After getting indifferent sales help at a 'big box' store, we went to Lumber Liquidators and selected the mountain pine laminate as we didnt want anything with a 'reddish' tint but still something with a bit of texture and warm wood pattern. With the help of an installation pro, two people installed 650 sq. ft. in three rooms in two days. Quality of the product is good, with only 4 -5 chipped pcs. in 23 boxes. Underlay is preattached, which gives it a more solid feel. We are very satisfied.

This has been a great project from start to finish ...the floor went together easily and looks beautiful. I ripped up existing carpet (which we had replaced only 7 years ago)vacuumed and put down this floor. I read the reviews here and agree with those who said that if you are unable to follow directions you may create your own problems. Take your time and do it correctly and it's a snap (oops I mean click). Its been down 1 week (with a grand piano on it) and no problems.

I used this laminate in my bedroom replacing a carpet trashed by dogs & cats.....I love the rustic appearance (just what I was seeking)--I still have the animals so I will see how durable it is with their paws & nails....thought about installing wood BUT figured this was less traffic than a main room and the price was right @ 1.39 sq ft....was in stock so I did not have to wait--installation was simple....my 12 year old daughter helped me install it!It looks awesome....bye bye carpets!

Great product. Well designed & easy to install. I used a piece as a spacer for cutting the door mouldings - ran the saw across it for every door in the house and zero scratches. I think this stuff is going to wear very well.
We laid it upstairs on a plywood subfloor and the sound is acceptable. We laid it on our concrete foundation & the sound is a bit cheap. Next time I'd pony up for the cork underlayment for concrete foundations in the future.

Great aesthetic improvement. Uniform look through out my house. Some thought I had real wood floors and did not know I had a concrete slab. Very durable product. This flooring had to be used to replace water damaged area.

went down easily and looks great. Has not been installed long enough to know how durable it is. Cleaning was simple and fast. The floor is used for a fitness studio (zumba and yoga) and the students seem to think it is comfortable. It is installed on a slab on grade concrete floor and I put felt paper down for vapor barrier. The only bad thing I have to say is that 6-7% of the pieces were bad, either chipped or the ends weren't square. Other than that I was very pleased.

Great product! I did our living room, family room dining room, two bedrooms and an entire staircase. What a huge difference. I started with 4 patterns from a pallet with manufacture date of 06/2010. Every panel fit squarely, locked together well and was actually fun to install. Start with two solid rows and then square off as best you can to opposite wall. I needed an additional 100 sq feet to finish my last bedroom and picked up 5 more boxes. This was manufactured 04/2011. Fit was not as nice but acceptable and picked up a 5th pattern. The 5th pattern that I had, resembled a giant salmon filet. It did not seem to be as square as the rest but was tolerable. Stairs were a little time consuming; I boxed over the overhangs, what a great look! I did have some chipping with heavy hammering even with the installation block I bought at LL...Best to use a couple of the interlocking panel pieces in between the planks and the block provided in the kit. Heavy hammering is not needed. A decent table saw and 12" circular miter saw will become your best friend - made this job very easy. Ensure to randomize patterns. My husband and I recently put down laminate throughout the house...living room, dining room, four bedrooms and two halls. We used two other brands (well known) and the Dream Home Nirvana. Of the three varieties, Dream Home was by far the easiest to install. The joints clicked together cleanly and closely. Out of 31 boxes, we found only 4-5 damaged planks. The overall appearance is just beautiful - very close to real hardwood. We used Mountain Pine Nirvana and just love it!!

love this flooring. we've had it 6 months maybe and it still looks great. only have one scratch on the whole flooring - we did 4 rooms in our house and thats from our son taking the screwdriver to the floor when we were working. easy to put down. once you figure out the first two rows. we did it at night a little bit at a time while the kids were sleeping. the only problem is we have a one soft spot right where three rooms meet but thats a problem with the uneven concrete slab. but our kids run their metal trucks over this floor and its held up great. everyone who comes in our house compliments us on the floor.

Installed this in my rustic-themed gameroom. Easy to install and it looks great!

I did find that the edges were easily damaged with the pull/tap bar, so be especially careful when working close to the walls.

The patterns are pretty limited, so on a large space (mine is 320 sqft), you see the pattern repeated a lot.

This flooring went in really well. There were about 4 different boards to try and mix up. It took my husband about half a day to put it in. One note you can not return laminate so make sure you measure very well. We needed only one board from the last box--not even the whole board about 15 inches. So we have a whole box almost left over. So we will probably use this same pattern in the next room we finish.

Really beautiful floor. Two things to watch out for though. Out of 18 boxes, two had a significantly different pattern ( dark kerfing)than the rest. Also, three boards in different boxes had ends that were not exactly square. Just make sure they snap tight when you install.

