I was surprised at the amount of damaged pieces. I expected 5% waste due to installation but I had 5% waste due to boards that were damaged or split. To me thats 5% cost I shouldnt have had.

so far it seems very sturdy. we were surprised by the separation between boards that is the nature of pre-finished wood. if we had known, we may have gone with unfinished and then finished the floor once it was down.

Actually, we didn't lay the floor ourselves, but had our contractor lay it and it looks so amazing. I love it and we are going to have the stairs done as well. Thanks for the convenient of being close and very helpful over the phone and when my contractor came in. Happy, Happy Consumer :)
