I have two toddlers that play rough and I don't have a single scratch. Smudges do show some, but they're easily cleaned off. Installation was easy. After you lay your first few rows you get the hang of it real quick. This was our first laminate floor installation we've done and if you don't mind using a miter saw anybody can do it.

We live in an older home with no square walls, so the first few rows were tricky going down, after that, smooth sailing all the way. Definitely plan to use alot more of this flooring throughout the house and $$$$$, the price can't be beat.

Easy to install, finished product looks amazing, great help at Lumber Liquidaters, we had way to many damaged boards from our bundles, its really easy to damage boards installing them, other then that, not a bad product.

my nephew and i installed this in my living and dining rooms. it turned out beautiful because my nephew is good at what he does. it's not as easy to install as i had hoped but as i said, my nephew is good. the floor cleans easily with a laminate floor spray cleaner and a microfiber mop. i bought a spray for scratch removal/cover and when i find a scuff/scratch i use the spray and it's back to new. the floor hasn't been down long enough to say whether it wears well. if you have an uneven floor make sure you use extra padding in the low areas. i have a low spot that we missed with the extra padding (we used the cardboard packaging) and i worry that it will wear faster there than other areas. all in all, i'm pleased. btw, my dog skitters across the floor alot and doesn't leave scratches but you might want to keep doggie nails trimmed.

I bought this flooring and had it installed in my new condo in the living room and dining room. I had really wanted hardwood but due to the fact that I was on a budget and my sub floors are concrete, I decided to go with laminate. It came out beautifully. The color is rich and it feels like wood under my feet.

My installer said it was a great product and that it was easy to install.

We put this down in our nursery. We were pleased with the price of the flooring and the finish and color; it definitely warmed the space up. Once we got into a rhythm, it was really easy to install too. My only complaint is that some of the planks had some minor defects but I think that might be a normal issue with any laminate that you buy (we had 2 planks that had small irregularities out of 9 boxes). Good for those working with a smaller budget but also want decent quality.

The product is one of the easier ones to install that I have worked with. My only issue was the lack of variety in the pattern. Of the 20+ boxes 75% were the exact same pattern making it hard to give the rooms the right look.

I'm happy with the floor. It has really given my living room a more finished and refined look. The kids are loving slidding on it in their socks. The main complaint is that it doesn't really click into place. It is going down pretty well though. I almost gave it 5 stars but couldn't because I had a few pieces of scrap but less than I had anticipated. I would recommend this flooring to a friend.

Installed approximately 1300 square feet into 4 bedrooms, a dining room, a living room, and family room. Between carpet and baseboard removale, flooring installation, and baseboard re-installation it took 4 days. Upon completion and cleaning up the mess, the end results exceeded my expectation. The finish and overall look was fantastic. It can show signs of cleaning fairly quickly when the sunlight shines upon it but you would probably have the same problem with any dark colored floor. I was most impressed with the value received from buying this product from Lumber Liquidators. The material appears to be top notch quality, extremely durable, and resistent to scratches. I wouldnt recommend it, but i did move furniture across the floor prior to putting the felt pieces on the underside and saw no scratching. The material can be hard at times to piece together but if you are struggling, you are doing it wrong. It isnt something you can gently push together with two fingers. It does take a rubber mallet and hitting it in the right area so that you do not chip the edges - this exists with most laminate products so in my opinion was not a reason to not give the product a 5 out of 5.

First time installing any type of floor and was easier than anticipated. Price was great. We were able to do a hallway and two bedrooms way under than a [...] could do. Looks great and makes me keep the house cleaner because now I can see the dust that accumulates in a matter of days (OMG I had no idea) as opposed to it sitting on the carpet all week long and living/breathing in it. Only problems we had were several boards had the pad that transferred onto other boards. Some were usuable after cleaning others were too damaged. Other pieces had the corners bent so those pieces would not install properly. I had a small shell that feel from the wall and it put a small ding in the board. Overall we are very happy with product.

Went down easy But chips very easy. I put this Item in 3 bedrooms and a hallway. Dont buy the beater block they try and sell you it makes chipping worse. Cut off the end of one of your starter pieces and use it instead. Won't chip so bad that way..

I bought 5 boxes of this flooring and found at least 8-10 boards with various defects. I was able to work around most of the defects (e.g. use them in closet or trim them off (for edge of room), but it was frustrating, especially since I was installing the second row when I noticed the surface defects. The last floor I bought had virtually no defects (another Nirvana product), so this was a surprise.

