Some boxes only came with two patterns/images of planks, which doesn't give the installer much to work with. Lots of recognizable knots in only 5 patterns makes for a lot of time wasted in opening all boxes, arranging patterns in stacks and much head-scratching in lay-out in order to spread the recognizable knots and patterns out throughout the floor (to avoid seeing the same pieces too close to each other, thus looking like a "fake wood" floor). To avoid this headache, my next laminate floor choice will be with less "knot images". Over the whole floor, of the 5 images/pictures, you will have way too many of only 2 of them and not enough of the other 3, even after opening 8 boxes. [...]. The price was right and the good 3mm padding was a time saver, as I only used 6mil plastic sheeting underneath. The planks bend enough to hug larger imperfections in the floor, so it worked well for this townhouse living room rental application. Tenants and prospective tenants love it, as it turned out looking great, but install took way too long because of bad chinese qc and design. 8 patterns would've helped.

Great looking floor. Just purchased a really outdated home, and put this in Foyer, Living Room, Hallway and 1 bedroom. Looks just like real wood! It was easier to install then the cheap 6mm laminates, but slightly harder to install then the 12mm laminates. It does pop into place well, but doesn't give you a click sound like the higher price stuff did. Once in place, it does take a little extra effort and care to get it to "slide" into the lengthway adjoining board.... Don't even know if I said that right. But all in all.... It looks great and was definitely worth the price and effort to install. Highly recommend this product.

many of the laminate planks had damaged tongues and I had to make modifications to make a good fit. Laminate was beautiful but would not fit because tongue was broken on many planks.I would not buy Nirvana ( spelling may not be correct), brand laminate.

I used the 8mm antique cherry laminate for a 2 bedroom condo that I rent out. The original carpet finally gave out after 14 years of good service, I'm hoping to get at least that much out of this floor.

The laminate layer is not very thick on this floor compared to other 8mm floors I was comparing, but it did install easy enough. This product has a 3mm foam back compared to 2mm at discount retailers and it was a noticable difference in the samples. The planks lock together and I did not have any separation once the floor was complete. I just installed it over the last few days in the living room and hallway, no feedback on long term wear yet.

Granted I was looking for a mid-grade floor for my rental and for the price, this was better than anything comparable at the other retailers.

This flooring is beautiful after it was installed, [...] After research I chose the Nirvana Dream Home product line for its durablility and great looks. The planks seem to be alright after installation but long term we will see. Numerous planks out of the box were damaged ie: star cracks in the middle of the plank, tongues and grooves broke beyond repair, large chips out of the edges or corners and the carton showed no exterior damage. The warranty is very simple, bring back any plank you don't like for a replacement, but I live 370 miles from the dealer. I ordered extra and through some extra thought I was able to use up those broken planks. I have some long term concerns about durability if straight from the factory that many pieces were damaged. Out of 42 boxes of flooring 32 had at least 1 damaged plank. I have installed other brands and have not seen that kind of damage out of the box.On the good side: I have in my home and have helped install in others laminates that did not have the foam backer attached. Dealing with the foam in a roll was a pain. This set up with the backer already glued on was easy to use and is much quieter to walk on that the other types. The floor cleans up well and and has great colors. Also for a better looking job buy quality saw blades designed for laminate and replace them when they dull. They are expensive but the cut quality is worth it. I used Diablo blades for my table and miter saw and Bosch for the jigsaw with great results.

I've used this product in several rooms in my house. 3 bedrooms, living room and dining room to be exact. I would not recommend this product in a dining room that has chairs with rough legs. It does scratch fairly easily when chairs are slid, as I would suspect most of these types of floors do. A pre-engineered lumber flooring or solid would probably be more suitable. In the bedrooms, it's perfect. A little slippery with socks on in the living room. The seams are great and I don't thing assembly can get any better. This is the 7th house I've used this brand of products in. First time I've used it in the dining room. Wouldn't recommend it there. Excellent color and the seams hide very well. Very quiet. Not a whole lot of creaking as with the cheaper flooring. Would definitely buy again. Excellent choice for the money

I installed this in our dining room with the help of my 11 yo son. Extra set of hands made the job MUCH easier.
While easy to install, care must be taken to not scuff the pieces with the available tapping block or bar. Only use the bar on the ends to be covered with trim! Get all seams TIGHT.
Time will show how well it holds up.
Very nice product for the price.

