I purchased this product for a dining room and office. Wish my budget would have allowed me to include my living area. Really llike the idea if it does get scratched can easily be covered with a dark felt pen.

My husband and I didn't have a clue how to do this on our own so we decided to give it a try. Once we started we just kept going and had a great time with it! We had knee pads and all the necessary tools for a smooth ride! Outstanding quality and very beautiful. I was amazed with the outcome. Plan on doing the rest of our house in the near future.

Floor looks great. It took 2 men 8 hours to complete 425 sqaure feet. Method of install glue and nail down.. Calculator for sq. footage was off waste was minimal and left with 2.5 boxes. There was only one plank out of 425 sq ft that was marked up and could not use..

We put this in our family room and wow! Talk about a transformation! It is absolutely beautiful. I could not ask for a more attractive floor.
We glued it in and it was labor intensive, but not difficult. My husband and I installed approx 260 sq ft in a day and spent the next day re-installing baseboards and trim.
If you DIY and use the glue, I highly recommend the Bostik wipes. They were fantastic at cleaning the little bits of glue that got on the wood. We cleaned as we went and wow, was that easy to clean up.
I agree with another reviewer that this dark floor does show dirt a bit more. The beauty is worth it though.
We are planning our next room already and it has only been a week.

I had about 2300 sq ft of this product installed in parts of my home a couple of weeks ago. It is gorgeous! It makes the house look warm and inviting and it looks very upscale. It also feels great beneath your feet. I installed a couple of rooms on a 45-degree angle for a different effect and it looks fantastic. I also did the stairs and they turned out great. This floor is absolutely amazing. I knew it would be a challenge to install by myself with a friend but I'm glad I did it. We did 450 sq feet in a weekend complete with moisture barrier. It was much harder than I anticipated, and preparing the concrete floor was really the most time-consuming part. It was all worth it though because now when I walk in the door I have a gorgeous high-end floor to look at. What I love most is the fact that this is not an everyday floor that all my neighbors have. People will notice it because it is different, and it looks like it costs twice as much as it actually did!

If you want something very high end for a 3rd of the price this is it!! Over 1000 sq ft installed and it's the focal point of our home!

We bought this flooring President's Day weekend and my husband installed it himself very easily. It is glue down and all you have to know is how to cut and lay it plumb. It is so beautiful and I am so glad we made the decision to select this product. I highly recommend this flooring for any room in your house.

Since it's such a dark finish, it shows dust and dirt more than a lighter finish would. BUT, when it's clean, it's absolutely gorgeous.