The floor looks nice but I did have several messed up pieces in my boxes so count on a lot of extra purchases on flooring. Messes up as in the mat that's glued on was melted to the finish or the mat was tore off and I got some that the finish was chipped or a corner was crushed.

Put this in dining room. Easy install, cuts well, a little tricky to figure out how to snap together.
Solid so far, stays together well. Hasn't scratched even with kids dragging chairs across it.
Only complaint is it shows dirt easy.

We have installed other laminate flooring before, other cheaper brands, even Pergo, and we love this one by far the best. Personally I love this color the best--it's not a fake pink hue like other laminates that cost far more. It's super easy to clean--I just damp wipe it with the "grain" and it looks awesome. If you wipe it opposite then you will see streaks. It installed by far the best and easiest of all others also. Very few flaws, and was sturdy while we had to put in place. Locked together easily and is also holding very nicely. A few times we've dropped heavy objects and most of the time it didn't chip or scratch but one spot has, but the beauty is, the color runs a bit deeper than the top surface so you would never know a chip is there unless you point it out.

I have installed a lot of flooring and this one was about average. Some chipping, more than usual factory flaws you have to dispose of or cut around. I noticed once you interlock the flooring, it came apart more easily than others I have installed. I am trusting this won't be a problem with the floor during usage. All in all, tho pretty good.

So I initially bought the Medway Meradu laminate because it was a on sale for [$ per sqft. I soon learned that the sales guys were definately correct in the price and quality went hand-in-hand. I chucked up the loss on that 2 boxes I had purchased and bought this product. I was amazed by this product! The tongue and grooves are wide/deep giving a nice secure "click," making installation fairly easy one we got the hang of it. It was totally worth it because now the floor looks amazing! I has a nice, rich color which isnt nearly as orange/red as the picture looks on the website. It looks just a expensive as some of the other higher priced laminates! People come over and think it is real hardwood!

We installed this floor in our hall, dining room, living room, bonus room, master bedroom and closet. With over 900 square feet to conquer it took us 4 months of weekend only working, but mostly because it was the biggest pain pulling up our carpet and prepping the floors by pulling out carpet staples, etc. Installing the floor was the easiest part! There were some pieces in the 40+ boxes with chips, etc, but we managed to be ok by using damaged pieces for ends and all. The quality of the floor is good. I wish I could steam clean it, but I knew that going in. It's easy to clean with a swiffer vac. We love the color, love the feel. Cons include probably only the typical ability to scratch it with it being laminate instead of wood, but again, we knew this going in. We've installed felt backing on the bottoms of all furniture in hopes of it not scratching too easily. It's definitely great value for the money and MUCH better than our nasty, cat polluted carpet! With allergies, it was our only way to go!

At first sight this is a beautiful floor. That is until you realize that the slightest dust particle will show. It will also swell if ANY water hits a seam. I would not recommend this floor to anyone unless want to mop every single day.

I had the floors replaced with old carpeting I did not install [...] installed the floors done in about one day[...]the install was great no problems. The floors I love there pretty easy to clean I have 2 big snow dogs and the hair is much easier to clean up compared to the carpet. My only regret is maybe paying the extra for wood floors. However if your budget is tight as mine was this gives a nice hardwood look. I suggest buying a good dust mop this really helps to pick up the dust and dog hair. They are not hollow sounding either so not too noisey. My real problem is they scratch very very easy so buy some of the padding for your furniture legs right away once installed. Overall I am happy with the product and the price was good. I don't regret getting the floors over carpeting.

This flooring was very time consuming. Unfortunately we live 2 hours away from the company. We had 1 box with a lot of bad ends. Would recommend to travelers to buy an extra box while there. We made do with what we had and put bad pieces in closet area. Otherwise I'm happy with the color and the floor.

Installation was a snap once you got the first three or four rows situated and knew everything was squared up. Looks great, really adds warmth to the home. Only issue seems to be with the durability. Seems to scratch and chip a lot easier than I would have anticipated.

We put this flooring in our living room, dining and kitchen. about 800sft all together. It was relatively easy to install once you get the hang of it. If your floors are not completely level you will notice air pockets after installation. The only con i can really say is that the edges can chip easily while installing the boards. Part of the the problem was that we were sold a complete kit for installing hardwood floors even though we purchased the laminate. So, the tool for pulling the board together was chipping the edge of the laminate. Even after we got the correct tool from a neighbor we still had issues with the edges chipping.

We installed this flooring in two bedrooms of a foreclosed home we bought in South Florida after removing some nasty carpeting. We did not install it ourselves, mainly because we have lousy knees. It looks great! What a difference in the rooms; they look much bigger and really elegant. I've dragged some furniture around it with just the rounded bottoms that normally come on a piece of furniture with no scratching at all. I would highly recommend. The installer recommended Windex to clean it, though, which I don't think I will do unless I just try a small area. Easy to drymop. I love it!

