The employees in the Las Vegas store were VERY helpful and made all the difference! A competitor with very aggressive pricing was almost next door to Lumber Liquidators, but LL got my business due to the enthusiasm, professionalism, and helpfulness of the employees in the Las Vegas store. They even carried out my items right to my truck!

This flooring is EXCELLENT for concrete slabs (single-story homes). It is a bit noisy when walked on, but hey, it's only 6mm! Thicker flooring used in our previous home was definitely much quieter, but I could have also used some sound deadening material underneath to reduce noise. It's not an issue, but I had to find something negative to say about it.

Overall, it is an excellent value. I had 1200+ sqft of flooring to install in our new single-story home in only 3 days, and this flooring went in EASILY in those 3 days. It is high-quality, very durable, looks great, easy to install, easy to cut with both table saws & compound miters, and an excellent value for the money.

I highly recommend this product, even though I bought it on clearance. I would definitely look for this product & manufacturer again if I needed to install any more laminate flooring.

Its value far exceeds what I paid for it!

I used it in a second bedroom with little traffic. Thought I could get away with a less expensive item. I was wrong. Many of the edges have chipped or flaked off the finish coat, leaving just the press board behind.

this stuff is great with an even better price, i caught it on sale and did a bedroom for about $100. Used the Lumber Liquidators foam underlayment (which was cheaper than [...]) and it worked well. The pattern is small so it can get kinda busy in a larger room, so keep that in mind. Great flooring and would go back again and again.

This flooring is a lot lighter than the flooring we removed. As we were installing we noticed the boards chipped very easily and there were a lot of damaged boards in the boxes. This made install a little harder making sure none of the corners were damaged. The locking grooves had to be cleaned out on a lot of boards. The flooring was just a lower quality. But for the price I paid its better then I expected. Once installed it looks very good.

Oh, one more thing keep water away from the floor. It will bubble up at the seams. Even the smallest water will cause problems

this was my second install for laminate. I could not pass up the [$] cost for my bedroom. I like the look but the other utopia laminatate was made better and was easier to install. I am not sorry I purchased this because now my bedroom looks wonderful and I was able to make the purchase without a second thought. I would recommend it, but I like the utopia better.I will go back to the Utopia when I do my second bedroom. I can't believe how clean and easy to keep this is, I have always had carpet, but will not every go back. I will find a really nice throw rug for the bedroom, but i love the clean open look of laminate that looks like a wood floor.

although the instructions were not very good this product is still very easy to install 1st bedroom we did was a 15ft x 16ft and it took 7 hours total this includes removal of all furniture as well as the existing carpet, pad, tack strips and cleaning the floor before we started the actual install, then the install and return of all bedroom furniture!!, if you are looking as I was for a low cost investment that looks great, this is it!!

Overall, the product installed fairly easily and finished off well. Two of the 26 boxes I used were junk. The tabs split in half and got wedged between other boards. I threw out some of the pieces, others I was able to clean out and reinstall.

I am using this floor in a weekend Country Cottage that my Dad and I are building. My son, me and my Dad spent 2 1/2 days and laid 4 rooms.... it looks beautiful. I will not use it in my bathrooms though as it is not water resistant. I used cork underneath and I would highly recommend it for a quiet walk across the floor. Pretty simple to install . Far better quality than the 49 cents I paid for it!

I would recommend this product for anywhere that you want a room to look nice, but do not have high expectations for longevity. We used it for a rental property and I'd do that again.

Locking the pieces together was not as easy as others made it out to be. Have to be VERY careful not to damage any of the edges, otherwise you will definitely see it.

As a first time laminate installer, I installed this product (~200 sq ft) while my husband was away for the weekend in our bedroom. About half of the time was spent preparing the room: ripping out carpet/padding, removing tack strips, and removing or hammering in staples from the padding. I ended up stapling the underlayment down because the tape did not work at all. The first row went in easily. I had difficulty getting tight end joints with the second row while using the tapping block which became very frustrating. Eventually I changed my technique - I would first click the end of the board into the previous board (which is already laid) with the long edge as close as possible to the board in the previous row and then tilt up the board (as well as the others in the row) until it clicked in. (This is actually how the instructions included show how to do it - but not how the internet videos I watched showed). Once I got the technique down installation became much easier and faster. I would recommend, especially if you are installing by yourself, to measure the length of your last board after you install your first board. Then do all of your cuts at once so the beginning and end pieces add up to the length of that board, making sure to keep the pairs together, and alternate the short starting boards with full length boards. You would then be able to very quickly install, only needing to make cuts to go around vents, etc. Also, I installed my boards parallel to the doorways starting on the opposite side of the room which resulted with difficult cuts around the door jams. It may help to either start at the door jam or run the boards perpendicular to the doorways.
I did not use the spacing blocks because there was space under our molding, and I did not have great results with the tapping block. I recommend buying the the installation kit because I did end up using the bar on the final row of boards to get tight joints.

I would say the product just makes it to the "OK" rating. It looks OK when completed with a few major issues.

First have to be extremely careful when joining the "planks" together as they are VERY easy to break. Trust me on this one nothing is more frustrating than making a difficult series of cuts (around heating/cooling vents and doorways) only to have the piece break when fitting it with the ajoining piece.

Along with the ease of breaking the joints the surface is equally easy to chip during assembly. It is again quite frustrating to join to pieces together only to have the surface develop a major chip when clicking the pieces together.

The high number of pieces broken both in box and during assembly required the purchase of a couple of additional boxes to fully complete the job. This added to the net/net cost per square foot.

