Instead of carpet, I installed this product in one of four apartmant units. Each of my other tenants have expressed how jealous they are. It really looks great!

Put it in my living room over a linoleum flooring and it looks pretty good. Not done yet, but should be pretty good. Should have gone with a thicker wood. 6mm is pretty thin.

if you can't afford real wood, this is a great looking alternative with diy installation and high durability... i have had it for over 4 years now and not one scratch even in high traffic areas!

The biggest complaint I have is that a good sealant would benefit this laminate floor. So this isn't a good floor if you have "untrained" puppies in the house...LOL But lite water and liquids should be fine.

I had this installed in my kitchen by my contractor. In 3 hours, they were nearly done. The time installing trim and quarter round took the most time. The floor was done in 7 hours including the trim.

this flooring is a little harder to get started than the more expensive flooring, but a great option if your budget is limited. if you plan on keeping this floor for a very long time, i suggest upgrading, but this product does what we intended it to. easy on the budget

the price was great allowed me to do the whole house. color is great. not as easy to lock into place as instructions state. if not careful will chip easy. but overall it is great for the price. looks great in my house.

I didn't use the padding with my floor. I just don't see that it's necessary, A little squeak here and there add character and gives you the advantage of knowing when someone is walking through your house. Like if your kids are awake in the middle of the night.

I purchased this for my new home to go in the entire upstairs that had old carpet. My husband and I have been watching DIY Network and we tackled this our self. it looks great. The planks are long so I would suggest a table saw instead of a mitter saw, for the vertical cuts. Any underlayment will do. I had the $50roll, not needed. next time I will get the 14.00.

The only bad thing I noticed is that the edges are vulnerable until installed. Be carefull when tapping the boards together.
Take care of not dropping sharp items because it will marr the coating.
Other than that it is a nice looking floor and would recommend for any low budget project, house flip or rental property all day long. Compared to a peel and stick or carpet in the same price this will out perform and have a much better look in the long run.

I was hestitant to purchase this product at such a low price but when it said it had a 15 year warranty...can't be bad. It installed relatively easily, I guess. I never installed this stuff before. There were some boards that had blue on the edge which couldn't be used...until we got to the last row that needed to be cut and was able to use there so it all worked out. It looks great, I'm very happy with it. Time will tell as to how it holds up!

It was time to replace the carpet when we saw the email highlighting sales... after looking we chose this flooring mainly based on price... we had not experience with laminates and wanted to test it out... so far it has exceeded all of our expectations... easy to install and seems to be holding up well under the rough and tumble zoo of dogs and cats.

I did the whole down stairs on a tri level with this product. It looks wonderful. The store was great, it was very plain so you could see what you were buying and understand what you would need.

I like the way my new floor looks. Mostly I am happy with the product. A few things I would change if I sold it would be: better instructions, a little more quality (breaks to easily while installing), something to prevent scratches.

I wanted to purchase the cheapest product available as this was meant to be an "experiment" for one room. This product was on sale, making it the least expensive choice. I liked the color, so I went with it. This product is WAY too thin, which makes it extremely difficult to install. Thick laminate snaps together nicely and can be adjusted slightly once together. This was more like trying to put two pieces of cardboard together. Also, because of how thin it is, using typical laminate installation tools (pull, etc.) tended to damage the product. It was very difficult to move it at all once it was linked to another piece. Also, due to the thinness, the underpad is almost more noticeable than the laminate itself, giving the floor a bit of a bouncy feel when walking on it. Also, while I let the pieces breathe at room temperature for over 48 hours prior to installation, the pieces still changed a bit later on, causing noticeable lines in the floor. Don't be cheap like me - spend some more money and get something better.

Used in apartment above garage so was looking for low cost alternative. Good for applcation and installation on top of berber carpet since thin. Did have finish separation during installation on more pieces than normal during installaton.

I installed this with my 11 year old daughter in 7 hours (with many breaks) in my living room (200 sf). I never did anything like this before and I must say, once I got the hang of it, it was pretty easy to do. It looks great! If I can do it, anyone can! I think I am going to do the bedroom floors next. The directions were the only bad part about this, just pictures, no words, but I figured it out.
