So far nothing is good about it except the wood looks good. But considering the installation is almost impossible big deal.

We had to purchase 4 extra boxes due to the knots in the wood. The knots were not filled correctly, or were so large that it looked bad. Some of the boxes were perfect and only a few pieces were set aside. Some boxes were so bad, only a few pieces could be used.

I didn't expect the end result to look so professional. It snapped together perfectly. If you cut a piece for the end of each row and then use the remainder to start the next (takes a little planning), your waste is almost zero.

One unique thing I really liked was the various lengths of the boards. It allowed for very little waste - great!

Service & Delivery comments:

My one & only complaint about this purchase had to do with my return.
I picked up 9 boxes, 3 packages of underlayment and 3 transitional pieces myself - all were in stock (no special order needed). I finished the job and had 1 box (unopened) and 1 transitional piece leftover. I returned them and received a credit. However, the credit was "short" by a 20% restocking fee. I can't understand why I was assessed a full 20% fee for returning something that was in stock. It took the employee one trip (carried it himself) back to the warehouse to put it back on the (stock) pile. The dollar amount I paid for that was ridiculous.

Had this floor professionally installed in or Living/Great room 3 years ago. (I am physically challenged) It looks like the day it was installed. Also, it is easy to care for. I thank the installers for insisting that it totally floats. It is installed on a concrete slab on grade. We are in the process of having this same flooring put in two bed rooms.

We glued it down to the subfloor. It took a little extra time during installation but it's very solid. We need to see how it goes through the change of seasons here in Michigan.

This really was a Quick clic installation, unlike some laminates and other products, there is no "block and bar needed" no struggling to get it in. I never laid a floor before and had it done in a day, but that was because my 2yr old was wth me "trying to help". I love the look and finsih on it, we have a big Lab and so far so good on the scratch resistance on it also.
