I bought this flooring to be "bullet-proof" and have been satisfied in that regard. Very attractive overall, though in some lighting the handscraped ridges don't look too natural. Light colored dirt and dust make cleaning fairly intensive in my situation. Installed fairly quickly except for the few planks I had to pull up after realizing the width tolerance was not perfect.

Excellent flooring. Put down 430 sq. (17 boxes) and found only one board that was not up to quality (stain issue and put it in the closet). Not one piece had missing or split tongue. It looks wonderful on the floor, and time will tell in terms of the ware, but while installing it was taking a little beating with the nailer, etc., and held up fine. I am now ordering more for the dining room. In terms of install, if you are a fairly handy person (chop saw skills, nailer skills) you should be o.k., just be sure the floor is really preped right and nice and level. And it might be helpful if you don't own one, to purchase a refurbished pneumatic nailer (see [...]). For the price it made my life a LOT easier. And you can always sell it after you are finished.We had considered going with a click lock to make my life easier, but in the end I am really glad we went with the 3/4. Now I know that no matter what, this stuff is down to stay for years and years (until covering hardwood with carpet becomes popular once again).A special thanks to the people at the store in Harrisburg. Just installed these in living/dining rooms. Absolutely thrilled with the wood. Very few long pieces, but that ended up working in our favor and we had very minimal waste. Even returned one unopened box. Out of the 11 boxes we did use, only one board had a tiny little chip on the corner. Otherwise, the wood was all extremely high grade, the finish is fabulous, and it looks wonderful. Very, very happy with it.

We had the floor installed in our great room, hall kitchen and dinning room. The man who installed the flooring was excited that we bought the hand scrapped wood. We love the Cainbridge Oak. It is a beautiful rich wood with depth of color and changed the look of our home. It was put down in one day with no trouble.

We had the flooring professionally installed. However, the look is great. Installed in all bedrooms, down hallway, in the kitchen, family room and music room. Beautiful texture, great look, great feel. Wonderful finish.

I love the floors we had installed. I only wish there were more longer boards as most of them are fairly short. Also, the grills had to be specially ordered and the shoe molding was not going to arrive by installation time. Therefore, the installer had to stain the molding himself.

Boards were various lengths but each box had same mix of lengths. No problem whatsoever mixing to get adequate separation of end butts (at least 6")between adjacent rows. Seemed to be a lot of splits or broken tongues/grooves, but careful trimming to begin and end rows really helped limit problems. Recommend inspecting each piece carefully before nailing. Floor is very good looking. Installed in new apartment above garage (aprox. 1100 sq. ft.) over tongue and groove 3/4" OSB and resin paper. Handscraped texture is excellent.

The finished floor looks awesome! I had my handyman help me install it because it was the first hardwood floor I was laying down. Since it was such a small area we nailed it straight into the plywood subfloor, no underlayment. It's not noisy or cold. My only con is that there were quite a few short boards. I plan to redo my dining room floor but am worried I'll have way too many shorties. Pictures below are before and after. The hall outside the pantry had carpet, the inside had two layers of linoleum. UGH. Would have posted more than 2 pics, but that was max allowed.

The widths on about 5% of the boards varied enough to create unsightly gaps in a few places. After noticing this on the first problem board I removed it and was careful not to nail down more without double-checking the width. Other than this the installation was easy and the results are beautiful.

Love my new floor. It goes great with antiques. My brother in law installed it, and he said it was very easy to work with. We installed it in our kitchen, and plan to order hand-scraped bamboo for our living and dining room next year. The hand-scraped will match the kitchen floor which was hand-scraped oak.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our new floors!! This was the absolute best purchase we have made to improve our home. We added this flooring to our entire main level which includes the kitchen, breakfast nook, family room, entry way, office and dining room. All I can say is B-E-A-Utiful! We did it ourselves and didn't have one issue. We ordered about 50 boxes and only had 5 "bad" boards. Impressive. Great company to work with. They were very knowledgable about the products. Take a ride to a show room...It's worth the trip!

I have done hardwood installs before but never has the install been this easy. I installed 400 sq ft with very little waste and one peice to cull out. Fits together very easily with little effort in fitting. I used a Dewalt stapler instead of a nailer and it was a dream too.
As for the finished floor it is beautiful!

We installed 500 sq ft in our cabin in Maine, and it was fairly simple (except for the nailing which required some muscle power). It is absolutely beautiful and a perfect choice for our rustic cabin . Since it's a little dark it shows the dirt, but cleans easily. My only dissatisfaction is that it did not have very many long boards, most boxes were a lot of short ones (the longest ones were 48")

I had a professional install this flooring at it looks so beautiful in our 1888 Quuen Anne Victorian. The color is so rich and the grain is lovely-every board is different. It looks like it's always been in our old house because of the wide planks. The guy who installed it said it is great quality flooring that went together easily.

I used the product for my den and hallway. I have not used lumber liquidators before because I thought it was second quality products. I was WRONG. I got a quality product at a good price and the shipping time was less than every where else. I am TOTALLY satisifed.
