard traffic (the flooring is in our kitchen with dogs, kids, etc.) and it hasn't shown anymore scratches. I would highly recommend this that anyone, especially because the price is right for a such a high quality product.

This was the best product to install for a very simple high rise apartment. Affordable and a great replacement for the carpet. I was lucky to get a good contractor who understood that my budget was important. This product provided the affordability, durability, and easy installation that kept labor costs low. If you have an empty apartment - then the contractor should be able to install it within a day. I installed this floor a year ago in my dining room and fell in love with it immediately. The color, ease of install, fact that it is a green product were immediate pros. With two people we were able to install a 14 x 14 room in one day, with the proper tools.

The only con that I have is how easily it scratches and dents. I installed the floor before I got a dog, and I knew that the dog would put an end to the floor's beauty. I have tried to cover as much as possible with a rug, but I know that when I go to sell, the scratched vs non scratched surface will be a cosmetic issue. I still really like the floor, and am very satisfied with the product, but if you have pets or children... BEWARE.

I installed the bamboo over a 17 year old plywood subfloor. 50% of the origional nails had loosened. I installed 2 inch flooring screws every 6 inches over the floor stringers through the old subfloor.Then Glued and toe nailed the bamboo to the subfloor.I rented an air driven tounge nailer. This method removed all the squeaks from the floor.
The room is very bright and clean looking now.The bamboo is absoulutly striking and compliments our existing area rug and furniture.It seems almost as if we purchased all new furnishings.
Cleaning now is quick and simple and takes half of the time that the vaccuming of the old rug took.

I was worried at first to try to install my own floor since I have never done it before. Turned out it was extremely simple to do. I installed Bamboo flooring in an office room about 100 square feet. My husband installed this floor in a guest bedroom. He is an avid DIYer but this was his first wood floor. It is beautiful. Very little waste - only one or two boards were warped. He said it was very easy to install. A number of people have commented on this floor's lack of durability, so we've tested it by dropping keys, etc. on this - haven't noticed any harm at all to the finish.

I had this installed in the foyer,living room dining room and kitchen and it looks great.A fantastic green, low-cost, hardwood choice. Looks as good as maple but a much lower price. Watch out for splinters when trimming boards to fit edges/corners - doesn't affect the board but you can get splinters in your fingers. I had to glue-down because the house is on a slab. Glue is thick and takes a bit of muscle to spread but works well. Be careful to clean up any excess glue with mineral spirits as you go along beacause it's harder to clean off when it's dry.

the wood looks great. some things we did that worked were to lay two rows first and let them set for 12 hours, start at the most narrow point in the room and work to the most open space, carried around a cloth soaked in mineral spirits and rubbed out the glue as we went, stopped after laying each couple rows and pulled board by board to tighten them up.

We installed Horizontal Natural Bamboo by Supreme Bamboo thoughout our newly built house 3-years ago. It went down quickly and without trouble. We love the light color. This Bamboo flooring is not dog friendly, as we have plenty of dog nail scratches in it. We have an open floor plan with kitchen, dinning and living room open and flooring has become dull looking. Not sure what to put on Bamboo to enhance it to it's original luster. Bedrooms, with less traffic are still beautiful and look like they were just installed. I highly recommend this flooring if you do not have dogs....maybe a small dog. And it is best to take your shoes off before walking on it.

I was skeptical about putting in bamboo, but the overall look turned out amazing. There is a lot of variability in the product, but it makes the floors look more interesting. The bamboo is very durable as the only damage I have done to them has been by missing a nail on the base board and bumping the floors with a hammer at full swing. I am very pleased with the results.

The Bamboo flooring is beautiful but quite delicate. It almost reminded me of pine wood. I could see scratches very easily when something hard would be applied to the wood. I decided to cover the main flooring with rugs. That was the best option after placing the wood in all three rooms, the hallway and all the closets. The natural color of the wood goes very well with darker furniture. Gives it a modern look to it and also Tucson like furniture goes well with it. Another great quality would be that it is easy to clean. I had some paint spill on a small surface and it easily came off and left it like new. Highly recommended.