I work at the Lumber Liquidators in Augusta, GA, and I just finished up a MANCAVE addition to my shop.

I knew I needed to find a laminate, beacuse they hold up to sratches, and the wear and tear that any man-cave would indure, not to mention PRICE! I choose 8mm Milltown Antique Cherry, because the real wood look and the color matched my osb walls.

I have a lab, and she has not found away to sratch the floor.

The install was very easy, but I do recommend you purchase the Lumber Liquidators Bucket that includes everything needed for install. (especially kneepads!)

Wow!! I have 2 large dogs, 100 & 125 lbs. Not a scratch! I installed this with my son and it took us 1 day to install 450 square feet. We had this put in our entire home right after we bought the house. We had a friend install it, and he said it went down like a dream. It's beautiful and cleans so easily. My son used this flooring in his great room, hallway and bedroom. It looks really good, very natural. However, it looks more like heartwood pine rather than cherry so it has more of a rustic appeal. He likes it a lot and works well for him. With the knots in it, it will be hard to see any flaws which occasionally occur after some use. It has a nice matte finish.

My husband installed this floor in about a 350 sq. space in less than a weekend, including in three closets. We put it in our room that doubles as a media room and kids play room.

We specifically choose this so the kids could play rough on it and I wouldn't have to freak out about scratches. Only time will tell how scratch-resistant it is.

It was very easy to install and looks nice, though I am not a fan of the color! It is described as "cherry" but to me it looks very orangey, especially in the middle of the day when it is sunny outside. Most reviews loved the color but I just don't get it. If you want pumpkin floors, then this is perfect for you. If you want a true cherry color, keep searching.

The good news is for the price it will be easy to change it in a few years. I just hope I can ignore the color until then and focus on what I DO like about the floors.

I was skeptical about putting this in our entry and kitchen (both VERY high traffic areas) It is the best best best. we have 3 dogs and we live in the country. After 2 years+ there are NO scratches, I can't believe that. And keeping it clean is easy I use a swiffer. So easy! We are putting it in one of the bathrooms. I will protect it with a rubber back rug. But it's in the kitchen, and after 2 years there isn't ANY damage. Pretty darn amazing if you ask me. I'm pretty sure one of the reasons it lasts so long is we followed the directions. It was hard for me to NOT nail it into place. So it pretty much, just floats. EASY PEASY. I am glad I convinced my husband to save money and buy this floor.

To anyone who is interested in purchasing this floor, it is a beautiful color and matches well with any furniture. When my husband and I first started shopping for laminate flooring we had to consider our dark-wood furniture and couches when deciding on a color of floor. But let me reassure you, if anything my dark furniture essentuated the beautiful lines in the wood. We bought the floors to put in our living room, kitchen and two small hallways. So far we have completed the living room and one hallway, (been doing a little here and there due to work) I recommened making stacks of the different patterns of wood so you don't have the same design close together.(Each box has about 5 of the same pattern) The hardest part is getting started but once you got a pattern going your home free. We removed all of our old carpet and used a combination of the Mill Town Antique Cherry laminate with a very high end Karistan frizee type carpet. The result was nothing short of elegant yet the job was done on a budget. Now that I see the end product I wouldn't have done it any other way!

Our handyman contractor selected this laminate for us when we learned the laminate flooring we had in an adjoining room had been discontinued. The new stuff looks great. Our handyman installed it in a half a day. So far cleaning has been easy, but since we haven't had the flooring for more than a few weeks, I cannot speak to its durability.

We put it in our galley kitchen, dining and living room. The only con about it is you need to watch when you open the boxes, some of the ends are chipped. So if you have bad close up vision like us pay close attention. We have on board in the middle that has this due to our vision. We are age 50 and losing that. Keeping in mind that this is a very inexpensive product, it is great. We did our office and living room with it and it looks a whole lot better than the carpet we had. It was super easy to install and we didn't use a pad. It was installed over plywood and went smoothly. I find it easy to walk on too. We own 2 large dobermans and haven't had any problems on that point either. I use a Swiffer wet and dry pads to clean it. No problem! I am really pleased with the look of this flooring. We didn't want real wood because of the dogs. We decided to give this a try and are very glad we did. We live on 13 acres and dirt is a huge problem with carpet. Thank goodness for this type of flooring. We plan to buy more for other areas around the house.

