We completely renovated our 100 year old home, and were fortunate enough to salvage and refinish our upstairs hardwood. For the downstairs, we needed to replace the old floors, and chose this beautiful walnut flooring. Although it doesn't have the same "solid" feel of the old hardwood, it's quite stunning and makes our old house look updated. I would highly recommend this product!
We chose our flooring from what was available "in stock". There was a nice selection, it was exactly what we were looking for, and the customer service was very helpful, as our contractor had to return for all the accessory pieces. Everything was available, and in great condition. No unusable pieces, and it was easy for our contractor to install.

The floor looks beautiful. It's very rich and has a nice finish and great variation in the grain, etc. (just right)! No one believes I purchased this product for the price I paid at Lumber Liquidators. It's a gorgeous floor!

I installed this floor (yes ME!)a year ago and my husband and I love it. It is in our great room and kitchen. We have active kids and pets and the wear has been wonderful. In the summer we live with the windows open and do not have a mm of warping or cracking. It has the WOW factor we were looking for in our new addition which is full of windows and light!

As promised at the Home Show, attached is a photo of our new wood floor (Peruvian Walnut) -- which turned out fabulous! I have also attached a photo of the kitchen before the wood so that you can see the difference that the wood made. The old floor was laminate.

Comments about Schön Engineered 3/8" x 3" Peruvian Walnut Engineered Flooring:
I love it! It is great in my master bath. It is a great contrast to a very light room that made our old vanity look better somehow. We own a large dog, and even her claws don't scratch it, which impresses me since our oak floors are full of scratches.
The only thing that I was a little disappointed in was that the plywood backing seemed a little flimsy, but I guess it is only 3/8 thick.
