We installed this wood on our main floor one year ago and just installed it in our master bedroom/bath. It is a beautiful, dark, rich, hard wood. We have three dogs and it has held up very well. You will be very happy with this choice!

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-5/8" Imperial Teak:

There are many rejects (cracked, bended pieces). Have to spend much time just to find an acceptable piece to install. Making installation a very slow process. Next time I rather pay more for higher quality products from other stores.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-5/8" Imperial Teak:

Very hard wood with beautiful grain and color. Does not dent and stands up very well to my big dog's paws. It took a four hundred pound entertainment center with exposed nail on bottom of leg to scratch the easily repaired surface. We love the floors! Just don't remove the straps from the cardboard boxes during the acclamation period or the exotic wood may bend. It was fun to match the different boards to create a work of art in the room.

Imperial Teak flooring in Master Bedroom
By Dean & YanidaVerified Purchaser from Westminster, CA on 10/29/2009
Pros:
Attractive Finish, Beautiful Color, Durable, Easy To Install
Best Uses:
Bedroom, Dining Room, Living Room
Bottom Line:

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-5/8" Imperial Teak:

This is a beautiful dark floor made from acacia, not teak. The finish is striking and the width of the plank closely resembles wood flooring throughout the rest of our home.

It fits well in our master bedroom as it is well lighted, which might be a consideration for some as the finish is quite dark, yet possesses touches of reds and lighter teak stain in some areas. The finish is very consistent from plank to plank and box to box of material.

Special note for the do-it-yourselfer: Our order came in 15 large boxes of over 6' in length, each weighing over 75 lbs. with a total weight of over 1300 lbs. Not easy to move around during acclimation or installation. These had to be taken upstairs for installation. Installation (done by a professional in our case) was not a one person job.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-5/8" Imperial Teak:

I installed this product one year ago in three bedrooms, three closets, one hallway, and one stairway. Installation went smoothly but I had to fabricate and finish all of my own transition and stair nosing pieces. Appearance and performance of the floor generally have been good-excellent.