We replaced the carpet in our family room with this laminate. It installed easily. There were a few boards with "dings" around the edges, but we were able to work around them with a little creativity on placement. So far, so good. We have not noticed any scratches and I assure you we have dropped and slid many things across.

We put this floor in the bedroom about 270 sq ft. It has cool color tone, with subtle tinted hues. The knots make the floor look realistic. When this floor was originally introduced it was 3 times the price I paid. I highly recommend lumber liquidators and will use them again in the future when we decide to do the upstairs bedrooms.

We put this all through our house except bathrooms and wash room, but would not put in kitchen again, some water was left on floor and it caused the wood to raise up, it hasn't deteriated yet and may not, but it has damaged the floor. But it looks great, very rustic and just like wood. Really like it and seems very tough except for the water spot.

We read all of the reviews and decided this was the best laminate for us....and it is! Our project was the kitchen, dining room, and hallway.We opened all of the boxes and separated into the 4 designs. It has beautiful variations of color. When done we were so happy with it we decided to do the Living Room also, so back down to the store. The 14 new boxes only had 1 pattern-and it is a pattern we didn't have for the first project!! So in reality there are 5 patterns! Our living room will have a more rustic look with the "sawblade" pattern but that is OK, we are putting down an area rug anyway.

I have this stuff installed in my dining area,kitchen,living room it is very durable. I have 2 labs and a spaniel two kids with toys always beating on it never take off the shoes to walk on it. I have dropped wood on it going to the wood stove that is the only damage when a 50 ponds log fell and put a small crack not that noticable. Just sweep and run the swiffer pad and it looks new again. I would highly recommend this flooring.

We purchased an entire pallet of this product to finish our cabin hallway, bedrooms and great room. Although there are four different patterned planks available, our entire pallet (1,000+ s.f.) only contained one pattern. Make sure you get a variety of all four patterns or else your floor will be very repetitive. See photo for example of the four different patterns.

Beautiful product... especially for the price.We had this installed in every room with the exception of the bathrooms. Haven't had it long enough to comment on wear or cleaning. Only con so far is our contractor had a horrible time installing. He said that the 'clicking' part was VERY frustrating... but he also said that this product was a better quality floor than the $4/ft flooring he recently installed in his home.I would rec. this product but would suggest you not attempt to install this flooring yourself unless you have experience. I plan to comment at a later date regarding wear and cleaning.

We put this flooring in our kitchen, hallways and living room. It was easy to instal and looks like real hardwood! I have a 100+ pound dog and a 30+ pound dog, have had it installed for a few months and still no scratches, and they are ROUGH on it; especially when someone comes over, they go crazy!! Swiffer wet mop cleans this perfectly as well as a small sweeper to get the hair and stuff off of the floor beforehand...it's so much cleaner and easier than carpet!!

For the price, I never thought we could own floors this nice..it virtually would look good anywhere!! We were going for the rustic, natural lodge look and we got it!! I love dark floors but they show dust so easy and this floor doesn't show dust hardly at all!!

Although I can't comment on its ease of installation (being that we had it professionally installed) I can agree with a few other reviews and say that the pictures on LL hardly do it justice. If you want a gorgeous, rustic looking floor for a quality price, this is it! We looked for MONTHS before we even closed on our home and finally settled on this gorgeous pine flooring. Upon picking it up at LL, I was astonished at how beautiful the colors were. We are above and beyond thrilled with our new floors and the quality is awesome! We have a small dog and it doesn't scratch or show any signs of damage. Like I said, if you want a beautiful rustic floor for a very reasonable price, this is sure to fit your needs!

This laminate went down fairly easily, was an excellent value, and went well in the living room with fireplace and burlap-type wallpaper. The pattern is such that it is important to sort the boards so as to avoid placing identical pieces in one section.

Nice quality for the price. Bought 27 boxes and only ended up using 23, 2 of which were end-cut waste. I laid my floors at a 45 degree angle to my fireplace and it looks awesome! Still have to install baseboards in the photos.

The product is nice, has a wood texture on the finish, not flat, very slight sheen but not overly shiny. The boards snapped together nicely & only a few chipped while I was installing, but it was usually my fault. Make sure you don't press them together if one of the tongues is damaged, skim it off or replace the board or you'll have a 1mm or so gap after whacking them together.

Only complaint is the prints on the boards were annoyingly similar. I had to open 8-10 boxes at a time and lay them out to mix up the pattern enough. There are only 3 different prints of pine, some of which are inverted, but still made it somewhat difficult to get the right look.

