I installed 1250 sqft of this in January. At 5/8" it's in between the nailer shoes I had, so I had to be careful placing the nailer when installing. The wood was easy to fit together and is very warp and crack resistant. Durability over 5 months is very good and I have no worries about getting water on the floor. My only real complaint is that the stain is not deep enough. If the strands fray at edges, you'll need a color-matched stain to touch up after installation. They don't include that with the flooring. But this is at installation and I haven't had problems since. Cleaning the floor is a snap.

Best thing about this is that it's durable, beautiful, and much better than engineered flooring at about the same price.

The product arrived all boxed up in great condition and looked even better when I got everything out. I was installing on a slab that is only a few months old so decided to use the moisture barrier to protect myself and it was worth it and relatively easy working with three people - one pouring, two spreading.

The install was a little tougher, but that was compounded by the fact that I was working alone. It took a while to get a hang on spreading the glue, which can get everywhere and is really tough to get off. Just a tip - clean the wood as you go, otherwise you get really tough to remove spots afterwards. For cleaning your hands and the floor I recommend pure acetone (can find at grocery store for $0.99 a bottle).

Product has been down for a month now and still looks beautiful. Dark color does shore more dirt than a lighter floor, but it is totally worth it. Great experience, great value - the money I saved over the contractor bid left me enough money to get granite countertops!

This bamboo flooring makes the perfect accent wall behind the vanity in my daughter's bathroom. It makes the room feel luxurious and spa like. Everyone who has seen it wants to do the same in their bathrooms.

I had this installed by a contractor over Insulayment (also sold by Lumber Liquidators). Contractor said about 5% of the planks had some minor defects (dents/scratches in planks, but they were completely covered by the plastic so we used them in corners or closets). Looks stunning, but much softer than oak or maple. My new refrigerator rollers dented it when it was rolled into place. Furniture on rollers will dent it. Go with felt pads since these will distribute the weight and glide well on it.

My flooring has been in place about 10 months, and an area next to a sunny spot has faded BADLY. This area is next to sliding deck doors, and gets sunlight about 5 hours per day. The chocolate color has faded to a dark aged oak color. The warranty does not address color changes. I would not recommend this dark bamboo in areas that receive a lot of sun.

That said, it is very easy to keep clean. Yes, the dark color shows dust easily, and the gloss shows smudges easily, but I don't have kids or pets. I vacuum, then use a Swiffer to clean.

Floor is stunning -- definately looks amazing -- baboo is wonderful to work with and it does scratch easly so using - this dark tone in a bedroom or dining room would be best. Incredible shine on this floor - recommend the dark tones for elegance.

It looks really good on the floor, but is hard to keep clean because dust shows easily on the dark color. We are happy though.

we love the look but jury is still out on durability and finding the right product to clean with. we liked the look in our living room and decided to do the connecting dinning room . the second order of flooring was a very noticebly different in color and finish. we hid the difference by adding a boarder of the carbonized twisted bamboo to break the connection from the living room (brown and matte finish) to the dinning room ( more red and gloss finish) no sure if i would reccommend the flooring

Used this product in the dining room.. Looks awesome! I recommend two people for a glue down install.. Start at 10 in the morning finish by 5:30. Cleanup towels work but will take the finish off somewhat... Avoid gluedown if possibe (expensive and timely) vapor barrier and glue.

This is a wonderful dark, rich floor. It looks darker than it is, but it's gives a great warm home feeling. Great touch to our house!

I installed this directly over concrete (that already had a moisture barrier) so it had to be glued down. This was a little tougher to do than nailing, but it has been in for over a week now and nothing seems to have shifted and it feels very solid.

The floor looks great and did clean up pretty well from the glue that inevitably got on it during installation. It is too soon to tell how it will hold up to the normal wear and tear of kitchen traffic, but so far so good!

My wife and I used the Great Silk Road Bamboo flooring in our new home. With dogs and a new baby on the way we wanted something that looked great and would last. Every box (16) had NO flaws, Perfect! Easy to install (first timer) and would do it all over again.

The color of this floor is so rich. It looks much more expensive than it costs. My brother installed it, he is a carpenter. He said it was a little weird to cut. Some of the edges needed to be sanded. It is in a kids room and so far no scratches, we'll see.
