This was used in my living room and all bedrooms, the variance in the wood looks spectacular. I would definitely recommend the 5" width as it's more drastic than the thinner versions. I had this professionally installed, it took them about two days. Everybody comments on the uniqueness and quality of the product. Ed within the Phoenix location was extremely helpful and patient with my various questions. He took several phone calls from me prior to the purchase and provided stellar customer service. Top notch service.

This floor is absolutely beautiful! We have put down about 500 sq ft of this so far and can't wait to finish the rest of the house. It cleans great, seems to be extremely durable and reflects light, making our rooms seem much bigger. Warning - if you're doing this yourself and haven't worked with glue before, it will be challenging. We started in a smaller room that would be less visible and learned lots. The second room we did went much better!

I have much experience with remodeling and restoring old houses. I laid 700+ sq ft of this brazilian cherry, and it's lovely. Do be careful to set your pneumatic floor nailer exactly right, or it will raise the surface of the board slightly. I set mine for what the mfr suggested for 1/2 inch flooring and it raised the edge. I messed with it a bit and got it working better. The top cherry layer is very VERY hard, and it doesn't scratch easily (unless you drop your circular saw on it!) I have 3 maniac dogs, and they don't leave a mark. I highly recomend this product, as soon as I pay off the free financing, I'm putting it in the rest of the first floor. It's a job to put down, but I'm 56 and a woman, so you can do it if you take your time and do it right.
