This is a beautiful floor. I installed this in our master bedroom. The color and the patterning of the floor is very appealing. I did use 2 coats of poly on the floors to seal the seams. (this was recomended and many websties for cork flooring). It was very easy to install

Comments about Lisbon Cork Porto Cork:

This was/is a great product to use on my basement floor. It looks great, easy to install (600+sq. ft.) and cleans easily. Warm on the feet. It settles more when walked on. Doesn't feel like a laminate. I would recommend a very good underlayment. It's fairly durable but can be scratched and chunks removed (small) if you drop a heavy object with a sharp corner. Install it yourself and save!

Comments about Lisbon Cork Porto Cork:

Used this in a large game room on the 2nd floor of our home. I was a bit worried about abrasion damage but save a mark or two it still looks great after nearly three years. Be smart about dragging stuff across it but otherwise just put it down, seal it as directed and you'll love it. I have an engineered maple floor in my office that hasn't held up as well!

I found that it did not snap securely together, necessitating some gluing of the seams. This definitely increased the time required to install it. Still, I love the look and feel of this! Thinking of doing another 400 sq ft in another year or two.

Comments about Lisbon Cork Porto Cork:

The finished product looks just great and it's very comfortable on the feet. We installed during the summer, but are expecting this to floor to be warm in the winter. The important thing is to put at least 2 coatings of water-based polyurethane over the whole floor after the install in order to seal the seams and avoid any future spillage absorption (read the poly instructions). The flooring went in fairly easy. It's holding up very well after 3 months of wear - no issues.
