Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3" Brazilian Mesquite Flooring Odd Lot:
I had already installed about 1100 sf of Brazilian Mesquite in my home. After completing all but two of the bedrooms I decided to do those two as well. I ran just short of material, oops, so I had to purchase two more boxes. As luck would have it there were some 'odd lot' boxes available. I bought two, and they were just as high quality as all of the previous. I am totally satisfied with the quality and look. The wood is a little softer than some of the really hard woods, but that makes it a little easier to cut and work with and it still wears very well. As a licensed Architect, I can be very critical of products I use, and I would have no reservations in specifying this same product for use in my clients projects.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3" Brazilian Mesquite Flooring Odd Lot:
We repaced carpet with pre finsihed wood in two bedrooms that we connected with a pocket door. The floors look beautiful, and we will use this color again. There are imperfections in surface finish and some pieces not useable due to splinters. Bad news is after one week, we notice slight edges (sock catchers)from cupping. Very small, but noticeable with close examination. Don't know if it's a pre or post installation defect, but didn't notice it before. If it continues at this rate we'll have to take it up. Hopefully it's done, because it's OK since it's so slight so far. We did keep in in the room for 10 days before laying it. Again, the overall look is beautiful, and we want to use it in a larger bedroom, although we may opt for the "select" instead of seconds IF that would ensure a more precise overall surface and no gouges, splinters, or finish defects. We may be expecting too much from a pre-finished floor, this is our first one. Wife can't take the smell of finishing products so this is our only wood floor option. For those with similar sensitivites, this is the way to go, sinch laminates also outgas chemicals.
