Between April and June, Lumber Liquidators customers were busy upgrading their homes with beautiful new floors! Here are some of your own reviews, a few great before and after shots, and some of our favorite customer photos!
“Our home was built around 1800 but you’d never know it. The ‘contract cream’ paint and cheap carpet made it feel like an apartment. We wanted flooring that was warm and had plenty of character. So far, one room done and we love it! We face-nailed the boards, pre-conditioned and then lightly stained them with ‘Early American’ by Minwax being careful to fill the nail holes with stain. Three coats of a good poly and the place looks amazing! Can’t wait to see how it wears but we’re expecting some dings, etc. It will only add to the character.”
“My contractor picked up the countertop from our local Lumber Liquidators and got to work sanding it and treating it right away. The beautiful color showed itself after the first oiling, but he did 4-5 sandings and oilings, moving up to 600 grit for the final sanding. It is just gorgeous. He also cut a foot off the 8′ length and made me a huge separate cutting board from that piece! That end piece also is the end with the ‘Williamsburg Butcher Block Co’ stamp and it looks really cool. I love my countertop and the price was very reasonable.”
“Saw this bamboo online and wanted to see what it looked like in person, went to the local Lumber Liquidators store but they had none in stock, took a chance and ordered it. I love it, works great in our family room. Me and me wife did the install, glued down on concrete, we were in pain for a week but it turned out lovely.”
“We put this floor in our family room, kitchen and dining room about 3 years ago. It is been super durable (only a handful of scratches in 3 yrs) and EVERYONE that comes into our house comments on how beautiful it is. We love it and so does everyone who sees it. It was difficult to install because the wood is sooooo hard and the pieces are not always milled perfectly, but it is do-able. And it is definitely worth the hard work!”
“We rehabbed our new house with 3500 sqft of this amazing flooring. We put it in every room in the house including the bathrooms and mud room. During the rehab the floor took all the dust, dirt, tools and still looks new. The distressed look makes it ideal so you don’t see little scratches or marks.”
“I first used this product in 2006, to cover a bedroom, a bathroom and the laundry room floors. I loved its beauty, feel and durability so much that, 7 years later, when I renovated the kitchen and den, it was my first choice in flooring. The rest of my house has original hardwood flooring and the two products complement each other beautifully.”
