approx. 25% of boards had small holes poked through veneer (not natural part of bark).
I was able to save those for inconspicuous areas.

This is warm on my feet no matter how cool the rest of the house is. looks great and feels soft under foot. has a learning curve but when you tap it together the piece will raise up slightly then when you feel the click, it is in place. cover with water soluable polyurithane and it looks great but be careful to let dry for several days or any water will soften up the poly and turn it white until it drys again. I expected easy denting when i first got it but now I love it better than hardwood floors all around for looks, comfort, warmth and something diffrent. friends are amazed when they see it and other say "what are you talking about with cork, I never heard about it. cleans up great with a damp mop with murphys oil soap. Get green!

The flooring is MUCH darker than shown on the website! Hence, every bit of dust and dirt shows up amazingly well. You'll be doing a lot of dry mopping to keep it clean. Installed fairly easily. Finished with 4 coats of Varathane satin finish. Put it in our kitchen and noticed that any drops of water cause a white hazy mark on the polyurethane finish. It would probably be better in a room that's not used a lot. I truly wish the color matched the color shown on the website as this makes our kitchen appear dark and, as I said, requires constant cleaning. It is beautiful flooring but I would rather have a different color.
