Soft-wood= BEAUTIFUL but SOFT

I installed this product myself with advice from LL salespeople. Yellow foam over 3/4"T&G OSB subfloor. I floated it with no nails just used Titebond waterproof wood glue in the grooves of all the boards. I acclamated the product for 7 days, then began installing 5-6 feet wide sections a day. I used 5 gallon buckets filled with water and lidded as weight to make sure the glue dried with the product flat against the subfloor.I reccommend this project to any weekend warrior that is capable of changing their own oil.

The floor went down very easy and looks great. I opened a box or two quite awhile ago and the material was a little dried out with many splits when I went to install. The wrapped boxes were much better. This flooring is soft (like all pine) and scratches easy, but should be expected. Overall a great product for the price. If you're looking for the "lodge" look like I was, this is a great product. It looks great.