Great flooring for an excellent price. Easy to install. It is much easier for two people to install, but can be done with one. Avoid areas with potential for high water exposure, bathrooms and laundry rooms. Make sure you put felt pads under furniture legs to avoid scratching of floor surface. Attached backing on laminate saves a bundle in buying underlayment. Invest in a laminate flooring installation kit as it will save flooring from being chipped during installation and helps to tap in flooring in tight corners & when in close proximitiy to walls during installation.

This is a beautiful floor and a welcome leap up from my linoleum tiles. The look is that of a natural barn wood, and there are some beautiful tones in the color that make decorating and painting so much fun ... tones of green, an earthy orange. I'm going for the Hawthorne Yellow paint by BM that will be very lovely indeed.

The attached padding is very impressive. It absorbs sound very well and makes installation easier. The Nirvana line has a very quality feel to it. Installation is easy enough if you take your time to make sure you do it right when starting the first couple of rows. The only complaint that I have is that every piece in a box is exactly the same pattern. There are only 2 or 3 different style pieces so you have to be careful not to repeat the same piece over and over.

I thought a low price would mean lesser quality but this floor is beautiful and I installed it in half a day in an 11x14 room with lots of tricky angles. They snap together perfectly and hold tight to the subfloor. My only gripe is that keeping these floors clean is a bit difficult but aside from that great product. I will be ordering more of the same.

This stuff was a cinch to put down. My suggestion would be to first click in at an angle then retap after pushing it down flat with lastly tapping against the board next to it. I'd never put down this type of floor before but had lots of experience with tile of all types. I'll put this down from now on. Cleans great, stands up to big dogs, etc.

This floor was very easy to install and looks great. I haven't noticed any scratches and I have pushed my furniture around several times already trying to get it right. My only word of caution is not to let spills sit any time at all. The edges of the boards will warp quickly.

My husband and I bought our first home last year. The carpet was ok then but after we got our dog it was terrible! We purchased this laminate hoping to have an easier time keeping the house clean! We were nervous about installing because we had never done it before. [...].We have installed the laminate in the living/dining room. It is a very large room with some tricky cuts up by the front door (lots of diagonal and multiple doors and a closet!) If we can do this anyone can! It was difficult to keep the expansion gap in all places because the walls are so concave/convex in some places. But we made it work! Don't get discouraged if the first 3 rows seem really difficult (they were for us!!!!!) After that it was smooth sailing. We laid a 400+ sft area in around 2 full days, although a rectangular room would've been even faster! The floors are so beautiful and easy to clean! The bellawood cleaner works really well and you don't even really have to scrub. The muddy paw prints come off just fine!I definitly recommend this product to anyone. The price is great and we've gotten so many compliments on our home! Just make sure the boards you install dont have any chips. It tends to chip easily.We are currently installing the laminate in our 3 bedrooms as well.

I have never attempted a job like this. A friend and I installed this flooring in the entire house in three days. (1100 sq. ft.) The product looks great and we have less dust because we have no carpet. Great if you have someone with breathing issues.

This floor was installed in our living room, dining room, and kitchen. It is a beautiful floor. We are very happy with it overall. The only con we have is it chips on the edges very easily. We were very careful as we installed it, but after completing the entire floor we have noticed approximately 7 chips throughout a 700 sq. foot space. They're not extremely noticeable, but a bit discouraging after working so hard to install the new floor. Installation was a breeze after we figured it out.

We would recommend this floor, but with the advice of being very cautious and to inspect each piece before installing it.

We have a boxer - he does not like the floor at all. He has a hard time getting traction. We have utilized the use of throw rugs which helps out tremendously. So, all pet lovers keep this in mind.

We installed this in one of our vacation rental cabins about 6 months ago. This is a child and pet friendly cabin that is full every weekend. We haven't seen ANY damage to the flooring.
It looks very pretty and people have a hard time telling if it is real or laminate. It is a little darker than it looks in the pics online. We went with a dark stained pine for trim and like the combo.
The installation was very easy. I have overhauled a couple of places already with real hardwoods. This was on a cement slab foundation though, and the click in place, floating floor was very simple to use.
I will use this flooring again to finish off the cabin when the carpet needs replacing.

I loved how quickly this went in. It took less than a day to do nearly 400 square feet. I love it. The only complaint I have is it shows dirt & bare footprints (from the kids) really bad I have to sweep & mop daily in my bright room, but the beauty is worth it! I used an expensive cleaner for laminates that I bought elsewhere and it made it dull and streaked it horribly. Only plain water seemed to work, works for me!

Love this flooring, busy hides any improfections, beautiful, looks awesome with olive greens. Very dog, cat, kid friendly. Just becareful droping things on it, droped a fork and the handle made a small ding, but can be coverd up with marker.

