Used for kitchen countertop. Absolutely gorgeous. Polished it up with mineral oil from the drug store which gave it the protective, natural finish we wanted. We used the excess for an extra thick backsplash, cutting board, and facing for 2 accent drawers. The overall result is stunning and warm. Does not look country-fied. Looks sophisticated, earthy, and warm.
The front-sides were damaged [...]. We had to sand out the indentations of the wood before they could be installed. It took quite awhile since some were deep. We had checked the backside before bringing home. Otherwise, quality, price, [...] were very good.
I installed these Cherry countertops in our cabin and was so impressed that we are buying more for a kitchen table in our house. Covered it with Waterlox tung oil. Be careful about the factory sanding swirls. I didn't notice them at first and almost finished the wood before sanding them out.
I ordered three pieces of this butcher block, two were used for a long counter in my kitchen, a good contrast to a marble-top island. The wood is very pretty, nice quality and a great price. It was easy to cut to the needed sizes. I also used it as a countertop on custom cabinets for a built-in dining room sideboard, which looks great too. There were a few small dings in it [...], but some sanding minimized that, and in my rustic house, it wasn't a big issue. Oiling the wood brings out the nice cherry color. I may use some remnants left over for backsplashes or a countertop in a bathroom.
TOO BAD THIS DOESN'T COME IN A WIDTH FOR A KITCHEN ISLAND, I HAD TO LAMINATE 2 PIECES TOGETHER.

This product was easy to install in our newly constructed home's kitchen. Although described in your ads as "unfinished", it took very little sanding and only a couple of coats of Boos Block oil to bring out the color and grain of this beautiful wood. We have had many compliments on our counters- they look fantastic!

The cherry butcher block countertop gives our kitchen a warm feel. We got quotes from other places that were several times higher than Lumber Liquidators. This is a high quality piece at a great price!
I used this slab on an cooktop island. I looked around for butcher block, was hesitent based on price, then found this product at Lumber Liquidators. While the price point was what drew me in, the quality and service quickly matched. I will buy this again, have recommended it to friends, and encourage anyone interested to strongly consider it. I am a DIY'er.

I installed it on the top of my 6'X 6' island in my kitchen. I did not put a finish (stained and sealed) on it I justed used oil. When it gets beat up (scratched or dented) I just lightly sand it and apply more oil. Looks as good as new.

I purchased this butcher block without really knowing what it would be like. Routered the edges 10 minutes of Sanding and 4 coats of polyurethane total time 3 hours. Assembled it with Diner Table legs for a corner booth I had made and it came out beautiful. I have 3 little girls and it will be indestructible. They eat right off the surface, have spilled on it. I will be the kitchen table they grow up using and probably inherit someday. I priced out a custom table for this spot and it was priced at about 1500-1800 non of the customs looked as good. I love the Cherry very understated.