Looks great once finished, unfortunately water spilled and one of the seams warped pretty bad. I wish they would make this stuff water resistant. The connecting lips were also brittle and found a lot of broken sections throughout. Overall pretty happy, but could do better.

This was the first time I ever installed flooring. I singlehandedly laid this flooring in my dining room, hallway, foyer, guest bedroom, and plan on using it in my living room as well. Be patient with the first row, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy to install. Get a decent table saw with a good blade to make the cuts you will need. You also must get the install kit which includes a tapping block. You will also come to appreciate knee pads. These floors look great and I was able to update the look of my house without spending tons of money on hardwood. I have had my floors for about 3 weeks now and despite four cats running around on them and my moving heavy furniture around on them, they are holding up really well. The only con I can think of was that if I wasn't careful when using the tapping block, chiping would occur and I would have to replace that board. I am super happy with the end results and the pictures that I show people at work leave them drooling! :)

We put this flooring in our three bedrooms, hallway and dinning room. Flooring looks awesome! First time laying laminate floor but all went well. Would recomend the installation kit. Be sure to use a scrap piece of flooring with the same tongue patterns as your tapping block as not to chip this piece you are laying. Everything went very easy with the install. Replaced all the baseboards to give a fresh look. Holds up very well with pets, kind of amusing watching them as well.

My shopping for flooring is over. After conversations with people in the industry along with my own research, I have found that Lumber Liquidators has the best prices and quality of any store. Thus, future flooring purchases will be easy to shop for. Immediately after I bought my floor, I took a sample of my new floor to [...]to do a direct side-by-side comparison of laminate flooring, actually holding my sample up against what [...]had in stock. I found that I would have to pay about [$] per square foot more for comparable quality. As a final note, what I bought at Lumber Liquidators is of vastly higher quality than some Pergot floor that I had installed in some other rooms 6 years ago, and for a fraction of the cost.

Floor looks great! Installed directly on top of concrete (with vapor shield).

The only negative is how easily it chips during installation. Be sure to have some Mahogany wood filler on hand.

This product was not as easy as they say. As a novice and never before installed wood flooring I watched numerous videos and asked friends questions. I had 600 square Feet to install and it takes a couple of weekends to finish. Do not take the baseboards off like I did, just makes it more difficult when you have to put them back on and then caulk them, what a messy job. Watch out for wierd angle cuts like 20 degrees vice 45 degrees. No one said anything about cutting the bottom of my door frame into the closet. I don't know how many times I messed up on the Quarter round cuts. Make sure to get plenty of extra, I got 10 % and it worked perfectly for the flooring but needed more for the Qtr Rnd.Buy knee pads and have a helper. Still have'nt figured out how to put the Reducers on, I think I have to screw them down. Oh yeah, wait till you you get to the end of the room and try to psuh the flooring together, no room to hammer it, need to wedge it with a crowbar. If you take the baseboards off you have to screw the spacers on the wall because they won't stay. Okay enough of my crying, goodluck. After you finish it looks great, just always take your time. Oh yeah, you need a tablesaw with a fine blade for lenghty cuts. [@]

We installed this laminate in our kitchen, living room, and entry all on the main floor and I'm extremely happy with it! It was easy to install- we didnt have have any problems with boards chipping, and it looks great! It's so much easier to clean than our old light carpet with a messy toddler! There have been a few spills by my toddler which I clean up promptly and havent seen any warping or wear! I love the look of it, obviously you can tell it's laminate, but the grain and texture is really nice and much better than other laminates i've seen!

Difficult to install. Did not "float" down. After getting a few feet put down the part behind you had come back up. Had to hire a prefessional to lay it.

We installed this in our family room. We decided to install it on an angle to make the room look larger. It was tricky to install on an angle but not impossible. The first few rows were the trickest and then it all seemed to fall into place. This is a great choice for those who really don't know what they are doing. We have a cat and two toddlers and we are very pleased with the overall result and durability. We were able to install it fully within two days and we had never done anything like this before.

The look and durability can't be beat for laminate. We installed on an angle to make the room look larger. It was alot trickier on an angle...alot harder to tap into place but it was able to be done. It took us a while to get into the groove of putting it down but soon it was smooth sailing. Great for people who don't really know what they are doing. We have a cat and two toddlers and it seems to be very durable so far. We are please with our final result.

