I used this for the floor in a new sunroom - although it was unfinished wood - I thought it would be the same width and the same thickness - it was not and therefore made installation very difficult. After finishing it looks okay but I would not recommend it to anyone - especially for the cost.

I used the product to replace damaged original floor boards. The wood has a nice grain but almost every board had somed defect. Knots are fine, thats expected. But the millwork was horrible. Almost every 7ft board was warped/curved/bowed. I must have had at least 30% waste. Luckily I only need the width to be 3.5" so I was able to cut most down to size and fix the poor millwork.

A little online searching and trying it out makes for a good weekend project. Pretty easy to install and it looks great.

[...]- GreatInstall:The floor was tung-stapled into subflooring. We have radiant heat flooring and yellow pine was found to be suitable. There was less waste than suggested or expected. For each bundle of 28 lf you will have two 7' and four smaller pieces. I find myself being picky when it comes to straightness and knots or other defects, but rejected only very few boards completely. I would recommend to re-cut all factory cuts as they are not always straight and/or smooth. The "wasted" boards are still good enough for covered areas or other projects.
