Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2 1/4" Brazilian Walnut:
Varied colors and beautiful grain patterns. Extremely accurate milling of wood. Less than 1/4" variance over 24' room. Not one curved piece in 600 sq. ft. job. Used 2 1/4" width. Started with floor nailer and switched to coated staples. Nailer was cracking finish. Wood sounds like ceramic tile when you hit them together. Very hard.

I bought the oddlot and had about 30% waist. I bought extra new boxes at the same time. It came from two different stores. The milling was perfect. You need to make sure that if you start your run with one box stick with that box until you hit a wall or stop. If you start a new row with a different box, stay with that box until you hit a wall or stop. If you buy oddlots make sure you go thru the boxes when you get them home, and make sure that you put all your perfect pieces into a seperate box and once you go thru every box then count your good boxes for square footage.. Don't throw out your culled pieces, you can use them for end cuts and closets, under cabinets, etc. You also need to ask a professional installer for tips on keeping it tight against walls and little tricks on istalling it! It's best to have 3 handy people if possible on cutting, on laying out the rows ahead, and one nailing. This will cut your time about 1/3. I'm proud for anyone to see our floors now!

Had to remodel Home after Lightening\Fire.I chose this wood for its hardness and color.After the living room , dining room was done. I Wasted no time in ordering more for connecting bedrooms. It butts up against Slate in kitchen and front entry. Fantastic Look. No carpet for me!

We put this on the whole first floor of the house and it is beautiful. Next time may get a pro to install but you can do it yourself it you have the time

Several of the small cut pieces were not a full 2 1/4" wide. I had to use them because they were the most colorful pieces in the lot yet time and time again they were not as wide as the longer pieces around. This caused some gaps of 1/16" throughout the room. I would think at the price I paid that these pieces would be milled a little better.

With five dogs, this floor has proven to be very durable. The installer stated he hated installing this brand of wood as it is so difficult to install due to it being walnut and very durable. He has had no issues with it. I recommend this product highly and the different wood contrasts really help it go with anything.Product cleans easily. I recommend a light duster then we use murphys oil for hardwood floors to keep it looking good. No scratches yet! We are putting it in the living room, dining room, and office/library. For the price of the product, it is a very good investment. [...] Beats the hassle of having to find a truck depending on the size of your order and unloading it yourself.

Very sorry, this floor is not scratch resistant as promised. I really need help in solving this problem. The floor looks a mess.
