RIO VERDE - 3/4" x 5" Select Brazilian Cherry Prefinished Solid Flooring- Builder's Grade - 10 Year WarrantyBolivian Rosewood is a great flooring choice if you are looking for uniqueness and elegance. It ranges from light to medium brown with pink and reddish tones and some occasional black striping. It is an extremely hard wood that performs very well in both homes and high-traffic business areas. WHY HARDWOOD AND NOT OTHER FLOORING OPTIONS?Testing by leading allergists shows that wood flooring provides homes with a substantially healthier environment than homes with other types of flooring. Why?Because bacteria, dust and dirt do not become embedded in wood flooring as they do in carpeting.Hardwood floors trap far less pollen, mites and mold than many flooring alternatives, and they do not harbor animal dander.A birthday cake without frosting? That's a floor without matching trim and molding.Click here to find our extensive selection of natural & stained trims and moldings so that you can match wood species to your new floor.(Who else can do that?)Place your order through our web site, visit your local store, or call us at 1-800-HARDWOOD with your all your questions and/or concerns. We will be glad to help you select your new flooring!

Bottom Line:

Comments about Rio Verde 3/4" x 5" Bolivian Rosewood:

Poor milling, splits, all not the same width, a few finish issues all of which required more time for installation. After all the hassle, the floor looks good, not perfect.

Service & Delivery comments:

The delivery was not prompt. The delivery was supposed to come by rail but there was not enough product at the warehouse back east and nobody told me. I had to go to the local LL store several times and demand delivery which eventually came from LA. LL wanted a delivery charge but later arranged for free delivery (as per the purchase contract)more than a month after the purchase. How could I recommend this co to a friend.
