Comments about 3/4" x 6" Utility Oak Flooring:
The utility grade, 6-inch wide wood flooring is great. My husband and I installed it in our upstairs hallway to start with. We love the flooring so much that we are going to lay this exact wood flooring in our kitchen, living room, dining room and foyer. Many people have said on here that they like the flooring, but that there are a lot of short pieces and a lot of waste. My husband and I did not scrap anything. We used it all...knots and everything. If you like flooring with character, then keep them and you will use virtually every piece. We got enough for 15% waste and we ended up with about 30 square feet extra (bought 115 square feet). This floor is also really easy to install. The tongue and groove met up well. We did end up putting grooves on two pieces because they were pretty long pieces (about 3 1/2 feet long), but my husband just did that with a saw. If you like flooring with character then this would be for you. We kept all the knots and some shallow cracks and stained the floor dark. It's gorgeous!

We used this product as a wanescoat for a bathrrom and reception desk wall-it came unfinished, which was nice so we could match it to our colors, and it gave a beautiful rustic look to this office. Some pieces came with flaws so make sure you order a bit extra!
