The floor goes together well and the edges form a very nice joint. The handscraped finish gives it a somewhat worn look but still elegant in a country home.

We put in 1000 sq. feet of the coventry oak hardwood in two weekends. It looks great! Now for the baseboards. If they look as good...we'll be so happy. The wood was in great shape, easy to organize and we found very few ugly boards. The variety of wood shades look wonderful. Couldn't be happier. The only con is if you are looking for long boards, there aren't many, but the cost of the wood is so good... we sure could overlook that.

We love the look, the ridges of the hand hewn properties. We have received countless compliments on how striking our floor looks.

Our kitchen and dining room is totally redesigned and is breathtaking.

This is a beautiful floor but beware! We found two different widths, varying only by 1/16th of an inch but over a whole floor, you would have bows in it. What we had to do was sort it into two piles by width and use one width per run.

We put this flooring in our living and dining room. Couldn't be happier. It went down with ease and with the 12 and 18 inch board we had almost no waste. We purchased the recommended 5 percent extra, and had an entire box we took back.

We used the wood in our bedroom and office, it looks wonderful. The only down side to buying online was not seeing the actual colors of the product. I am very pleased and it ended up matching perfect with the staircase we were trying to blend in.

Installed this floor in our house and it looks so much better. We put it down our selfs and it wasn't that hard. Went out and purchased a nail gun that helped the job go a lot faster. Taking out all the old floor and carpet took more time then putting down the new. If you take your time and do research you should have no problems. We are now doing our steps with left over and purchased a darker bull nose to accent the steps.

Installed in a family room at a 45 degree angle.
Looks great. None of the boards were cupped or warped. Just the right amount of hand scrapping; not over done like some other floors.

Easy install seal floor with recommended vapor barrior, ect. All that was a little wrong was some (and mostly the smaller pieces) were milled narrower than the rest however it only followed the hand scrapped theam of not being perfect. All in all I will be using the same for my home. I am a contractor and have installed all kinds of flooring this is just as easy as any.

We installed this flooring in my dining room and we are very pleased. The wide planks made the process go a lot quicker and the various length made for less cutting!

We love this flooring it is so beautiful when it is down! We have had so many great comments about the flooring and people who now want to do there house in it. The floor has gotten scratch by our 95 pound american bulldog, but he has not been gentle with it, however, the great thing about it is that it just added more character and does not look damaged at all from the scratches!

The floor looks great but be careful. The widths of the boards vary by almost a full 1/4". Had to sort through all the boxes and pre-measure the widths before instalation to prevent gaps. Other than that the handscraped boards look amazing and only had to toss a few for color variations.

We were a little leery about using the hand-scraped floor, we couldn't find a large enough sample to determine if we would like it or not but after putting the floor down we love everything about it. Then we watched an episode of "Extreme Home Makeover" and they were using our floor!!

We had the flooring professionally installed in every room on the first floor except the laundry room, rear foyer and master closet. The amount of waste was less than the 5% anticipated and the professional installers were very impressed with the quality of the milling. Everyone loves the appearance and wants to know where we bought it.

These oak wood floors, turned our house, into

Once installed, the handscraped oak flooring significantly enhanced our 112 yr old cottage!! Very easy to install.

The floors are very nice, but I'd suggest ordering an extra 5-10% over the normal extra amount, as there are a fairly large number of very short pieces (less than 13 inches). If you don't like the look of the short pieces get some extra..... Otherwise very we're happy with it.

We had the hadscraped oak installed in our family room. It looks fantastic. Our friends can't believe how nice it looks and it is the first thing they comment on when they enter the room. Their next question is "where did you get it". We could not be any happier. Our only complaint is the you do not have a store in Northern Kentucky.
