BELLAWOOD - 3/4" x 2-1/4" Natural White Oak Prefinished Solid FlooringIn addition to Red Oak, White Oak is another extremely popular flooring choice in American homes. The heartwood is a light brown color and some boards have a pinkish tint or a slight grayish cast. The sapwood is white to cream. White Oak's grain is open, with longer rays than Red Oak and occasional swirls and burls.Bellawood offers a fantastic line of traditional domestic and exotic flooring that includes many beautiful wood species in a variety of widths and grades. Since Bellawood floors comes to you with a 50 year, UV-cured aluminum oxide finish, you never have the mess of sanding and varnishing after the floor is installed.What is "Natural" grade?Natural Grade has some color variation, mineral coloring and small knots. I LOVE my White Oak wood flooring - and Lumber Liquidators gave me the best bargain around. As you can see from the photos, I had some old ugly blue carpet in the living room / dining area that I replaced with the wood flooring. It's a MUCH warmer and more welcoming space. Also, for the first time in my life, I put wood flooring in my kitchen. It compliments my new cabinets very well. I'm so glad everything came together (and it's done!). The wood does scratch easily - but those can be taken care of with a teflon scratch pad.
