High Quality product. Just installed our first bedroom floor and it's beautiful. Can't wait to replace all of the carpeting with red oak hardwood. We chose to remove and replace all of the baseboard molding over using the "shoe Method" or "undercutting the baseboard". We felt it gave it a more professional appearance and we're very happy with our decision. The cost is minimal. We plan to install this in all our rooms except the bathrooms. We belive it will add considerable value and charm to our home over new carpeting. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to replace their flooring.

We love these floors! Due to severe latex allergies, we had to replace the carpet in our entire home with hardwood flooring. This product has a gorgeous color, and the finish does not show dust or dirt at all! It is easy to clean and SO much better than carpeting.

The only thing we were disappointed with was the way the wood was installed on the stairs. We used a professional installer contracted through Lumber Liquidators, and they used the pieces of wood from the flooring on the stairs instead of full pieces of wood. Thus, we lost a significant amount of depth on the stairs, and they look pieced together. Be sure to look into that before doing stairs, or ask your installer ahead of time. I have never seen anyone install wood on stairs in such a manner.

Overall, though, we were very happy with the flooring in the rest of the house. It is beautiful!

We had never installed flooring before. But with the reassurance of one of the staff at your store, I knew that my husband and I could do this. We did, and it looks wonderful. Some of our friends and relatives thought we were crazy for attempting this. With the right tools and information provided on your website, it really was pretty easy. We had a question about placement of the heating vents. [...]Having some problems with trying to trim around the fireplace, and already have some scratches from our dog. Cons: Hard wood and so must have good tools to cut and drive in nails. We tested first, thankfully. This con was really not so bad. But installation is slower than anticipated due to selection and cutting and putting together on the diagonal, which solved a lot of problems with non square room and entrance transitions.Pros: Very little waste. Looks great, makes room look bigger. Dogs have yet to mark it. We are planning to do our dining room and living room next year and will use the same prefinished Bellawood. [...]

A friend of mine installed this Bella 50yr Natural Red Oak in Oct 2005 thru 2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living areas. Anticipated 10-15% scrap...we had virtually none. And it still looks new 3yrs later. The color variation is real wood. If I wanted one color, I would have gone w/laminate. Easy wipe down to keep clean. Scratching is not an issue. Although I have a big dog that occasionally runs thru the house which created 'indentations' of claw marks. And small particals got stuck on bottom of my rubber wheeled office chair, indentations were also created. Easy fixes with a couple runner rugs in common walk-thru areas and a small rug under chair. At this point, I can't imagine ever dealing with carpet again. With a dog and a kid, real wood's the way to go.

The precision with which the 3/4" X 3 1/4" read oak flooring was manufactured made all the difference in our installation. We ended up with zero gaps. ZERO. I am truly impressed with the quality and finish of Bellawood.

We bought in two lots. The first lot had less warping woods, perhaps the lots just got delivered at warehouse. The seconds lot that I got had a lot of warp woods, perhaps it stays in metal container (high temperature ?) that caused the woods to warp !
Other than that, I like the wood. Since it's "natural", it has more color variation. If you want more uniform color you may want "select".

From past experience, Bellawood is the best. It's very easy to install with very little waste. We started in our Master Bedroom and plan to finish the entire house with the same product. If you love hardwoods, you can't go wrong with Bellawood!

This is great flooring and so easy to install....I installed 290 sq. ft. in less than 8 hours and it looks great!! This is the third floor I have done with Bellawood flooring and I'm totally satisfied with all aspects of the product.