We had this floor professionally installed. It looks beautiful. We have had a lot of compliments on it. My only complaint is that it is hard to keep clean even using the microfiber pads(I gave up on disposable pads products) and I would like to see a deeper sheen. Overall is very rich.

Installed floor in first part of an extensive remodeling project. This was the first time I have worked with laminate flooring and was not sure how it would be to install or the final results. Very happy on both counts. Very easy to work with. With the snap together design if something doesn't look right you can go back and change it.

Not sure about the flooring I installed it in a spare room. Will soon be installing it in 4 more areas, and also in my parents house.

Hint: Don't rush. The product will chip if not handles correctly. Use the installation kit and work carefully. I only had one piece chip but was able to use it elsewhere. Buy laminate rated saw blades. This stuff is hard and will eat regular blades.

We replaced old carpet in our new home with this flooring. It looks AMAZING! We get lots of compliments on it. It does seem to scratch a little easier than I had hoped though. We had several boards that came chipped too, so we were glad we ordered more than we needed. We are very happy with the floor. We used cork under-layment because some reviews said it has that hollow sound. We were very glad we did that, it doesn't sound hollow at all.

We had a professional install this floor and it is easy to install. We watched as he did it and it is great. The color is gorgeous and I am gald that we chose this laminate oppose to hardwood. We have 3 pets and we wanted a warranty and the ODD LOT WOOD does come with a warranty, so we chose this instead. We will be buying more for our hallway and family room. I love lumber liquadators. The mahogany is a very romantic. I have not had a chance to clean it yet but, I can tell that it will be easy. If you buy it you will not be unhappy you will be very pleased.

The finished product is beautiful. It was easy to install. The price was very reasonable. The color and total appearance of the floor is warm and inviting. I only wish I could get some advise on how to clean it without streaking. I would also like a higher gloss.

I am thoroughly pleased with this product! With allergy sufferers in the house, we decided that hardwood was the way to go. It wasn't hard to install. In fact, I used teenage helpers to get it done! The floors are durable, and have not scratched, which is a must with two animals. The look of the house has really changed for the better and it has improved tha value of my house.

I think that the contractor should have not used these pieces so I am not reviewing them as poor quality (we have 2 boxes left over so they didn't have to be used) We used a contractor recommended by LL

It was very easy to install after the first line was layed. The color is beautiful and it looks as if the room doubled in size. The only complaint that I have is if any type of liquid is dropped or spilled the boards will bow up at the creases, so if something is spilled make sure it's cleaned up within 10 mins.

I installed this in my baby's nursery and it looks gorgeous! I am 7.5 months pregnant and with the help of one other person we were able to install 100 sq. ft. of laminate in 6 hours (taking breaks to eat, etc.) The finish and color are beautiful, and I was skeptical at first because I ordered it online without buying a sample. I'm really pleased with how it looks.

The one bummer was that it did chip slightly easily so I recommend using a rubber mallet instead of a hammer with the tapping block. The installation kit we purchased was very helpful, but we needed an additional 20 spacers or so to complete the room.

It was tough in the beginning to get the boards together without chipping the ends, and I found the instructions to be useless. Overall, once I got the rows going to was pretty easy. I couldn't have done this job without a tablesaw and a jigsaw to cut the flooring to fit the doorframes, trim, etc... It looks awesome when it is complete.

I remodeled a 100+ Year old house and used this flooring to replace over 1200 square feet of flooring. The only place it didn't go was the bathroom and back entry way. Having never installed laminate before, it was a breeze. It took no more than 10 min. to get the hang of it. The only con was with the amount I installed I went through numerous blades on the different saws. I did scratch it with a staple on a piece of furniture but 5 kids haven't been able to damage it in 7 months.

I did damage a few pieces early on. I got a little too forceful tapping sections together. The floors look great.The foam backing is a definite plus. The hardest part was getting the kids to clean out there rooms to put down the floors.

As with any laminate flooring, it is an incredibly hard, durable board. This makes it difficult to cut into the exact piece you may need to fit around a door frame or partition. If you do it yourself, be sure to have tools specifically made for laminate flooring, if these tools exist. A friend that had done this flooring before helped me with this project, and brought over a jigsaw to help cut out some L-shaped pieces. He had a blade made for normal wood in this saw. We tore that blade apart! It got so dull near the end that I saw smoke coming from one board I was cutting because of so much friction and I wasn't moving anywhere with that dull blade. I since bought jigsaw blades for laminate flooring and they work like a charm.

It is never as easy as it looks, but after getting it started it went well. We live in an old farmhouse that had some cutting challenges, but it looks good. Only downfall is that we live in the country and the dust collects and shows up daily. The best part is that it is so easy to clean.