I replaced all the carpet in my house with the natural bamboo. (living, dining, hallway & 3 bedrooms) It's beautiful. Everyone says the rooms look larger. The big dogs haven't scratched it,it's very easy to clean and very quiet to walk on. Installation was fast and easy for beginners. Used stamples not t-clamps and felt underlayment.

I absolutely loved this product! I constantly receive comments on how beautiful it turned out. It is VERY easy to install. Be sure to leave yourself the recommended gap around the perimeter. The boards expand quite a bit in hot temps.

We recently completed building our first (and last) new house. My wife was dead set on using bamboo flooring throughout the entire house. As usual she was right and it came out beautifully!The only downside I could find is that we had to look through the cases in advance to make sure that all the boards fit together correctly before securing it. Some of milling was slightly different than others and this caused the tongue and groves and finished surfaces to not matchup perfectly. I hate to even bring this up, since we only paid [$]a sq. ft. for it. It was still a really great bargain.It a great renewable resource, it has a beautiful finish and it was as easy to install as any other hardwood. Bottom line, 'you too should do bamboo.'Sorry, no pictures. My Blackberry camera doesn't do the flooring justice, so I didn't send them. Trust me, it looks super.

We put it in a living room in a condo with the accent border that really gets a lot of attention. The light color of bamboo doesn't show dust like darker colored woods. We also used the accent border on two steps that lead to the living room so people will be sure to notice that there are steps ---woods blend in and people may not see that there are steps.

None of the slats were warped which occurs sometimes with solid wood flooring. It was generally easy to install with a rented air compressor and flooring stapler. Problems arose with use of the flooring stapler, not the flooring itself. If I didn't get a staple in properly, it was difficult to remove. Sometimes, I had to hammer it in further. That increased the time to install the flooring. I ordered 7 seven boxes according to the salesman's estimate for a 160 sq. ft. floor, which turned out to be just the right amount. I used all full length slats. Not one extra piece left over. I have a bunch of short pieces, which was expected. The appearance is really nice and clean. I installed with 15# felt paper underneath.

We had to completely rebuild our house after a fire. Instead of going with carpet or wood laminate, we decided to go with this Supreme Bamboo. The floors look fabulous and cleaning is a dream. With seven kids, I wanted something that could stand up to heavy wear and tear. It's six months later and the floors still look wonderful.

I don't know if I can answer the pros and cons until I have a solid 6 months with the floors. But our house is not painted and still in boxes, and every person that walks in makes a "wow" and says "cool, this is bamboo? It looks great!" And the conversation goes too, "I love dark floors, but this blonde color is awesome, it makes the house look so big." (its only 1,078sqft.) We put bamboo in 750 of it.

It is easy to install and looks beautiful. We have other hardwood in our house, but this is superior. Even though it is not a match, it is a great contrast. We plan to complete the remainder of the bedrooms in this wood. I love that it is eco friendly as well.

I love the look and the feel of bamboo. I have small rooms in my house and it really brightened them up and they are very very easy to clean. The one thing that I do not like about them is that I have 2 dogs. Both not very big one 5 lbs and one 30 lbs. they have left claw marks across my bedroom floor just from walking across it.

We used the product in our living room after having Berber carpet in there. We couldn't wait to get rid of that carpet. The color is wonderful, we already have a few scratches from our dog, but that's to be expected. We love it and would recommend it!

Husband and I installed this product in two bedrooms. It went in in about 5 hours per room once all the prep stuff was done. I LOVE the look of the product. It is softer than I thought it would be. The kids have scratched it in a couple places all ready. One other thought...I would give it a full 7 days to acclimate to your house. We put one room after 5 days, and one after 7 days, and found that the first room warped slightly. You can't see it but you can feel it when vacuuming.

