Happy Presidents Day, everyone! We hope your Monday kicks off to a great start, and may the rest of the week follow suit. Let’s get down to business and showcase some of the best home transformations of the week. Like always, if you want a chance to be featured in next week’s blog, head over to our Before & After site and submit your before-and-after picture. Whether it’s of your living room, dining room, children’s room, or bathroom – we promise we look at them all. And in case we haven’t said it enough already, we’re incredibly thankful for your trust and business. At Lumber Liquidators, we strive to provide flooring you can be proud of. We know we’re always proud of you. Let’s see who caught our eye this week!
Angela Jones – Dayton, OH
While Angela had a pretty small space to work with, she was able to completely transform her bathroom with a nice coat of paint and our Dream Home Bull Barn Oak laminate flooring. This flooring features a textured, distressed appearance that provides a beautiful, rustic feel. Not only that but its V-groove design, high-gloss finish, and pre-glued attached underlayment makes this laminate exceptionally durable and incredibly easy to install. In fact, this gorgeous flooring is engineered to resist scratches and stains while staying in prime condition for years to come. In Angela’s bathroom, specifically, our laminate effortlessly adds much-needed dimension and spaciousness. “I also used the matching quarter round and threshold,” Angela wrote. “Just need to seal it. Love it!”
We love it, too, Angela; thanks for sharing!
Chris Carter – Parrish, FL
Chris’ home had carpet in all four bedrooms, hallway, and closets. However, with two dogs and a baby on the way, he wanted to make sure things would be easy to clean. So he ripped up the carpet and headed over to Lumber Liquidators, where he had an easy time getting everything he needed and all at a reasonable price (his words, not ours!). In fact, to take on this critical mission, he chose our Dream Home Roasted Chickory laminate flooring. This flooring is an excellent choice for anyone looking for the warmth of wood yet the durability of laminate. And its warm and inviting medium to deep brown tones, dark knots, and characteristic wood graining make it an affordable style that is beautifully authentic. “I was able to bring back the unused boxes that I had purchased and had the easiest return,” Chris wrote. “The floors look great! The only is that I wished I did this sooner!”
It makes us so happy to hear that, Chris; all the best with the family!
Sylvia Sims – Summerville, SC
We all need a space in our home where we can concentrate. For most people, that means an office. But it takes a special type of flooring to achieve the quality Zen homeowners pine for. If you’re in the market for office flooring, you might want to follow Sylvia’s lead. She installed our Dream Home Heritage Walnut laminate flooring, and can already feel the peace and quiet. Our laminate is an easy-to-install and easy-to-maintain floor that replicates the natural color, grain, and texture of hardwood. Not only does it click together with ease but it offers a versatile and affordable alternative to more expensive options. It’s also exceptionally moisture and scratch resistant, making it ideal for high-traffic areas. Our Heritage Walnut, in particular, features deep brown and red wood tones that naturally draws the eye. Yet, it’s not overwhelming. A perfect pick for Sylvia’s office. “Loving this flooring,” Sylvia wrote.
Your office turned out great, Sylvia; wonderful job!
Thomas Clark – East Brunswick, NJ
In preparation to sell, Thomas updated his kitchen floor with our Morning Star Engineered Carbonized Strand bamboo flooring, and we think the place looks refreshed and updated. Our engineered flooring is constructed with a real hardwood veneer atop a moisture-resistant medium-density fiberboard core, which is made from real wood fibers that are compressed into a dense, impact-resistant format. In addition to providing extra protection against denting, the MDF enables the most precise milling of the locking profile to enhance ease of use and long-term durability. What’s even better about this flooring is that strand bamboo is twice as hard as oak, so if the challenges of daily living are a top concern, this flooring is a great option. It also features a regal and traditional look – making it aesthetically pleasing in any style of home. Thomas may want to reconsider selling his home. “Floor looks great and gives the ‘WOW’ factor I was looking for,” Thomas wrote.
That’s the best news we’ve received all day, Thomas; thank you for your loyalty.
Tanya Fook-Marshall – Matteson, IL
You don’t need to do something crazy or over-the-top to take something from drab to fab. Tanya was able to change the complete look of her staircase by simply replacing the carpeting with our Bellawood Matte Brazilian Pecan Engineered flooring. Now, each step is one of a kind! Characterized by a low gloss and an oil look without the tedious maintenance, our Brazilian Pecan consists of a wide range of colors, from light beige to dark brown, and is one of the hardest and most durable woods on the market. This wood’s durability – paired with bold tone variations – make it a unique but popular contemporary choice that will spice up any room. In fact, the hardwood veneer is up to three times thicker than standard engineered hardwood flooring, and features a best-in-class stain, gloss, and scuff resistance. It’s also backed by a 100-year transferable warranty, so if anything should happen, Lumber Liquidators has your back.
What a masterpiece, Tanya; we absolutely love the look!
Thanks to everyone who shared his or her success story with us last week; we always enjoy seeing the transformations in each home. Be sure to check out our Before & After gallery for more inspiration!