We ordered this product through Lumber Liquidators website in the spring as it was one of the few laminates deemed suitable for below grade/over concrete installation. [...] At that time we placed the online order, LL did not offer for sale the Dream Home cork underlayment now available for use with this laminate product. Now, just three months after my initial order and just weeks after instore pickup, I see that all of the Dream Home Nirvana laminate product descriptions include reference to the use of a cork underlayment as a way to achieve reduced noise and a better feel when walking on the laminate. We're disappointed because, of course, had we known about this product - via either the website or LL sales personnel - we definitely would have included it in our installation plan. Though we are pleased overall with the laminate itself, we do find the floor has a 'hollow' sound to it when walked on. And because we installed the laminate directly over a plastic moisture barrier as recommended by the manufacturer when installing over concrete, we can hear the plastic as we walk on it too. Lastly, the cork underlayment probably provides for greater warmth in the cold winter months as well. In summary, we only recommend use of this product in a basement if using the additional underlayment. Though we have no personal experience with the cork underlayment, we have to assume it would have made a difference in the end result of our install.

We recently installed the Nirvana laminate in our basement. We first laid down a plastic moisture barrier over the concrete flooring and installed the laminate directly over that, as was recommended by the manufacturer. However, although this website nor the manufacturer recommends it, we now wish we had thought to put some sort of additional underlayment material between the plastic and the laminate as the floor sounds a bit 'hollow' and you can almost hear the plastic underneath as you walk on it. The additional material over the plastic would likely make installation easier too since we found that one of our greatest challenges during install was trying to keep the flooring from shifting on the slippery plastic. Lastly, we're a bit concerned that we'll find the room and flooring cold this winter! Another example of "live and learn."

It seems easy to install but somewhat tricky. the ends break very easy,I cant argue it does looks great but if you don't buy enough at the beginning of your project you'll have finding more afterwards.I had to wait 2 months to receive the mahogany laminate after ordering the first boxes.

I let the flooring sit in my house for 3 days then started installing. Make sure that your floor is smooth and flat. You should also know that when installing don't pound the boards together too hard or they will chip. They are also not as scratch resistant as you would think, they are better than hardwood but you still need to be careful. Overall the flooring was inexpensive and looks great. I would recommend this laminate to anyone.

I thought it was relatively easy to install with the exception of trying to get the flooring to match up room to room around the doorways in my older, crooked house. It would have been easier to do each room individually and add threshold pieces instead.

Everyone is impressed with the look of the floors, it made a big difference in my house.

For the price it is a great product. I've had it in less than one month, my dog threw up on the floor and the finish warpped a bit. Still for the price you can not beat it. I was able to do 400/ sq ft for about 2/3 of the cost I thought I was going to have to pay. I would put this in again (due to budget).

I have an open floor plan, was very worried about sound. The planks are thick enough and with the attached pad, sound is no problem!

The only thing I would like is a clear coat finish I could put on it so I could protect it from my dog and her sick stomach.

I just finished installing 600sf of 8mm royal mahogany laminate in finished basement. I was somewhat skeptical with laminate flooring (never installed it before), but now I'm a believer! Very easy to install once the first couple rows are set in place and squared up. End cuts/rips very are clean (used portable "contractor" table saw with carbide tip blade). Minimal scrap. Both the wife and I are very pleased with quality and look of the finished product. Most definitely recommend!!

These floors are fantastic. We have four children and the carpet was just like a sponge to all the kid stuff they have to offer. The floor is durable and easy to clean and maintain. I would suggest getting a good pair of knee pad and also a strong pull bar and tapping block just to make your job a little easier.

This floor was very easy to install and looks really nice. It has a nice contrast with light and dark wood to make it look like really nice floor. It comes with a foam pad attached to the bottom which helps speed the installation process, but beware of the smell that comes off the pad for the first week, it's pretty strong. We are really happy with our new floor!

We purchased this product to install in our master bedroom. I loved the attached underlayment as it saved the extra step during installation, and it's actually a better quality underlayment than the stuff we would have bought seperately. The color is dark and rich looking; goes great with the white trim. We get tons of compliments on this flooring!! It hides the dogs paw prints and hair until we can clean it. After one month we haven't had a single scratch, dent, or other blemish on this floor, even with a sliding going in/out onto a deck. The 8 mm depth is perfect next to the tile floors into an attached bath and adjoining hall. Bottom line, I am overjoyed as a first time homebuyer and would absolutely return to Lumber Liquidators for a best buy on a best product for my budget!
