Looks Great, but dents and gouges easy
By BrianAndrewsVerified Purchaser from Bristol, CT on 9/22/2008
Pros:
Attractive Finish, Easy To Install
Best Uses:
Bedroom, Family Room, Living Room
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Floor went down easy (I stapled it) and looks great. Alot of smaller pieces in the carton, but for the price it should be expected. The only issue I had was the birch is very soft. The finish seems scratch resistant, but the underlying wood is very soft and my dogs nails easily dented the surface.

Installed in new Pilates Studio and wow it looks incredible. Used a pro to install, looks and feels like material 2x the price. We are redoing the condo we live in this year and will use the same product.

I just installed this flooring throughout my condo. I love this floor! It was a pain to glue down (you could float it), but it looks and feels just like a hardwood floor! Definitely worth the work! And for the price, you cannot go wrong! I get a lot of compliments on it! Overall I am extremely happy with this product! I was debating between this and laminate, and am so glad that I chose this product! It has the look and feel of wood without the price!

We're really pleased with the way this flooring looks in our basement family room. The only reason I didn't check that it was "durable", "easy to clean" or "scratch resistent" is because we're still installing it and haven't really had a chance to put it to the test. I'd really recommend the adhesive remover wipes that Lumber Liquidators sell - they work like a charm to remove any adhesive that gets on the surface of the boards. We didn't discover them until we got to the second room and they have made clean up so much easier.

We put down 1000 sqft. throughout our whole house and the difference is incredable. Went in fairly easy after we figured out what we were doing. Two things to remember are get the glue off the top as quick as possible and when to stop to come back to it another day pay attention to the glue that will dry in the tongue and groove dry glue in the groove will make instilation very difficult. But for the most part easy to install. Also the people at lumber liquidators were wonderful and very knowledgable.

Bargain-priced, close-out product that changes manufacturer names, though we were told by LL salespeople that it is basically the same product. LL calls it DURENMA. Manufacturer, under evolving names (Schon, Durawood, TimberTop) was lowering the warranty years - downward! There was some variation in color due to mill # and date of manufacture - so buyer beware if consistency is an absolute (it wasn't with us).

It installed fine and looks B+/A-. We had a pro install it for us. We like it, especially since local Central Calif flooring dealers sell comparable products for 3 times the LL price. Some of the savings is lost in shipping, however.