I am just barely satisfied with the results and I will purchase from Lumber Liquidators again but I will pony up the extra $ in hopes of moving up in quality and reducing breakage

My husband and I installed 600 sq feet in a little less than 6 hours (that included prep time). It was our first time, it went in easy and smooth and NO MORE CARPET!! It was a great experience, they look wonderful and would definitely recommend the floors, especially with kids and pets. I have already recommended them to my aunt and mother for their rooms. Can't beat the price - stays cleaner and lasts longer and less than 1/2 the price of carpet.

I purchased this floor to install in a family cottage which is used only in the summer. I've used both high grade and inexpensive laminates before and was initially skeptical given that this was the least expensive (per sq foot) I had ever used. Turns out the floor was better designed (I install all my floors myself) and went together significantly better than other inexpensive floors I've used. Overall fit and finish looks nice.

I would recommend it for a low traffic area such as a bedroom as I doubt it will have the long term strength to withstand the abuse of high traffic like a kitchen, but only time will tell, it has already proven me wrong once.

I bought my house in Sept 08 and it needed new flooring, but I thought I couldn't afford it. Due to an emergency in Jan 2010, I had to completely remove all flooring in my house. I bought 550sq ft for a family room and front room. I was suprised with a textured finish on the laminate. I only did my family room after doubting the durability after I got it home. I installed fairly easily for a first-timer, and waited to see what happened next. I had company over and 2 dogs, and it held up great! I was very pleased! The textured finish sounds a little funny when walking on it without shoes, but it really helps the durability factor with pets. Now I have to finish the rest of the house, and can't wait to see the results!

I used this product to finish what someone else already had started, it is not the same brand but it is the closest color and pattern to what was there before. This is a great product that is easy to work with, very economical product over real wood. Easier to maintain than real wood.
Problem that I found with this product was that some of the boxes did have dent at the edges, about 20%, I used those along the edges and closets of the two rooms I did that were about 10x12 and 12x15.

I installed this in my workshop. For the price [$] you can't beat this. It is very easy to install. At first, I was worried that the tabs might be break easily (you never know with a bargain product), but I didn't have any issues. Will it hold up? No idea yet, but so far I've moved a bunch of heavy tools and it hasn't left a mark.The only negative is that the instructions were extremely brief. That's not really a problem if you've installed laminate before, but a first timer could use some more help.

I put this product in my teenagers bedroom she suffers from severe allergies so the carpet had to go,it looks really good and took about 6 hours to install we used almost 160 square feet with very little waste,I was concerned about how thin it was and would it be durable enough it has now been a few weeks and it is standing up beautifully.

We put the floor in a room with a dual purpose. I sew there and my husband works on his guns. He refinishes stocks and works on the mechanics. He is a hunter and its great for him to have a place to work in the same area but separate from where I am sewing. Since its easy to clean, the lint and sewing debris are easy to clean up.

I installed this product in the whole house of my rental property (except bathrooms). I installed this myself, without much trouble. It took about 4 or 5 hours to lay down the flooring in a 10x12 room. I bought the install kit (not the bucket) - you will need the special bar and block to keep your hammer from damaging the laminate.

I used the blue foam underlayment as well. It is hard to tell if this stuff provides sound help, moisture protection or insulative help (because I did not try without), but it does help to overcome small imperfections in the flooring below. For the low cost of the product, this seemed worth it for all the potential benefits. I installed the blue foam as I was going - I put down one strip of foam and then 4 strips of flooring, then added more foam etc.

Also, this is a floating system. It tends to move around as you are trying to assemble it - this can be frustrating. The blue foam underlayment can move as well. This is what I did. I stapled the foam down at the edges/walls - tape comes with the foam for joining foam pieces together. Instructions call for spacers at the walls for expansion room, but whenever I started clicking the flooring together, the spacers would fall out of place. I let them fall out so I could push (i.e. click together)the pices while they bear against the wall. Then after I assembled a whole row of planks I would push the assembled floor back into position before I started the next row.

The only hard part was around the doors, and you may want to consider a pro installer depending on your situation. My house already had the door and baseboard trim in place, so I had to cut door molding at the bootom with a reciprcating saw so the flooring would go under the molding instead of butting up against it. However the door molding was not fastened very well, and it can loose while I was cutting it

I would also mention that the part of the room where you assemble the final row of planks can be tricky, or to put it another way, where you start is important. I started at the plain wall and ended at the door, and then I had trouble getting the flooring under the door molding. If I had started at the door side of the room it would have been much easier.

I just helped my Uncle install this flooring in my bedroom and it looks awesome! It took us about 2 1/2 hours with my 3 year old helping us. (my bedroom is less than 200 sq. ft.) Its very easy to clean and marks from furniture rub right off. The price was unbelievable so this flooring will be in the whole downstairs of our home. Great with kids too, it can withstand all the toys and things kids do to floor. The only thing I would say would be a con would be you have to make sure the tongue and grooves are perfectly straight, but once you get the hang of it, its easy!

I bought 110sq/ft of this item to install around my bar. The laminate floating floor went in perfectly and it looks great. If you have heavy foot traffic and/or pets this may not be for you. Since it is only 6mm it can easily damage in high traffic areas.

Price was outstanding-this product made it so easy to redo the living/dining room. I wanted the beech color to match the flooring in my kitchen & it was a perfect fit and match. A bonus is watching the cats run & slide like cartoon characters from one end of the room to the other. Recommend putting fish tanks and heavy bookcases in other areas of home as it isn't thick enough to support super heavy furniture items.

I installed my own laminated floor,
Them My brother wanted to put authentic wood floors in his master bedroom and the kids rooms.
Laminated was easier, but we had a GREAT experience putting the Wood floors down.