We are pleased with the way our kitchen/living room turned out. This floor was easy to install and looks good. Since we installed this in a mobile, it was a good alternative to regular Hardwood at a fraction of the price. Only thing a bit worrysome is that in some spots the joints don't appear to want to stay together. It's not creating a huge gap, but hopefully we won't get water down in there and have the product swell. Just need to be real careful.

This flooring was easy to install, the worst part of the whole thing is removal of our old carpet. We have 3 dogs and this flooring was recommended by the professional behind the counter. We worried about scratches and how easy it would be to clean, those worries are over! Super easy to clean and our dogs(2Labs and a Cocker) no matter how hard they try they can't scratch it. The best thing was the price. We saved lots of money by going to Lumber Liquidators.

The product was installed in a basement hallway and family room. I'm happy with the overall look, although there was some seam separation and buckling. It's pretty minor though.

The main complaint is that many boxes were full of the exact same pattern. A box shouldn't consist of identical pieces. We got 1 piece (out of 900 sq ft) of my favorite pattern. It was dissapointing to say the least. It's not convenient to drive to Spokane in the middle of a job, so we worked with the material we had.

The material finish is durable, however the seams are prone to breakage. The panel length was odd, so there was a lot of waste in the large room.

I spent about a week ripping out carpet as I was installing 700 sq.ft. of new flooring. You want to open many boxes at a time to mix the patterns. Make sure floor is very, very clean before laying down new floor. Also, if your going around door jambs make sure cut using a jamb saw or dremel tool which I used so flooring slides underneath freely. I'm very pleased with the product except for some small chipping that's happening in corners next to another piece. I think because some of the pieces are not exactly perfectly smooth from the factory. Hopefully this won't be a on going problem as the floors are only a month installed. [...] overall I'm happy not to have the carpet anymore.

We used this flooring on all the floors in a cottage we own on a lake.The flo is beautiful and makes the rooms look larger. It has the rustic look we were looking for. It went down easy and looks incredible. We compared prices at all the large home stores and their prices and quality didn't even come close.

I used the product installed in living area and hallways and bedrooms. Has a nice look. Some scrtaches but I just used a highlighter dark to cover them up. Everything is just great.

Very easy to put in and with a helper we put in 300 sq ft and just a couple of hours.
We will see how durable this product is over the long term. We have simalar in the kitchen that has done well for about two years, the ease of installation had us sold.

Take heed to the suggestion to mix up the planks. Several boxes of the product contained the exact same pattern on each plank with no variation. With this in mind, you may have to have 7-8 boxes open at one time and select accordingly.

This is a beautiful floor, and pretty easy to install (but do yourself a favor - spend the $15-$25 to get specialized tools to help tap the pieces together). The only problem we've had is our son spilled some water on the floor and didn't tell us for a day, now the seams where the boards meet a re a little puckered, but you can't really tell unless you are looking for it, or the light hits it just right. I haven't had any problems with spills cleaned up in a timely manner. For the price though, you could almost just replace the boards when this happens. If you are installing in a place where you EXPECT water (half-bath, entranceway, kitchen, etc) then be sure to use specail glue made for waterproofing the seams.

We ripped up ugly carpet in our Dining Room and Living room and laid bout 450 sf of this gorgeous laminate. We were done with the easy stuff in about 6 hours - we left the cutting the angles and curves for the second day! The angles weren't too bad because they were straight - getting around a curve was murder - but we finally managed... where we have a small gap that we will ask the carpet people to double pad and carpet the bottom step to cover up... other wise the molding covers the edges and the floor itself is magnificent. It cleaned nicely the first time, and it makes a lovely sound when you walk on it!
It looks warm, inviting and like real wood (at least in our opinion!) It even has some texture to keep it from having that "flat, shiny" look you see in so many cheap laminates. I would recommend this product - it was an easy do-it-yourself project for people with confidence in their ability to measure twice and cut once!

I can't say enough about this type of flooring. My husband was very skeptical about it, saying it wasn't real hardwood. Now his opinion is, he wouldn't get anything else. We have two dogs and a cat, I have no worries about scratching. I wasn't going to continue it into our kitchen, but I sure am glad I did. I have nothing negative to say about it. Thank you. :)

The Dream House Oldtowne antique Cherry is a good looking floor. The floor installed easily and the pad attached was easier then rolling out an undelayment pad. This floor looks like real wood.