My husband and I LOVE bamboo. We had it in our old house and wanted it again. In our old home, the installation was nail in. Here in Alabama, we are on a concrete slab and had to glue it in. YUCK! What a messy, time consuming project. And if you get adhesive on the flooring - forget about it... You can remove it all day long, but, it leaves a dull spot on the floor board and it looks "dirty". This flooring also had a HUGE color variation from box to box, so, the floor looks "choppy". Best to pay a little more and buy better bamboo. We also bought the Silk Road bamboo and it is PERFECT.

I got the [$] horizontal natural bamboo for my 3 bedrooms upstairs. The cost was very reasonable however I do noticed that some color variation with darker wood. I hired a professional to tackle this 600sq ft job. It took them 2 days to complete. The finish product looked clean and bright. The only problem that I found after one month is that the gap b/n boards got bigger. I already had the bamboo in my house for 1 week prior to installation.

We installed this flooring about two years ago in two guest bedrooms. It has held up well and looks beautiful. We did scratch it in one area during the first few weeks (wheels from a trundle bed). We've been more careful about the wheels and haven't had any more bad scratches. The floor never looks dirty and is very easy to clean. We have high humidity here, but it's no problem for the floor.

Any wood flooring is best and easiest to install when it is attached to a plywood floor. This floor was the easiest floor I have ever installed, but it was nailed to a plywood floor. The key is to begin at the furthest point from the room entrance, re-use as many shorter lengths as possible, and have the correct tools...and the job is simple! Be aware that dropping anything on the floor, that is harder than the bamboo, will put a dent in the floor. Using this product in a high traffic-high use area may not be a good idea.

We purchased a student-occupied apartment complex near a state university which had been terribly neglected.

The apartments have been renewed and are fresher and cleaner than before.

After replacing subfloors in some of the units, we decided to replaced the worn out carpets with the bamboo flooring. We have used the bamboo in 5 apartments and so far, the apartments rent quickly due to the look!

Our only problem, is when advertising an apartment that still had carpeting in good condition; we could lease it until all the other bamboo floored apartment had been leased. Leaving just the one with carpeting open for lease, it finally had a tenant. We realized after that problem, that replacing all the carpeting is the way to go.

My wife and I had a professional carpenter install the bamboo wood flooring. It went in very easily. We debated whether to install bamboo but are glad that we did. I would recommend this product to be installed anyplace in the house except perhaps for the kitchen. Great product!

We purchased this bamboo flooring for my daughter's bedroom, and we love it! My brother-in-law and a couple of friends installed quickly. It looks great and cleans easily. I put this down in our main bathroom with laundry. It is easy to clean and beautiful. Where it butts up to the tub, I sealed the cut edges with clear water-resistant sealant and so far it seems impervious to water (and we are not too careful about it). We like it so much we are extending it into our bedroom.

I purchased this product for my family room which is roughly a little under 400 sq feet. I already have bamboo flooring in my kitchen by another manufacturer, but it looks exactly the same. I paid almost a whole dollar or more LESS for this flooring from LL than the competitor I used for the kitchen. I have done laminate from the Utopia laminate collection for the upstairs by myself (34 yr old female) for my son and daughter's rooms and main hallway. I, with the help of my friend were able to install this on 7/13/2009 and started at 12 noon and we finished around 11pm. These floors are gorgeous!!! The brightness is absolutely fantastic and there were NO warped boards that we came across out of a lot of 17, 6 of which I still have left over and plan to use to do my master bedroom. I could not believe how easily this floor went down. My friend did the cuts and I did the nailing. There were no splintering of the wood and along the edges were we couldn't use the floor nailer, we used the brad nailer which worked flawlessly. I'm so pleased with the ease of this product I would buy it again in a heartbeat! Thanks LL for providing once again a fantastic product! I've included pics of the process and the finished floor, as I have yet to do the base moulding. I would highly recommend this product to anyone considering installing bamboo. The price was great. My only concern was that it seems to perhaps scratch somewhat easily, but because of the lightness, you really can't tell. I moved my couch which has some staples in the bottom and it made small scratches, but overall, the flooring is superb!

