we had a professional installer put it down. It does seem to scratch a little easier than I thought it would but am still very happy with product.
looks great
There were alot of spotted pieces that I could not use. [...]
I DIDN'T INSTALL IT SO AM JUST A HOMEOWNER REPLACING SOME OLD FLOORING. SURE CHANGED THE LOOK AND FEEL OF THE WHOLE HOUSE FOR THE BETTER.
We put this in our family room and it looks perfect. Our installers did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this floor to anyone who is looking for quality and affordability.
Great product. We are doing the whole house with hard wood floors.
I'm glad my wife and I went with a little more expensive floor and did it ourself instead of getting cheaper flooring and have someone else do it. This flooring is ultra easy to install and looks fantastic..
we used in commercial application, so hardness was a factor. It was installed easily, and quickly.

We installed this in our dining room and kitchen and it looks beautiful! The variation in color is amazing and the installation, though very time consuming, was pretty easy for first-timers. We like it so much we are adding it to other rooms too! My only complaint is that the color does darken from sun exposure and now we have a line on our floor from where the dining room rug was. Just avoid direct sun exposure if possible. Overall great product and barely any waste.

The floor is so easy to maintain. We have already noticed we are freer of allergy symptoms. The warm cherry coloring adds a nice warmth to the rooms and really is beautiful.
The look of this floor is amazing. We hire professionals to do the installation since we are doing a full renovation of my new house. The installation was impecable. We were expecting about 5% bad pieces as indicated in the specs of the product, but we have less than 1% in almost 1000SqFt of floor!!. The finishing looks great, color (with natural variations) is rich and add warm to the house. Couldn't think of a different product to use.

This is beautiful flooring, but watch out for a really difficult installation. The glue seems to jump from the pail, and it STICKS wherever it lands. It is only barely removable with the cleaner you buy, and as far as removing it from your skin, learn to wear it. It also is expensive.
The most unfortunate thing, however, was that the store person convinced me to rent his straps so that I could really make sure the floor was held tightly together as I glued it. He demonstrated how tight to crank the straps (pretty darn tight) but did not warn me against making them too tight. As a result of my tightening, the edges of this wood (which is only 3/8 thick) warped up, leaving the final installation not flat. If you look at it in the right light -- not shining across the floor -- it looks fabulous. If you look at it the other way, it looks amateurish. Yeah, this is my fault, but there should have been directions and the guy renting me the straps should have provided better instructions!
I will say, however, that I've gotten lots of positive comments on the floor, and perhaps I'm the one who most notices that it isn't flat. (And by the way, I covered the original wood floor with Hardibacker to make sure I would be gluing to a flat surface.)
Partially completed. Note straps

We had this installed, but it is absolutely gorgeous! Everyone that comes in is so impressed! We hope to someday have this flooring throughout our home!
Lumber Liquidator's is a great/dependable dealer.

I installed this product in two bedrooms and a hallway. I tried using a stapler rented from a local big box that was supposed to work with 3/8", but ended up wasting a lot of time, money and some flooring. Finally had to break down and purchase a manual nailer specifically made for 3/8" hardwood. I used cleats rather than staples or nails. The nailer worked great! I am very pleased with the end result, and am planning to put the same down in my dining room, living room and master, when I have the time. It is a lot of work, so be prepared! Having the right tools will make the job much easier! I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a beautiful floor at a fairly reasonable price.

I did my family room last spring and this spring I am doing the living room, office and front entry way. I used the Bostitch LHF Laminated Hardwood Flooring Stapler with 1 inch by 3/16in staples. Fairly easy but time consuming and back braking. This time im going to take my time installing.

I've installed hardwoods before (years ago). I installed this product in our great room and am overwhelmed on how beautiful it turned out. I found that the 3/8 product worked just fine going over a subfloor as opposed to 3/4 thickness. Some of the longer boards tend to warp a little. I would suggest a good quality floor nailer so you don't marr the finish. The most time involved was just the prep time of removing furniture, taking up carpet/pad , pulling out staples in the subfloor that held the carpet pad down, and installing the vapor barrier. Once that was complete all that was left was some careful measurement and planning and start putting boards down. I'd do it again and again. Very pleased!!!

I had a hard time chosing from the great selection Bella has, but settled on this one. I just love it. I used it through my hallway, living room master bedroom & closet. The finish is durable and cleans so easily. I went from wanting to sell my house to loving walking in the door each day. I had a professional install it and he gave the bostiks best glue a thumbs down - said it was very difficult to work with & it left residue everywhere.

I received 5 boxes with some very short lengths (1 ft) and was left purchasing another box to finish the job.

For the price of engineered and some high end laminate--WHY NOT SOLID, DUH. It was a no brainer--easy to install, beautiful results

FIRST TIME INSTALLING WOOD FLOORING...GLUED DOWN ON CONCRETE SLAB. ONLY DRAWBACK IS CLEANING UP THE RESIDUAL GLUE. LOVE THE LOOK!!

Very attractive and durable flooring. I have installed flooring many times, so install is easy for me. Could be difficult for a first timer. It is best to use a staple gun with an air compresser and 1-1/2" staples, stapling in the groove at an angle making sure the staple goes into the sub floor. Flooring will darken over time.

Using a Bostitch Air Stapler for hard wood flooring works great and adjusts to the tought groove for perfect placement of the staple. It has been a God send in helping lay the flooring. Love the flooring... Let it age several weeks before putting furniture or area rugs down as it will leave outlines where the sun hits it.

I'm about half way through the install and love the look but it is a bit more difficult than I thought to install. I purchased a fairly expensive manual nailer and could not use it as it skips off the tongue and damages the flooring. So I am left pre-drilling and nailing - very time consuming.
