We had the handscraped Richmond Plank installed throughout the house - except bathrooms and kitchen. There is a VERY wide variation in texture, color, knots and veining. In addition, it comes in five different lengths so the overall look is very random. We were skeptical of the glue down need, but it provides a much more solid and quiet feel over an old section of floating floor. I am all for glue down now.[...] I found someone to do the job for about two-thirds of the price. This makes our enjoyment of the floor even higher. When we bought the flooring, we were told it would be "weeks" before they got in some of the transition pieces we needed. We just bought plain pieces and had a stain made up that matched the flooring almost perfectly.Overall, we are very pleased with our flooring.

For the price, this is a really good looking floor. Just built a new house and we put these in every room except the bathrooms. Have received many compliments.

This flooring goes down very nicely. Just make sure if you do it yourself, that if you staple it down, you use a 1/2' flooring stapler. We rented what we thought was one from HD and it was wrong and split the wood. We checked in with Robert, at the Harrisburg Pa. store and he gave us the model of the stapler to use. We bought one for 239.00 and it works great. The flooring just snaps together fine and staples easy.It also cuts well with no chipping of the finish.

Love this handscraped flooring

Last year we had our bedroom & closet, the gameroom & closet, the formal dining room & the stairs done in this wood. We love it! We had a great guy install it & he made it look simple but I sure don't know. In mid-July this year we had the other 3 bedrooms (1 room now an office) & the closets done. With 3 big dogs & a lot of hair we now have no more carpet! We couldn't be happier with the look of this wood or the ease of cleaning it. Haven't had it long enough to know about scratches & we've put felt pads on the bottom of just about everything so if it moves it won't scratch as easily. And if it does scratch I doubt you would be too concerned since it's already handscraped. It would just add to the character.

The quality for the price paid was outstanding. The joints of the wood were square and provided a true fit. The overall look upon installation was exceptional. The look of the finished product looks like much higher priced flooring. We used it in two bedrooms and love it.

This is an excellent value for the money product. The major hurdle in installing was how to do it, as I never installed flooring before. We ended up going with a floating floor with glue at the tongue and groove connection. I did my Great Room, Den/Office with this floor.

This is such a beautiful floor, I am extreamly pleased with my decision. It gives my home a "lived in" beautiful appearance. I love the beveled edges as apposed to the other floorings. I would choose this same product again and recommend it to others.
I have no problem as of yet with scratching or denting. I have dropped things and the floor seems to be quite resistant.

We just had this professionally installed in the kitchen, livingroom and dining room. We are VERY pleased with the look. It gives an old floor look; exactly what we wanted. As expected, there are a number of minor imperfections, which makes it fit great in an old farmhouse style home. There were a lot more shorter boards than I would have thought, but it came out looking great. We selected this style so if it accidently becomes scratch or dented, it will blend right in with the other imperfections! The store was very helpful and our floor matched their sample well.
