Thought we would float this floor on our concrete slab to avoid the sealing expense and glue cost, however there was too much bowing in the product to do so, it sounded bad and didn't lay down well. Glue down is more costly but in the long run we are SO glad we went that direction. The feel, sound and look is much much better. I would advise against trying to float this product. The end result came out really nice, very solid and clean looking. Go with glue.

We had this floor installed professionally in our living room, dining room, and master bedroom. The installer said it went down easily and he and his crew commented all day about how much they liked the floor and that it was one of the nicest floors they had ever installed. My family absolutely loves it. It took me a while to choose this flooring because of the variation in color/pattern, but rest assured that it's beautiful. The other selling point is the hardness and durability. I worried about my kids damaging hardwood floors and these have held up well.

Beautiful product and color variations. Very durable. Kids have dropped items and no damage. Even if there was it would blend in with the natural knots in the finish. Kids also dragged themselves around in a laundry basket to my dismay. This left a trail in the floor but it came out with a wipe down. Must have taken a bit of finish off but I can no longer see any signs of damage.

The pictures just don't do it justice - this flooring comes out beautiful! It went down easy - make sure you have a flooring nailer and a good saw, as the wood is very hard. I would still say that it is durable, but don't get overconfident - it does still scratch and dent, so be careful. Overall - GREAT - just what we wanted and expected!

Great diversity in wood grain and colors, heavy grain and knots, everything a 'real' wood floor should look like. This is a floor for those that want real, true and authentic wood look and feel. One person who saw it in our house thought it was reclaimed vintage wood. If you want all planks to match, such as seen in laminate, than buy laminate, because this wood floor is not for you. We opened every box and mixed it up even more than the random stack and sort that comes in each box. Absolutely stunning and truly beautiful to behold.

I've laid other floors, but this was exceptionaly easy. The joints fit together more easily than most. Lots of wood grain variation. The hand scraping was great and gave a fabulous old world charm to the room.

We put down this flooring three weeks ago and I LOVE IT!. It looks great, and goes well with the flagstone living room floor I presently have. I would put it in two more rooms if I could afford it! (The price was reasonable, I am just on a fixed income!) Got any "Tabacco Road" you want to get rid of???????

I love this new floor. It has an unique coloring and seems to match every room. We placed it in our hallway and office. I am going to get more for my guest bedroom.
