The flooring was extremely difficult to install (nail-down), my husband did it himself as an avid Do-It-Yourselfer. In fact, he built our home so generally doesn't find anything that is too big of a challenge. The flooring is quite beautiful but scratches much too easily. A plastic laundry basket placed and moved around on it caused a big area of scratching. My grand-daughter cannot play "grown-up" using my shoes anymore (any type of heel causes scratching). Frankly, I am very concerned about what our [$] floor is going to look like in a year...I have not heard anything back from LL Corporate or the store I purchased it from with regard to my concerns either.
