Never installed laminates or hardwoods before, but this product made it very easy. Color and variation was high for most of our boxes (500 sf), but one or two boxes had a lot of plain blond color. Overall, with the amount of material we had, we were able to create a beautiful variation across the floor. So far the floors havent scratched (only in one week or so) with two big rambuncious dogs and three cats with claws. Tips: Try to move from right to left across your floor, when new flooring in front of you. Make sure to level your floor with self leveler even if it seems the floors are fairly flat. Our slab seemed quite flat, but as we were installing any small dips or raises caused the clicking to be very difficult. Also any dips makes the floor dip when you walk on it which makes me wonder how long it will take for those boards to start popping up. If boards dont seem to be clicking in, make sure any little piece of wood or mdf is cleared out including any smooshed edges or tabs. If board still doesnt want to go in, try a different board. For some reason, some boards just dont work in certain places. Just keep trying...but dont smash the boards together! 500 sf of difficult kitchen and hallway with easy living room area took approximately 2.5 days of work.

Took less than 1 day to install in a 12 X 11 room. This included moving furniture from one side to the other as we installed. Very easy
