Everyone loves the floor. Only con is I ordered a little extra, and ended up with lots extra that they would not take back(2 boxes). LL said the boxes had more square feet than they thought and they charged me an extra $90. They could have taken 1 unopened box back.

Installation was hard because of inconsistant milling and thickness.
Is not durable at all. I realize it is wood, but this stuff dents when you drop a set of keys!
Warping or different milling was the most dissapointing.

The grain patterns of the wood are extremely beautiful and I see something new each time I look at it. Each piece is a little different grained than the next but exquisite. This wood makes a colorful room that I love.

We used the Mesquite as flooring for our living room, dining room, and two hallways. Though it's a beautiful wood (and it really is) it doesn't hold up to the high volume of traffic with kids and grandchild. My grandson dings the floor if he drops a matchbox car from a height of two feet. It's a beautiful wood to use in a more adult space like the master bedroom. Our hallways used to be red oak and never suffered such damage. It may be classified as a hardwood, it's definitely a softer hardwood. Though the sales people were great and very helpful, such differences were not communicated to us.

Unless Lumber Liquidators has any sugeestions, my wife and I are going to apply numerous coats of polyurethane to extend the service life of the floor? Any suggestions from you folks are wanted / solicited?

I would recommend lumber liquidators (and the Mesquite wood) to a friend with the caution of know your woods and it's applications.

It really is a stunning floor. Beautiful warm color tone with the perfect amount of color variation. I installed it in my kitchen and the transformation was truly extraordinary. The floor does scratch fairly easily, but I've found that murphys oil tends to work pretty well. Installation was straightforward and I had almost NO waste. I did have a problem with the nailer as it wouldn't nail a floor this thin....just watch out! Had to jerryrig it up.

I'd recommend this very highly!!!

After picking out diffrent types of wood in other rooms, I thought this would be my least favorite. After seeing it on the floor, turns out it's my favorite. Beautiful wood with lots of variation.

Beautiful product, installs easily, however, not nearly as scratch resistant as I was lead to believe. Full disclosure, I’m not expecting it to be concrete, and understand that dropping or dragging items will damage a hardwood surface, however the amount of damage done by a 26lb cocker spaniel with biweekly nail clippings is disturbing. We are considering scrapping the flooring after a month given the scratches for a sturdier product; [...]. We do feel we were mislead about the product with dogs.However, if you have no pets, it is beautiful flooring and I would recommend it. I do not know how it will hold up long term, but feel people without pets, perhaps children; it would be a great surface.

INSTALLED PRODUCT ON MY 2ND FLOOR PROFESSIONALLY AND IT GLOWS BEAUTIFULLY WITH OR WITHOUT LIGHT. EASY TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN. i LOVE EVERY BIT OF IT AND WHAT A GREAT INVESTMENT I WILL RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY WHO IS INTERESTED IN BUYING THIS PRODUCT.

I liked the flooring, but it could be better.
The finish was very good, and they went together
well with very little warping. There were a few bad pieces in the lot, but overall it was pretty
good. The down side for me was too many short
pieces in each box. If there were more longer sections, the floor would look much better.

We just wanted to show you know how beautiful our 3/4"x3-1/4" Bellawood Brazilian Mesquite worked out. We installed over 600 sq ft in our Master Bedroom and Hallway. The knee wall shown in the before shot was removed and we now have one large 17x30 foot Master Bedroom. We chose the Mesquite because of your description of it being more uniform than other exotic hardwoods, we weren't disappointed! The color is a beautiful medium brownish/red, very rich looking. We had very little waste and this was our first time putting down a hardwood floor! We plan on purchasing more for another bedroom in the coming months. I thought you might like to add a shot of the Mesquite since that wood is missing from your Gallery, I would have loved to have seen it myself during the process of deciding.
