It’s a brand new week, which can only mean one thing: customer transformations! We were not only blown away by how everyone was able to completely change a living space, but we are absolutely head over heels for the flooring you’ve chosen. As always, it’s never easy just picking five home makeovers; however, the ones we’ve picked this week are sure to make you do a double take. If you love what you see, make sure to stop by our Before & After site for even more incredible transformations.
Erica Denney – Ocala, FL
Food and fibers are never a good combination. Knowing this, Erica replaced the taupe carpet in her dining room with our Avella Brindle Wood Tobacco High Definition Porcelain flooring, and now the space is fit for a feast! The look of wood and the easy application of tile means Erica will never have to worry about spills or messes ruining her new floor. Even more, the unique and dramatic wood grain image beautifully contrasts with her classic cabinetry and nicely complements her dark dining room table and chairs. The new flooring is bound to be the first thing your guests see, Erica; great job!
Jeff Shaw – Cleveland, OH
When Jeff Shaw and his wife purchased a new home this year, they were not fans of the yellow linoleum flooring in their kitchen; with every new homeowner comes new styles and tastes. The Shaws quickly set out to add their own personal touch. After scraping the wallpaper and backsplash, they installed our Dream Home Flint Creek Oak laminate. Now, the space is 100 percent them! It’s incredibly regal. The new flooring lends elegance and grace and looks gorgeous paired with their white cabinets. “We are just so happy with the outcome,” Jeff wrote. We couldn’t be happier to hear that, Jeff; we love what you’ve done with the place!
Carmen Kochell – Deltona, FL
We all love our pets, but shedding? Not so much. Before Carmen installed our Dream Home Alpine Oak laminate in her dining room, her white carpet most likely required many rounds of vacuuming. (And her furry felines probably didn’t make it easy.) With the new flooring, however, those days are gone. Now Carmen can spend less time worrying about fur trapped in carpet fibers and more time enjoying her harmonious living space. It even creates the illusion of more space and reflects enough natural light to give off an inviting and airy feel. Even the dark furniture beautifully stands out. “It looks great,” Carmen wrote. “I’m happy with the results.” We are too, Carmen; it looks stunning!
Teresa Stocker – Newburgh, IN
Teresa installed our Virginia Mill Works Burnished Acacia flooring in her office, and the transformation couldn’t be more drastic! Before, the carpet looked worn and created a little too much warmth paired with the deep red walls. Now, the beautifully distressed and exotic flooring looks right at home with the newly painted walls. With such a nice contrast, the living space looks much bigger and more inviting. Teresa will have no problem being productive in this room. Keep up the great work, Teresa; awesome job!
Jamie Mealor – Alford, FL
Living rooms see a lot of activity, so it’s incredibly important that the flooring be able to withstand the traffic. To replace the outdated carpeting, Jamie installed our Morning Star Antique Hazel Click Strand bamboo flooring – made with real bamboo. The new flooring is twice as hard as oak and is an optimal choice for busy, high-traffic homes. With the floor’s natural beauty and polished graining, Jamie is sure to love her new bamboo for years to come. It looks incredible, Jamie; bravo!
