I put cork in my family room. It has a very homey, casual feel. The instructions were great. I was very happy with everything about the cork.
Comments about Lisbon Cork Cassatt Cork:
Expect a soft surface that shows impressions from furniture.
Always about 10% damaged pieces when picked up. Been willing to work with me on replacements though.

Comments about Lisbon Cork Cassatt Cork:
We replaced carpeting in the living room, dining room, office and hallways. It went down easily and it looks great, however, the surface is scratching much worse than we anticipated. We have 3 small and medium dogs and most folks we talked to said that we wouldn't notice. We do. And we put 3 seal coats on the cork as a precaution.

Comments about Lisbon Cork Cassatt Cork:
It's especially practical when laid over radiant heat.
It seems very susceptible to marring. It's the most comfortable "hardwood" ever tried, second only to plush carpeting.

Comments about Lisbon Cork Cassatt Cork:
This is a wonderful product. I completed a home office and two basement bedrooms using this product. The color works well with my homes original hardwood floors. I was initially worried that the patchwork type patter would appear to busy, but it is perfect and the pattern disguises the joints. I did put two coats of poly on as directed, but wonder if it was really necessary - though it does have a nice shine now. I wanted cork as it is a "green" product, comforable under foot and has great sound absorption. I plan to do a small hallway, another bedroom, my family room and finally kitchen in cork in the future.

Comments about Lisbon Cork Cassatt Cork:
I have installed the cork flooring from door to door to replace ceramic tile. It has warmed up the appearance of the rooms, is so easy to keep clean, and is softer to the feet. If sealed it is practical even in kitchen areas. Be sure to add felt pads to all furniture to avoid serious denting and scratching. The grand piano had broken the tile with its sharp little feet. Heavy duty furniture cups have prevented that with the cork.
Flooring use throuhout active living area.

I put this floor in our first floor bathroom/laundry room. I wanted to make it look nice since guests will use this bathroom, and boy did this floor do the trick. It is gorgeous and very unique. My husband was sceptical about using cork originally, but now he loves it.

Love the color and style, so different than the traditional wood floor, but be sure to apply the 3 coats of poly to reduce scratching and impressions from furniture. Does provide soft feel for walking on and reduces noise in room.

We were looking for something to replace the carpet in my son's bedroom. I always wanted to try cork, my son liked it, it wasn't too expensive, and my 14 year old son wanted to help install whatever we chose. Therefore, I chose cork.
So far we're happy with the floor. Obviously you have to be careful not to damage the floor, but was very easy to install, finish, it's nice under foot (warm and soft), and best overall, we have memories of putting down his floor together. He really was a huge help in doing so.

Comments about Lisbon Cork Cassatt Cork:
Great product, fantastic color/design.
I researched cork flooring for about 6 months before I went with this item. I was going to go "historically correct" for our 1955 Atomic Ranch and lay bare-cork tiles or roll-out cork, but this stuff looks great, so for price and ease of installation it can't be beat.
To the people remarking about scratches from dragging appliances across the floor... duh? I do wonder though if they sealed the floors, as I have been quite surprised (pleased) with the durability of our cork. If you don't want to rent a dolly (which can still leave tracks), I suggest sliding several sturdy sheets of cardboard under your appliances before sliding them.
We have our cork in the kitchen and entrance, and we own a 100 pound Doberman. The floors have been in for over a year, and marks are minimal (and well masked by the pattern of this cork).
It is a softer material than hard wood, but that's why it's so great in the kitchen and bath.

Comments about Lisbon Cork Cassatt Cork:
After considering ceramic tile to replace hardwood for kitchen remodel, friend recommended cork for comfort, durability, and sustainability. I can add warmth underfoot, quiet, easy to clean and very easy to install right over the existing hardwood floor. Took 2 of us one day for about 300 square feet with many cuts for cabinet bases and recessed appliance areas. Many positive comments from friends.I'm planning on installing more of same over living room hardwoods.

Comments about Lisbon Cork Cassatt Cork:
We put this in our kitchen because it is warmer to the touch than tile, goes over radiant floor heat, and is easier on the legs when you stand in the kitchen alot, as I do. Installation is easy, especially if you make yourself a notched tool to tap the tiles together with and no underlayment is necessary on a wood subfloor. We did damage the tile in places by dragging the range and fridge across it a few times during installation. Get a good dolly and be aware that the cozy feeling underfoot comes at a price: this flooring is relatively soft, dents easily and can tear. Fortunately any slight damage doesn't show much due to the cork patterns. Cork makes sense and looks great--I don't know why it isn't more popular. Maybe there's not enough profit in it?

This was my first attempt at installing click flooring. I found it extremely easy and actually fun to install. I installed it in my bathroom which isn't necessarily one of the recommended places to use it but I followed it up with 3 coats of poly and have had no problems. It looks great. The look and texture also add a nice warmth to the bathroom. I'll be looking forward to doing more rooms of this in the future.[...]

Product was easy to install and is seamless in its look. Great green alternative to vinyl flooring with an interesting twist to look of hardwood flooring and more comfort then tile. Will definitely add warmth to your space. I would highly recommend this product [...] you can't beat it!
