Put this in a bedroom. Very little waste. Changed the entire look and feel of the room - for the better! The boards fit together so nicely. Did not know about splines until after the job, Would have been nice to use in the closet area. Very satisfying project.

I bought 1100 square feet of this product. If you buy it you had better have lots and lots of closets or love short boards. I just opened another 25 square foot box with 8.5 square feet of boards shorter than 17 inches, 6 of them 11 inches long

The gunstock color is darker than what you would find at home improvement stores. The color was great on the floor and we received positive comments on the floor. However, the bullnose for the stairs and landing exposed edge was NOT a good match and the bullnose wood grain was a different grain and that was noticed by all of our guests. IF you plan on purchasing wood for your project that would require bullnose or transition pieces, MAKE SURE TO CHECK IF THE PIECES MATCH!

Bullnose ordered at same time was not even close to coloring of flooring. The boards were of uneven quality in that the color varied too much
