The price is so right! My wife had an estimate for $5500 and I talked her into waiting. I found this, and hired a person to install. I finished the whole job for [$]. It looks fantastic, and gives you a vacation, or lodge feel. We didn't stain just put three coats of poly, and we love it. [...] I will use them again!!!!!!!!!!

I've used this pine flooring on two different projects - both in rustic cabins. Its easy to install, goes down fast, and I recommend face nailing to keep it from cupping. This contributes to the old time look, and the minor inconsistencies in milling help also. Both floors were finished with a clear polyurethane, and will gradually get a little darker and over the years and gain character through use. Again, the word "rustic" is key here.

after staining and finishing this floor it is absolutely beautiful. there are some negatives though. the pieces are not all the same size which causes gaps in the seems of the floor and it does warp, however if it is a rustic look you're going for, this just adds caracter to the floor. my biggest gripe is that the floor was so damaged when my husband picked it up from the warehouse. some of the pieces were split a quarter of the way up and my husband had to cut much of it away to use it. it looked as if the load of wood had been dropped on one end and then left hanging halfway off the pallet until it was picked up which caused even more warping than usual.there was barely enough to finish the floor. aside from these things, it did turn out to be a beautiful floor.

I love the look of my new rustic wide plank pine floor! We didn't even have to sand it before staining one room walnut and one room oak. And the price is right!

Our entry hall and living room floor create the wooded look we wanted in a pine floor. Realizing pine is not a hard wood, we expect dings and scratches to appear. Using tung oil with many coats brings out the woods warmth and a lasting resilience.

Floor was put in my son's room to give it a warm, outdoor look. Worked out well, all who see it are very impressed and love the look.
