this floor went into our entry hall, living room, and bedroom hallway. it is a 1000% improvement over carpet and looks like it really belongs in a 50s rambler! all the grain and knots add a lot to the beauty of the room.
we had a contractor install our floor so he picked it up. it was in perfect condition. i think the restocking fee is too high at 20%; most places charge 10% or 15%.

This is great pre-finished flooring. It looks great and goes down great. I had about 2000 sq feet installed by a professional. A couple of caveats that I didn't know about: (1) prefinished flooring can have minor uneven spots where one board is slightly higher than the adjoining board. In unfinished flooring the boards are sanded down level with each other. This is not a major problem but to be aware of when you are looking at the final product. (2) the gaps between the boards are small, almost invisible but they are gaps. Liquids and such will seep down between the boards. If you have a pet (or parent, or kitchen) accident then it's going to wind up under or between the boards where you can't clean it up. In unfinished wood the gaps are better sealed with puddy and finish. I do not recommend this flooring where liquids may be spilled!!!! I used an artificial water-proof wood product in my Mom's room (she's incontinent) instead. However, the Bellawood went everywhere else in the house because it's very beautiful flooring.

Installed in new construction by contractor. He was impressed with quality and fit. Ordering 110% of actual square footage was exactly right. Used all 42 boxes ordered with only five boards left over.

I was very impressed with this product. The quality was remarkable and very consistent.
I found that the un-usable pieces were few.
I plan to purchase more of this flooring in the near future. Folks at Lumbar Liqs. were very helpful.

I love the floor. It looks so good that I can't believe I put it in. Took around 21 hourse to install a 276sq ft space. The prep work for the kitchen took an additional 5 plus I had to rip out old floor which took 5. I would recommend you leave yourself atleast 3 days to do a room this large if you have more than putting it in to do. My knees hurt so wear knee pads.

I installed this flooring in my home 8 years ago, and in remodling my home office needed to patch a 12" x 13' strip where i removed a book shelf. The new box of flooring matched perfictly .you canot tell the new flooring from the existing floor. Thanks for the gerat flooring .

We first installed Bella Wood, Rustic Oak, a year and a half ago in both our family room and formal living room. First of all, I never really thought about how dirty even the cleanest carpet is after a few years. We could not be happier with our new wood floors. A year and a half later they look just as they did the day they were installed. This last week, we installed the same product in our master bedroom. I would consider myself an above average, do-it-yourselfer, and had no problems with the install in any of the 3 rooms in my home. Once you have a solid level base and the correct tools, installation is a breeze, with the exception of a sore, 50 year old body for a couple days. In closing, no wear whatsoever after 18 months, and 3 of our friends have purchased and installed Bella Wood since they first saw our floors. Both of our contacts at the Lumber Liquidator stores in Urbandale, Ia. were very helpfull and knew the product very well.
