First time we have installed a wood floor. I did some reading on the net but everything I needed to know was on the manufacturers site. Very few unusable boards. The few defective boards were cut and used as end peices with very little overall waste. Boards were straight and fit nice and tight. WE love the look and feel. Can't really comment on scratch resistance, but our dog has sharp nails and she runs around like her tail is on fire, and we have not noticed any scratches.

This flooring is perfect for a humid environment because of its stability and hardness. Everyone who sees the floor is amazed at how beautiful this wood is and we are just as amazed each day we see it. The floor is one year old and I haven’t seen any changes or flaws yet. I am now going to expand my flooring to the stairs and landing above to bring it all together.
