We used this in our family room and had extra so did our daughters' room when they went to college! The only problem was, when we bought 4 add'l boxes, two of them were full of splitting and scratched pieces that were no good to us. We finished the bedroom and closet just fine with what we could. It scratches easily but is so sharp looking in our burgundy family room. Yet, attractive in a bedroom with a small throw rug. Beautiful flooring, exactly what I wanted!! Wish it didn't scratch so easily!! Overall, we were very happy with it (obviously, because we did a second room!!).

Great looking floor and easily installed. Finish easily scratched and poor UV protection. Noted distinct sun bleaching within several weeks with temporary throw rugs during finish. Even had high performance windows with UV protection. Manufacturer should reconsider finish.

Glued(Bostick Glue) and cement nailed 3/4Plywood tto the Cement slab. Layer of 15# felt. Put down the Jatoba with 1-1/2" cletes and a power nailer @90psi. Waste was minimal.
It was very satisfying to get the job done so quickly. Used 16g 1-1/2" finishing nails on the perimeter boards that could not be nailed with the floor nailer to close to the wall

Like the changing color as it ages.I do not recommend for kitchen. Better install in the area where there is less traffic.

this floor was installed in a house on the whole second floor 4 bedrooms and hallway. it changed the entire look of the house it was a major upghade!
