its stated as a number 2 product and thats what you will get there is open and closed graining
That looks nice when stained or just polyurathane
I used it in my family room its really nice

My husband and friend installed the wood flooring and underlayments. We hired a company to do the sanding and apply polyurethane.
Great savings by doing it this way!

Used this flooring to tie into existing 70 yr old floor before refinishing entire surface. Had to replace random pieces and add to an area where there was no original flooring, and results were fantastic!

This white oak turned out absolutely gorgeous. We bought enough to do all three of our bedrooms, and we have completed one room! We can't stay out of the room because we are in love with the way it turned out! Definitely a "rustic" look, so make sure that is what you want. We did not stain the wood and are very happy that we did not. Buyer beware: make sure to buy lots of extra, as we had many pieces that were not usable.

Floor turned out great.

The White Oak Unfinished #2/Rustic I bought had mostly shorts witch was just what I needed to blend in with the 60 year old floors in the rest of my home. I refinished three room and hallways, installed new unfinished oak in kitchen, dinning room and four closets. After all was sanded stained and sealed it all looks great.
