Used in our cottage as an alternative to laminate. It was not to difficult to install (took a bit of time as there was a lot of warped boards and trimming). Overall it looks good and has a warm rustic feel. There was a bit more waste than advertised (about 20%), and very few full usable boards. Be aware that this will dent and scratch VERY EASILY. This not of much concern to us as it is meant to look rustic. I ripped the bad boards down for trim and transition pieces. Great product for a cabin or cottage.

We put this down in our new addition, and loved it so much that we ended up laying it in the kitchen as well! This is the perfect "cottage look", very rustic and beautiful. Full of knots which we couldn't bear to cover with stain, so we sealed and will poly for extra protection. Pine is soft, so don't freak out about dings, they just add to the character. Also, this was our first time installing flooring, and it was a breeze-it clicks in place and we face-nailed for interest. There was almost no waste, and we've never been happier with the result. Our home was built in 1870, and this is the perfect material for the perfect price. We HIGHLY recommend it!
Ordered from the store, it was ready within a week, just as they promised. Items were carefully loaded into our truck by very courteous workers. We'll be back again and again!

I brushed the wood with a tinted wax free shellac as my stain before I installed. The shellac is the perfect sanding sealer and so a light hand sanding was all that was required. I installed the wood face down to augment the groove and give the room a more cottage feeling. To further accentuate the effect I simply face nailed them by hand (hammer). I had noticed the wood seemed to scratch easily so to prevent future anxiety about scratches I went ahead and pre-scratched my floor. I just dinked and drug my claw hammer until I was happy with the amount of damage I had done. I then mixed a thin solution of water and an umberish black and sponged it into the scratches. After it dried several layers of water poly perfected it. My house is 95 years old and my new "old" floor looks perfectly at home in it.

I was asked to purchase your product by my floor contractor. He has refinished all of my wide pine plank floors in my 105 year old house.I am thrilled at how the new floors fit in with the other floors in the house. The knots and other natural markings of the pine match the antique floors in my living room, master bedroom, upstairs hall and the stairs themselves.Floors are the biggest statement in any area. With out refinished or replaced floors my house would be very ho hum. Thanks for your product and great pricing. Kate McGregor

We are not quite done with our job but we have done enough to decide we are very happy with the purchase. The price cannot be beat, and the product is great. All of the boards are 6foot lengths (see pic), and T&G with butt ends. We bought 800 sq ft and plan to do the great room, hallway and two bedrms in our cabin in the adirondacks. As you see from the pics we have started in the great room and in two days did that room and a hallway. Some helpful hints: we usually trimmed the butt ends, as not all are smooth; we found that using less than the 6ft lengths made it easier to fit the T&G edges without gaps (though some boards fit fine, most will have some slight curving leaving noticeable gaps), check the tongues at the butt ends to make sure they line up (otherwise gaps will be even worse), use knee pads!! After reading some other posts on this site, we bought the nailer from [@] [$]) since we will be doing this project over several weekends - it is cheaper than renting and works fine (of course you need a compressor too, which we have). We used 2inch cleat nails and had few problems with the nailing part. We also plan to face nail for added interest.
boards as they were purchased

My husband installed the wide plank pine in our living room and a small bedroom. I love it! It looked so amazing that I left it natural just applied a sanding sealer and polyurethane finish. It is a rustic look and does nick easily, but as far as I'm concerned, the knots and the nicks give it character. I am now preparing to install in another bedroom and eventually thru out the whole house...you certainly can't go wrong at that price! You will, most likely, have about 20% waste on this product but still well worth it! Great product, great look, great value!!

This is going on walls and a 12-pitch, vaulted ceiling that spans 24' in a cabin built of antique logs with framed interior. We are using 16 parts water-based poly, one part white paint x 2 coats prior to hanging. The patterns of the wood grain and knots are fascinatingly beautiful that make our imaginations run wild; yet, it's not too "busy." My biggest problem is that there is not enough "bad" wood to put behind cabinets and other out-of-sight areas!!! It bothers me to "bury" such beauty.

Comments about Clover Lea 3/4" x 5-1/8" x 6' New England White Pine:
Started the project with no experience in flooring and finished the project with the satisfaction that comes with a big accomplishment. I started with ordering 750sq ft of the 3/4 x 5- 1/8 pine flooring. The guys were great that took the order and very helpful with recomendations. I then went and bought a air floor nailer from Harbor freight for 149.99 instead of renting it and couldnt be happier with the purchase. When I got into the project it went very smoothly and I had little waste the only thing that I need to do is order about 50 more sq ft and floor the closets. The only thing left to do is sand, condition, stain and poly. I recomend this product and recomend Lumber Liquidators. I cant wait to crack that beer when its all said and done and tell guest that I did the floors. john

Your web site says to expect 10% waste, but it was about 30%. I plan to do my whole house with this, a room at a time, and I hope the batch I got for my DR was not typical.

Finished, paint with wood grain worked perfect
Comments about Clover Lea 3/4" x 5-1/8" x 6' New England White Pine:
This was put down in my son's living room and looks fanatastic. The wood grain is beautiful and I like the wider width. It is softer than some of the hardwoods and it's too soon to tell how it will wear. We put 3 coats of "gym seal"
on it as a finish. The price was very economical.
I would like to put this type flooring down in my house now! It really looks great.
Comments about Clover Lea 3/4" x 5-1/8" x 6' New England White Pine:
We used it for the entire upstairs of our house. We plan to paint it, but it does seem to be a shame to cover it with paint because it is so pretty. We had almost zero waste. There are alot of knots but we like that. Very occasionally we have had to cut around a knot. We face nailed it for ease and character. We will only spot sand where necessary. It doesn't need much if any prep for finishing. Excellent product for the price.

We have installed solid wood floors in two other houses. The quality and beauty of this wood was outstanding. We now have stained, sealed and are applying the finish. Couldn't be more pleased, it is gorgeous.
Comments about Clover Lea 3/4" x 5-1/8" x 6' New England White Pine:
I used about 450 sq.ft. for a ceiling with the v-groove side visible. It turned out great. It's a nice look with the knots and rich color. There were many imperfections and unusable boards, but ordering 25% extra was fine. I used the extra boards for rough shelving in the garage. Overall I was surprised by the good quality for the low cost.
Comments about Clover Lea 3/4" x 5-1/8" x 6' New England White Pine:
This product is really affordable. It's different looking, but really cool as well. It's pretty soft, so you don't want to install it in an area with a lot of traffic or furniture that moves around. The beveled edges feel kind of odd on your feet, and you have to buy quite a bit extra for waste, because some of the boards have "issues." It is easy to finish and looks really nice though. It's a good value for the price.
Comments about Clover Lea 3/4" x 5-1/8" x 6' New England White Pine:
I put this floor down in my daughter's bedroom. I was looking for a floor that was not too expensive put yet would still look good and go with the style of our 100 year old farm house. As with any pine product you will have some pieces with knots but overall I had very little waste, no more than 10%. I finished the floor with a clear poly. The floor went in prety simple and took very little sanding to get a nice finish

We have built an English Cottage (with a round front door and window boxes & more) near Lincoln's New Salem in Illinois and this tongue in groove flooring is being installed in our entire downstairs area and will also be used to make a farm table and a huge bench in our foyer. With a little imagination and various stains we ordered extra square footage so that we could be creative. It hardly needs any finish sanding at all and has hardly any problem defects. We are very happy with our selection, especially since we are doing the entire project ourselves.
