Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2 1/4" Maple Cinnamon Flooring:

I put down almost 1,500sqft in my house and it went well. The finish is very durable. I used a piece to cut all of my jambs and drywall and the finish only dented. The tools scraping over the surface never wore through the finish! I was very impressed. I also ordered too much wood. I anticipated between 5 and 10% scrap but this wasn't the case. I had 1% if that! I could only see 5% waste if you want perfect boards without any knots. But, I knew I was buying Select/#1 so knots were anticipated and add to the charm of the floors. So, the floors exceeded my expectations and I am very happy about that. There was only one drawback; the installation. If you plan to install yourself and you are doing a lot of square footage, don't get 2 1/4" planks! There is tremendous labor involved with narrow planks! I'm still recovering. 8) Instead, I suggest going with 3 1/4" as a minimum. I also strongly recommend a pneumatic nailer. If you want to do one room, no big deal, but if you do a large area you'll thank yourself.[...] They were always informative and courteous which is nice to see these days.Best of Luck!