This product is great for the price! We recently restored all(but one)of the original oak floors in my 100 year old house... not being able to save the kitchen floor, we chose Bamboo.... it installed with ease and looks amazing! We do notice scratches from our 50pd Golden's nails. Only in one spot... the high wear spot around the island when he's running through(at full speed)to go POTTIE...OUTSIDE... POTTIE!! And its really not that noticeable.... but stands out when mopping. We liked the bamboo floor so much.... we decided to do the half bath too!!

The floor went in perfectly. Out of 11 boxes I only had about 5 boards that I couldn't put down as a whole. I ended up using them for starter or ending pieces. We are planning on putting the same floor in the master bedroom. I do have to say the floor does scratch easily but with the light color you hardly notice it.

I am really happy with this product overall but I didn't check the sheen on the boards. I mixed color from 3 boxes as instructed and now it's down I see that one box in the whole job was totally flat finished, no sheen at all. It stands out amongst the others and reflects light differently and looks very odd and zebra striped.
They won't tell me how to fix it, just keep saying that variations are normal.
So, buyer beware, look before you install.

Husband and I installed ourselves- not too hard, but we recommend doing a lot of research if doing yourself! We laid about 500 square feet in 6 days. The color is beautiful- ours has a lot of color variation which we love. It does scratch and dent easily. Between dogs and kids, the floors are taking a beating. It is hard to see unless you are at the right angle, but still disappointing to see how easily they dent and scratch. We put the floors in all the bedrooms and the living room. Overall, the price is great and we do love the look. If we were to be in this house for a long time, we would make a different choice; but for a starter home it's a great choice!

Having bamboo flooring is great. If you are concerned about denting or scratching. Well, that can happen with the bamboo, but the flooring is very durable. Yes, you might see dents or some scratching but very little. I like the worn look and the natural grass of bamboo, it's very durable.

I had never seen a bamboo floor done and it came out better than my wildest expectations!! Not one piece of wood was warped or unusable. The price was exceptional. Not the easiest job in the world but totally worth it! I comparison shopped every home improvement store in the area and Lumber Liquidators had the best price and the most knowledgeable helpful staff.

Looks great!! It is a softer wood so it does scratch easier but we have a big dog and the floor looks great. We had an installer come out who was phenomenal!! I am very pleased with the product and the installation!

Be sure you always let natural/real wood breathe out of the carton in the environment it will be in for 3-5 days! We did not know that, and had to reschedule installers that got us started! The flooring is beautiful, just a little more "yellow" or "blonder" in a larger area than what we first wanted - but looks gorgeous!

This was the first time we have ever installed flooring. It went great. This bamboo is super easy to install and looks so nice when it's done. We chose the "natural" color and it makes the space look so much larger than the carpet did.
I was expecting the flooring to scratch REALLY easily since it is in the lower price range of flooring. I'm excited to say it's not as bad as I thought. It will dent if you drop something on it, but our dog hasn't made one mark in it yet. Even if you do get scratches/dents the grain seems to hide any imperfections very well.

The bamboo turned out really well in the living area. I am a teacher and myself and another teacher help with the construction of a house which the students build. The students chose to do bamboo flooring this year and the students helped to install it. It would have been nice to have different size lengths to vary a little more but the end result was very nice. We used hardwood maple last year from lumber liquidators and it was gorgeous. I think lumber liquidators does a great job.

I love the look of the natural bamboo. It really lights up an otherwise dark room and makes it look like grown ups live there. (We had an unfinished concrete slab in there after we pulled up the nasty, animal-soiled carpet.) You have to be careful with bamboo in high traffic areas. If you bring pebbles in on your boot cleats you're going to scratch it. Four dogs play fighting on the stuff isn't good for it either.
