I have a 3-level condo with the main floor on the second level. The entry stairs see a ton of traffic and juice box slips so I replaced the original light-colored carpet with this laminate and couldn't be happier. It's been almost a year now and the floor looks as great as it did when I first installed it. There are no chips and it cleans up easily.
The installation started off a little difficult but once I got used to the cuts for the treads and risers it seemed to go much smoother. Overall it took me 2 days to install but only because the first step was built out of very shoddy and warped OSB that needed to be fixed.
I think the only con I see is that the bullnoses sit on top of riser edge which can be awkward for some. You don't see the nice smooth tread like a real wood stair but it does help to hold the assembly together.
Overall I love the product and believe for the price, you cannot go wrong.

Installed the flooring in the living room and hallway. Flooring was fairly simple to install with a few tools and miter saw. Lines all matched up well and pattern matched at joints on almost every plank. Much cleaner appearence in the room and the floor is holding up well to foot traffic and my dog trying to run on it. Very easy to clean with just a dust mop.

Overall, the floor looks okay. The pattern doesn't really line up from one board to the next, but unless you're really paying close attention, you don't notice. For the price (about [$] sq ft.) it is actually pretty nice stuff. Easy to install, but gaps keep opening up long after installation. In the future I'm going with real wood instead of laminate. but if you're looking for a quick fix that looks alright for really cheap, then this is the way to go.
Actually, I hired a contractor to install, b/c of my bad knees. But you can't beat the price, the floor is gorgeous and it looks and feels like a newly finished hard wood floor!!!! I'm just so happy with what I got for the price, I shopped around and found that Lumber Liquidators is awesome, customer friendly and had the order ready almost immediately. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Thanks Leo for installing it, you did a wonderful job!!!!!

We installed the Mt. Vernon Cherry Laminate flooring in two bedrooms and the livingroom. Love the product, Installing was simple and quick..very affordable too.[...] All in all, I'd do it again. for the price its worth it.
I use it in my family room and it made a world of difference with the mint green paint job on the walls with the white crown moldening. It made the room much brighter.

overall I was very happy with this product. The installation took a little longer due to the extra care needed with the corners chipping. The finished product looks great.

The worst part was prepping the floor - tearing out the old carpet, had to sand the floor in certain areas to get it level. Once I started to installed it was super easy. Cover 800 sq. ft. It took 2 days for actual installation. Never done a floor installation until now. Even today, I look at it and still say wow what a fabulous floor!

The overall look of the floor is great. Installation was difficult as first because the 2 boxes we started with were slightly warped. Once we opened a "good" box, things went great. The edges do have a tendency to chip.

It was our first big project. We did our family room and a bedroom. Which is about 900sq ft. Once we got the hang of it, we finished the room in a day and a half. It looks beautiful!

The Mt. Vernon Cherry laminate has transformed our rental property from a ho-hum carpeted space into a bright, pleasing home. The installation was relatively easy.
I have never done a project like this before and it took two guys about eight hours to cover just over 300-sf including some challenging cuts and closets. This 6mm laminate was very economical and was chosen for our rental property to save money. The product held up pretty well during install with only a few chipped peices that had to be replaced. Relatively little waste (Approx. 5% or less)
Overall this was a great choice for us for this project.
Almost finished
