Golden Sierra Birch by Durawood is a decent product. Solid 3/4" wood by 3 1/4" wide birch. Installation with air powered floor nailer went great. Boards were perfectly staight and didn't have to be "horsed" into place. One tap with the rubber mallet and they were ready to be nailed. Not as many long boards as I would have liked. Longest boards were only 4 feet and they were out numbered by several shorter lengths...the trade off was they were all straight, no curves, no warps. Finish is a little thin/wimpy. Probably only a couple of coats where other more expensive brands such as Bellawood may be 8-10 coats. But for the price I can't complain. I've learned that no matter how much you pay for your hardwood floors it will scratch, dent, chip, etc if you are not careful. This is a rich, expensive looking floor for less than you'd pay for new carpet.

This is the most beautiful kitchen floor. I cannot imagine anything better. It is gorgeous!! And at the right price! And Lumber Liquidators made it so easy!

Installer called and said beautiful look; also no waste. High quality. Moved a heavy piece using thin plywood, but still left indented streaks in floor (and had to tear/replace). Good price, but be careful. This is a very soft wood/finish. Surprised at how soft. We plan to buy lots of area rugs. Still very satisfied, though.

This wood floor is absolutely beautiful!! We are very pleased with the product especially for the price. It does mark or blemish easily but we are very happy.