We are so happy with our new floor. It is absolutely beautiful. It was easy to install, we had our entire upstairs (living room and dining room) done in a day and a half. I could not have ask for a more beautiful addition to our home. Our new addition has log siding on all of the exterior walls on the inside, so that it looks like a log home. This floor matched the stain I used on the log siding so perfectly. Thank you Lumber Liquidators for allowing us to be able to afford such a beautiful floor, it was affordable, beautiful and easy to install. We highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to install new flooring, it made such a wonderful addition to our living room and dining room.

This is the second time we have installed laminate wood flooring. Love this flooring so much more for 2 reasons. First, the padding is attached to the back-makes the job so much easier! Second, this color perfectly hides dirt and dog hair-not saying I have a dirty house. Just 3 toddlers and 4 dogs-so the place can get messed up fairly quickly-but this flooring hides it all. Plus it appears very durable! A+ all the way!

Needed some inexpensive flooring for a 200 sq ft storage area above a newly constructed garage. Picked this product because of 8mm thickness and the attached padding. We keyed a piece at the store to see how tough the finish would be and were very impressed with the durability. Others we had found would scratched very easily. We loved the pattern which has "faux" saw blade marks in it to give it a rustic look. This really will hide any future blemishes. My wife did the installation herself and did a fabulous job. Make sure that if you are using a circular saw, get a blade with many, many teeth to get the finest cuts possible. Do not use a stock ripping blade.

I would recommend spending a bit more...but for the kids room is fine. The first 3-4 rows are a joke. They shift and come apart. After struggling for HOURS....we realized YOU ONLY NEED SPACERS on the starting wall, then place the next row just below the prior row and snap together. Get some help and you take the snapped pieces (all together) and snap into the laid floor. Once this pattern was followed, it was pretty easy. Thinking of doing our room in 12MM. Good luck. Looks really nice. Except our dog does not have his sea legs yet.

I installed roughly 600 square feet or so. [$] for all the wood. My measurements were way off after checking them 3 times. I wanted 10 more boxes and they didnt have them in stock. Good thing because I ended with about 1/2 a box left. Wooohooo! Spent the first and second nights, 5 hours total each night. Third night about 6 hours and I was finished. Great look. Go to home depot and get the proper tools to install. Be easy with the wood when putting in because its possible it chips with a bad whack of the hammer.

I purchased this flooring as an alternative to real wood. I have had several houses with real wood and I was a little worried about the apppearance, But it is very attractive and durable and I am very happy with my purchase. I had it installed by a friend (builder) and he said the install was easy, he did caution about using the tools that are suggested to install that they chip the flooring and suggested the use of a 2x4 (it worked better!) I would recommend this in any application. I am sold!!!!!!!!!

We purchased mountain pine for family room about 2 years ago and it looks great however when we were getting ready to re-do the floors in the dining and living room the color of mountain pine has changed and it is darker. The floors won't butt up to each other so hopefully it won't be a dark contrast. I am not sure whay there was a chnage in the color. Thsi makes it difficult to match. I would like to know what to clean it with.

This went in great! When I saw it on the 45 in another review, I knew that's what I wanted to do in my room. My husband was not thrilled. I got my way, but I had to do it myself. It was easy. He helped when I needed the extra muscle, but I got out the miter saw and went to work. The results are beautiful. Exactly the perfect floor for the room.

This is the 2nd time I bought this product. Once in a previous home's remodel and now. I love my new floor. My only piece of advice is to be careful when you get the product. The edges are easily damaged and then it dosen't fit together. I have a whole box that's damaged. I told the guy at the store I did not want that box because of the damage but he snuck it in anyway.

I had the Mountain Pine flooring installed in my Master Bedroom, and it took only one day, so installation was very easy. It looks like a new , bigger room. I have had so many compliments on it. I cleaned it the first day and that also was so easy, and then it stays clean for a long time. I have several small dogs, and the floor does not scratch at all, compared to old flooring I had before. House of 5 kids a dog and a cat and the floor is holding up to the treatment. Kids were able to put a few scratches in but it is hard to tell. Allergies and colds have been reduced because the carpeting has been removed. Love the product.

We installed it on the diagonal to camoflage some very crooked walls and it looks great - just like real barn board, but without the splinters! The dogs toenails do not scratch the finish and it's been installed for about a year. We love the floor!

Installed this in the kitchen and a 4 X 4 section at the front door 7 months ago. Grandkids play with their action toys on it, still looks as if it was installed this morning. Will be installiing this product in two more rooms. Goes down faster than some others because the backing is attached eliminating the step of rolling the backing on the floor first.
Be sure to install a vapor barrier, it's necessary to validate the warranty.
Go for it, anyone can install this floor.

Excellent quality for the money. I was able to install relatively easy. It looks great and has a real wood look and feel, not like some laminate. Comes with foam backer already on planks. Also, best to start with as level a floor as possible with any floating floor. You won't be disappointed!
