Customer Transformations: April 11 – 15

Happy Monday, everyone! It’s time once again to showcase some fabulous home makeovers sent to us by people just like you. These Before & After submissions demonstrate the dramatic difference new floors can make in any space – from the kitchen to the family room. It wasn’t easy selecting just five transformations to feature, but we think the ones we chose will provide plenty of inspiration. Read on to see these exciting home makeovers – and when you’re done, remember to visit our site to see even more submissions!

Jill Heusohn – Dupo, IL

Jill’s kitchen floor didn’t make much of a style statement in her kitchen – but installing our Lake Toba Teak laminate spiced up the space! The eye-catching surface, which mimics the appearance of exotic hardwood, imbues a healthy dose of texture and pattern. It blends seamlessly with the existing decor, including the white appliances and light wood cabinetry, while adding a fresh, new look. “Good quality product! Went together quick and easy,” Jill wrote. It looks great, Jill; thanks for sharing your photo!

Todd Snyder – Millsboro, DE

Replacing neutral carpet with our Antique Hazel Strand bamboo drastically upped the style factor in this cozy and stylish living room. The exotic species boasts rich texture and a dramatically dark color for a floor that’s sophisticated yet exudes casual comfort. The dark brown surface anchors the space, contrasting with the light walls and blending beautifully with the furnishings. “We absolutely love it,” Todd wrote. So do we, Todd; terrific job!

Jennifer Charette – Georgetown, TX

Jennifer wanted to update her family room. Her solution? Our Mount Craig Cherry resilient vinyl. Inspired by cherry hardwood, the environmentally friendly surface immediately brightened the dark space, making it “lighter and happier,” Jennifer wrote. The floor sets a charming scene filled with natural appeal, and it looks perfect with the space’s creamy color palette. “What a difference!” Jennifer wrote. We agree, Jennifer; thank for sharing your family room transformation!

Jim Harris – Morganton, NC

Jim’s living room got a gorgeous new look when he installed our
Bellawood Brazilian Koa hardwood. Also called Tigerwood, this distinctive surface, with its orange hue and brown-and-black striping, took the space to a whole new level of style. Sophisticated furnishings in quiet hues complement the colors and let the exotic floor take center stage. Jim is a fan of both its good looks and its durability. “The floor turned out beautiful,” Jim wrote. “The Koa is extremely hard.” Nice job, Jim; we love the new look!

Krista Wolfe – Woburn, MA

Krista was ready for a change – so she replaced her kitchen’s existing ceramic tile with our Smith Mountain Laurel laminate. Filled with classic appeal, the new surface is the ideal ingredient to complete this stylish kitchen. The light-colored floor, punctuated with the appearance of knots, is the perfect backdrop for the chocolate brown cabinetry and complements the multicolored backsplash. “It looks fantastic!” Krista wrote. We think so too, Krista; thanks for filling us in on your project!