Take your time the first few rows if it does not look perfect take it apart and try again. It will fit together perfectly. It took a few rows to get into a flow to install but once we got into a groove we installed 530 square ft including the trim in 12 hours. Listen to the staff when they give you tips or hints they were all very helpful.

Installed floor with no previous experience. Installed easily. I put it in a room with high traffic and it is very durable. Purchased the 8mm with the padding attached. Didn't need a lot of tools and was easy to fix if I messed up a cut.

We have only had this installed for a couple of weeks. Already have warping where water was spilled that only sat for a couple of minutes. Not very happy with it. Also and animal paws can stratch it really easy. Would not recommend this for a house with children or animals.

My wife and I installed this flooring in an upstairs apartment over a garage, ~650 square feet. It looks good, but when you touch it the surface has a plastic feel.

The attached rubber padding makes a messy black dust when cutting. Were I to do thisd again I would use the roll padding.

I did like the fact that the pieces are wide, meaning less pieces to install.

The pieces do not really "snap together". Once you join the long sides it is necessary to use a hammer and some pieces of wood to get the end joints together. Having two people working together makes this a much easier job than solo.

Given our usage and the price, I feel this was a good choice.

We are so glad that we did this. It looks great! I made a few mistakes along the way and ended up having buying more. It would be very easy to install if it is a perfect rectangular or square room. It is not difficult to install once you get the hang of it. I got a video that helped me.

My husband installed this in our living room, and I love it!! This was the first floor he ever installed. He said for the most part it was easy. Just like putting a puzzle together. He suggests when installing this that you cut it upside down. He alsosuggests you use the lumber liquidator installation kit, as it fits better. I bought a cheap one at a local discount store and he said it was a piece of junk. I will say my 2 terriers slide all over it and it makes it more difficult for them to jump up on the couch, but they're getting used to it. He is currently installing it now in our Dining Room. Love it!!

This is a very nice floor. It was easy to install and I ended up putting over 700 sf of it in a camp we remodeled. It looks great and is easy to take care. The installation kit is a must. It makes it easy to tap each plank into place. Don't try using an old piece of scrap wood. You will chip the edges. Will recommend this to anyone who is a do it yourselfer. Key tools are a good jig saw, a dovetail saw to cut door jambs, and a cut off saw is very useful also.

Planks have seperated along the short side of the board at several places. I pulled up a few rows to get them tight but, they re-separated in a few days.

As everyone else said, the flooring is of nice quality. The only recommendation is to be extra careful when installing. Depending on your technique, it will chip easily. I'm also still trying to find a cleaner that does the job. I've tried Swiffer and Murphy's Oil but they both seem to leave a film.

We love the flooring. However, it is not easy to clean smears. The floor cleaning kit that we purchased from Lumber Liquidators does not do the job. We are about to try the Swiffer Wet Jet which claims to be useful on laminate.

The flooring is top notch quality and our third floor to install. By far the easiest. However, the flooring took over 6 weeks to arrive due to a back order, which I was not notified about. Also had difficulty finding a real person to talk to about this. This stuff is so popular, you will probably have to wait for it, so don't rip up your carpet yet like I did.

We had this flooring installed by a friend who should be in the construction biz. It was easy to intall and looks beautiful. Most people who have been in our home didn't realize it wasn't "real" wood! It is slippery for our dog but he has learned not to run on the floor. We ran this flooring from our family room through the kitchen and absolutely love it!

This product was easy to install once I read the instruction. Be careful with the corners when you cut , as not to drop or bang edges before you install, they chip easy until there in. Make sure you have all the same made date or you end up with different shades. It snapped togeather with no problem if you get the tapping tool. Cleans nice with microfiber cloth.

I had contractor install this as part of a larger kitchen job. He was surprised how quickly it went in. The foam backing being attached was a great advantage. I love the warm look of the wood patterns and it is a large enough pattern to not look repetitive.

The look is great! It took us awhile to install because of all the angles in our room. But it snapped together nicely. The only complaint is the quality control. Out of 300 sq feet we had 3 pieces stuck together beacuse the glue used to add the pad leaked on the piece under it. We also had 5 pieces that had chipped corners. But all in all it was ok.
